When he opened his own shop I was on board. I have been dealing with John over 10 years, and have very few complaints. Pros: Honest, straightforward, knowledgeable, and reliable. When you take your car for an estimate John will let you know all your options. He is not the type of mechanic to add a bunch of unneeded work, and extras. Cons: It's just John. You may need to wait a few days to get an appointment, and because of his busy schedule, you may need to purchase parts for the work. I like buying my own parts. It allows me to see what they actually cost, and helps me to know there are no hidden fees. This may be a turn off to some customers. I would recommend getting into a habit of learning what labor, and parts cost. You'll save lots of money in the long run. John works on most makes, and models, but if you are a Volvo owner in the Attleboro area, making friend with John is a must.

I did some damage to my car (fender bender, needed hood replaces and some misc parts from the front end) and needed to get it fixed as soon as possible. Read the reviews and decided to take a chance with a place that was nearby. Dwayne was really nice to deal with--friendly and non-judgmental about my accident--and talked me through what needed to happen to get my car fixed. He did a thorough job with the repair, swapped out some parts with acceptably used versions to save me some money, and got the whole thing done even more quickly than his estimate. His shop doesn't look from the street like it would be a pro outfit (the barky dog is actually a sweetheart) but the job he did on my car was amazing. You can't see the damage and he even waxed my car before he returned it to me. He's a second-generation mechanic and has been working here since he was a kid. He has an intuitive feel for body work and a really easy manner. I was not in a good mood after my crash and having a good experience getting the whole thing fixed really just made my whole month.

They said it was the water pump and to have it towed back to U-Save as it should be under Warranty.
