I have been doing business with this dealer since 1979 (not service, buying vehicles only) and their response to me was we're booking into November! I find this attitude extremely offputting, do they really expect someone to wait 3 or 4 months to get a vechicle repaired. This is where J&S Auto comes into the picture. I read several of their reviews, and found one from a fellow I used to work with, so I decided to give them a call. Spoke with Rick, and laid everything out to him. He was a bit skeptical at first, but gave me an appointment for the following week. (Not November!) I brought the vehicle in, and they did their diagnosis, and came back to me with a very professionally written estimate so that I could see everything that needed to be done. Now, I will say it turned out to be rather pricey, not the neighborhood guy that works cheap, but you get what you pay for. The work was done by professionals, the communication was excellent, and the most important thing is the vehicle is running great. Be fair with their prices and honest with their work. I've never had a bad experience at any Firestone, but these guys in particular are really just outstanding and really deserving of praise. I can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review! I've been coming to this location for about 4 years now. They are always kind, explain everything and are happy to answer any questions you may have. They are always happy to make recommendations, but never, ever make you feel like you're being forced into making repairs. They are honest, work efficiently and have great attention to detail. These guys really make an effort to get to know their customers, too, which is also rare in my experience. I had an issue in early 2016 where my car broke down on the side of the New Jersey turnpike. I was 21, had never had an incident like this away from home, and was just with one of my good friends. We were two young girls stranded in (what felt like) the middle of nowhere. I had it towed to the nearest Firestone, and the guys were great there, but they were having a really difficult time (I mean, they told me I may need to get a tow from NJ back to RI) locating the part that I needed (it was a small bolt that had snapped off). In a panic, I called my local Firestone to ask them for advice. Chic and his team were literal lifesavers on this day. They were able to identify the part number, locate the closest place the guys in NJ could get said part, and were the true reason my car was able to be fixed/driven back to RI. They went above and beyond here and I'll never be able to thank them enough for that. More recently, I had to get four new tires (which I dreaded) around Labor Day, and Mike worked with me to find the right kind of tire for me/a set that was in my price range. He made the experience easy and seamless. I just got my brakes and inspection done yesterday at this location. They were incredibly fast, kept me updated, and called me as soon as it was done. It was a Saturday and they seemed very busy, but it only took a little over two hours - which is incredibly fast to me, because I normally have to wait 3 hours for an oil change at my dealership. Their prices are modest and they always offer great coupons/discounts. I tell everyone I know to go see Chic, Mike, and the rest of these guys. They always go above and beyond and are overall a fantastic team.

I have…read morebeen coming here for at least 10 years for various jobs: smog registration, new tires, whats-up-with-this-and-that, etc. Recently, my car's rear turn light died. Since my dealer service warranty has expired and I was determined not to spend an arm and a leg this time, I drove in to New England Tire Car Care in Warwick on a late Saturday afternoon. Not only did they check my car within the same day, they also diagnosed the problem and offered to order the original part by Monday. By Tuesday, the problem was fixed and I was able to drive out of there with a new, OEM taillight that did not cost me greatly. Ed, Greg, and Mike--everyone, really--are pleasant and really helpful. The place doesn't have a fancy waiting room but it works. Most importantly, their service is good. I give this place a thumbs up on value and customer service.
