I'm going to start off with the good. Niazi is a good person who took responsibility of a dent on my car. I dropped off my new car to get a nail taken out, and ended up with a dent on my passenger side. While I was putting my book bag in the passenger side, I noticed a pretty large crease going horizontally. Niazi insisted that he didn't know what happened, but that he would take responsibility since it happened at his shop. The bad: he sent me to his nephew's body shop for repairs, that lead to other damages, but I'll leave it for that shop's review. His nephew, like him, was really nice. But again, nice doesn't make up for damages. The bottom line: a dent shouldn't have been made for a simple nail removal and patch job. read more

Promised a functioning car. Sold a luxury car with many issues - not honest about the problems. Not professional. Takes money but does not fix what's needed. For example changes were made to car that does not have anything registered anywhere. A lot of work is needed in this car that was told differently ( said car has "no problems." ). If you don't want to read the whole essay I've written, just understand one thing NEVER come to this location unless you want to get scammed. The first time I came to this location was on 09/01/2023 and my mileage was at 71,000. At that time I had my shocks, rotors, and my brake pads replaced. Don't ask me why I needed all that replaced when my 2017 car is still fairly new, I don't drive recklessly, and I don't drive on rough roads either. Unfortunately, I had trouble with my rear brakes making a screeching noise. This location does charge you for labor as well this is important. I didn't have an issue with it at that time. Come 05/01/2025 I'm hearing a screeching noise again. Surely it's just the brake pads, although why would my brake pads be worn out already?? I go in a few days later and I'm expecting at the most to pay for just the brake pads. However, since my rear brakes pads were non existent at this point it did damage the rotor therefore having to replace that as well. Let me reiterate this, I do NOT brake hard was the only reason they have me as to why I have to replace them again. I'd admit it otherwise and change my bad habits if it costs me $80 for ceramic pads, $160 for the rotor, and another $160 for labor each time. Why else could my brake pads need to be replaced so soon?! Now I'm not saying they gave me faulty equipment because my partner did check when they installed it and I'm not saying they installed it incorrectly or else I would have noticed it right away at least from the sound. I can't say anything for sure. What made me question this establishment was the shocks situation. They said I need to have my shocks replaced as well! When like I said I got them replaced not even 2 years ago, when I accumulated at most 12,000 more miles since then, and I don't drive far! I stay in the suburbs! After I remind them that I replaced them at my last visit (side note: as a professional that just looked at my paperwork wouldn't you look at the date of my last visit, what services was provided to me, and what mileage my car was at that time and what it is now?) they went back to the computer to verify this. The man that stayed at the counter and the man who was working on my car were silently talking about how shocks have a limited warranty for only a year. (They both looked like the same exact employees from my last visit) Very convenient since I'm coming in after that year of limited warranty expires. So I press again! Why do I need to get the shocks replaced if it hasn't even been 2 years and aren't they good for at least another 50,000 miles? The man behind the counter ends up calling about the shocks warranty and lo and behold my shocks are still under warranty! So if they are trying to get me to suspect them of scamming me for more money they are doing a great job. Now I hear the guy order parts I need for my car and also tell the guy who's working on my car to go ahead and start the service on my car. I wasn't aware someone else was with me that gave you the consent to go ahead and work on my car. I NEVER said to go forth with the services and after I told him I'd just want the quote he wants to look at me all surprised. Sir are you delusional?! After you just "forgot" about my warranty or you weren't aware of the timeline for the warranty (either one is bad practice). And you're still going to charge me for labor for replacing the shocks as well?! To solidify the fact that I don't need my shocks replaced I not only ask my wise parents (who said they are trying to scam me) and go to TWO separate places to which they have NOTHING to say about my shocks. It is VERY common for women like me to get taken advantage of at these places since we won't know everything and we want to trust the workers as well as the business to treat us fairly. Not even just women, but younger people or those who look like they have no clue about cars. Now you may be saying wow this lady has a lot of time on her hands to write this long review. I do not write reviews often and if this review guides people away from this location then at least it wasn't a waste of time. If you're wondering who ended up helping me it was Midas in Arlington Heights who did not try to scam me and also offers a lifetime warranty on ceramic break pads. read more

These guys were supposed to fix a standard flat tire.. went in there thinking this tire shop will do the job right.. WRONG!! Went home and 2hrs later my tire was flat as pancake! These guys are awful. The last owners were great. My alarm wasn't working correctly so I needed it removed. They pulled all kinds of wires out from under my dashboard (while I was still there.) Now it's like a 3 Stooges movie. The alarm light CONSTANTLY clicks whether the car is on or off. When the car is off - even if you just open the door- the fog & turn signal lights keep flashing. The screen where the clock & radio show settings constantly flashes while I drive. They put an expensive battery in a 14 yr old family car. All of this crap will run the battery down fast. Be sure to pick a specific battery. It's awful. Obviously wires are all crossed. The labor costs are insane. I've bought batteries. They take 15 mins to install. I'm complaining through my credit card co & these guys will pay for further repairs whether they like it or not. read more

They will use the wrong spec oil 5w-30 instead of 5w-20 to save maybe 50 cents or a dollar a quart. Ruined my car after messing up the replacment of my valve cover gasket and using wrong, cheaper oil. When asked if the person who worked on the car knew what he was doing I was told that it was his first time changing the valve cover gasket. Still they will blame your car and that it was just a coincidence that it broke down right exactly after you drove it out of the shop even though it was running fine before. read more

Unbelievable service!!! The new owner for the last 9 months stays there all day and gives you his undivided attention and explains everything in detail. He will save you so much money that you will be amazed. My bill for my Mercedes was 12,000$ at the Mercedes dealership in Naperville so I tried him and he did it for less than 2,000$!!!! The only difference is that his work was more reliable than the Mercedes dealership!! He even called me and explained on a daily basis what needed to be done!!! I never trust mechanics for the whole, but he is more than honest, he actually loves fixing cars!!! He has my business and anyone who is in my family!! He fixed my daughter's BMW and it really needed a lot of work. Bought an alternator from them, which then died a year later. They refused to cover the cost of a new alternator, which they definitely should have, alternators should last much longer than a year. they said that it was out of warranty, so I did some research online and found all sorts of alternators online with lifetime warranties. This was clearly a rip off, and we will never be going back. UPDATE: We just found out that our A/C died because "somebody" forgot to plug the compressor back in, which conveniently happened just 2 weeks after they replaced our alternator for the 2nd time! The new garage we took our van to literally told us "somebody does not like you". Simply put: this place will do anything they can to scam you out of every cent you have. They literally sabotaged our car in order to get more money out of us in the future. So glad we're not going there anymore. They are literally thieves. UPDATE #2: We just had our battery checked because it kept dying, and they said the battery terminals were shot, and they said that someone who didn't know what they were doing messed it up when they replaced the alternator (in this case, that person who didn't know what they were doing working for Rich's Wood Dale). Just another example of how incompetent this garage is. I wouldn't trust them to fix my son's Hot Wheels at this point. read more

This is an excellent little shop. My family has several cars and recreational vehicles, some of which have odd tire sizes that are hard to put on. They have done them all and done an excellent job and have a pretty decent price (not the best but you pay for quality, a tire is something that should be put on ONCE! and done right) Every low profile tire I have put on here has had no problems, not so with ones put on by other shops. Coincidence? maybe but who knows. Another thing I appreciate about this place is their HONESTY. If they do not know how to work on your car they will tell you and not attempt to do work they are not experienced with. Pretty rare these days and greatly appreciated! This place is great. I drove over something sharp and it cut through my tire. I was able to drive on it a bit, but the first place I tried to get it my tire changed didn't have the tire my truck takes. So I drove over here to Rich's Tire Center. Rich was there and was pretty helpful in getting my truck in right away and then was able to replace the tire quickly for a good price. I'll probably go back here for all my tire needs in the future. read more

I recently had an oil change, when I picked the car up the door handle, arm rest and steering wheel were all covered with black grease. I took a white paper towel smeared some of the black grease on it and brought it into the owner. He acted as if I was bothering him, never apologized and said "wait let me clean it". I would be embarrassed to let a car out of my possession without making sure it was cleaner when the customer picked it up than it was when it was dropped off. I asked him how much air was put into the tires and he said I don't know. Never offered to find out, this man is so angry with something or someone that he forgot he was in the service business. I will never return, I will never refer and I have read so many reviews that state the terrible attitude. I used to be that negative, mean and terrible person. Thank God today I don't have to be that person any longer. I thank people when they do a good job, I also tell them when they don't. These guys are money mongers. I wanted my flat repaired and they told me the tire was no good because I drove on it too long. Of course they wanted me to buy a tire (or four). I went down the street, they submerged my tire in water and said it was fine, it had a rim leak. They cleaned the rim and re-installed the tire. Good as new and price was right. 12 bucks. Stay away from Riches unless you want pay for something you don't need. read more

my experience with rich's wooddale tire was great. i was told by another repair facility that the noise i was hearing was coming from the transmission & it would need to be rebuilt for $2,200.00. rich, the owner, asked his tech to test drive my honda & determine what the noise was. after a quick inspection he determined i had a bad wheel bearing. they replaced the bearing for $260.00 & the noise was gone. rich saved me from spending money on an unnecessary repair. i definitely will visit this facility again for any work i may need in the future. read more
