I bought my car used a few years ago, and have kept it pretty clean. But over the years, it's taken a beating, and my own efforts at cleaning weren't cutting it. When I spilled some broccoli soup on the floor mats, a smell permeated.. so I needed to get it detailed. I called Jeff at Auto Salon at Leschi and he said he could get my car in the next day. We discussed the base price for an interior detailing ($225) which was high compared to other places, but time was of the essence and I wanted to get my car really cleaned. Jeff's team scrubbed my car's interior, getting out old stains on upholstery, the smell, and so much other dust and dirt that had built up over the years. They even cleaned my headlight glass for free, which was great, and made visibility during these dark wet months much better and safer. The car stayed overnight to dry, and I picked it up the next day wowed by how clean it is. They did a fantastic job! If it's in your budget to get your car detailed, do it here. If you're looking to cut corners financially, go somewhere else, but they probably won't do as good of a job. Highly recommended. read more

Jeff detailed my motorcycle and did a great job. He didn't want to do an estimate without seeing the bike because he couldn't know how dirty it was, which I thought was very responsible. I had just done a ride across the US and back, so it was pretty dirty. They took off parts to clean under them, which was great. I needed to get the bike cleaned pretty quickly so I could store it, and Jeff was really accomodating about meeting my scheduling needs, and even gave me a ride back to where I was staying after I dropped the bike off. read more

While visiting from out of town, I had my car window smashed to pieces, glass scattered everywhere, x-mas presents stolen and everything in my car thrown about, I needed help. I was referred to the Auto Salon at Leschi by a friend who is an auto mechanic. They were prompt, courteous and VERY helpful. They called a glass company that came to their location to replace my window. Gave me a ride locally and dropped the car off when fininshed. Meanwhile they expertly detailed the interior of my car. Jeff and crew truly helped make the best of a bad situation. They accomplished all of this on a tight time schedule allowing me to make a local appointment and drive home with a sparkling clean interior and new window in place. read more

I just picked up my car, a 2001 Camry, and it looks great. Spectacular. I was amazed when I saw it. Hand waxed, it looked better than it did when it was new. Most of the nicks and scratches had been rubbed away.The interior was spotless, everything deep cleaned and fabric guarded. I had been thinking of buying a new car, just because my old Camry, with only 80,000 miles was really dirty, inside and out, due to 12 years of spilled food, dogs, and general neglect. It was an embarassment. I thought it would be fun to get a cute Beetle or Mini, but when I tried one out, I realized my old Camry was really a luxury vehicle.- quiet, comfortable, and easy to handle. With only 80,00 miles, it would last the rest of my life. Why get a new car-- wasn't there something called detailing? My mechanic recommended the Auto Salon at Leschi. I took it in and let Jeff look it over. He is very professional, and his shop is spotless and the waiting room is clean, warm and comfortable, and even has some great magazines to read. He walked me around the car, analyzed all the dents and scratches and on the outside and said he could clean the interior so it would look as good as new. This morning I called this business to ask if they cleaned interior only. My friend needed her seat cleaned before the holiday, they said they really didn't want to do a simple job like that it wasn't really worth their time, although they would do it and charge 50 for an hour rate. When she showed up they told her to go to brown bear or make an appointment. The men seemed as though our business wasn't worth their time. I called them back to let them know how upsetting the miscommunication was as I had my friend drive all the way there to be turned away. An hour later I received 5 text messages to my personal cellular phone with harassing texts about how I clearly didn't know what detailing meant. Although we only wanted a seat clean not a full detail. Horrible business in my opinion, low class communication and harassment.. Glad we didn't waste or time or money at this low class place. I thought I'd paste their texts to me. Leschi: We set the standard for ultra high quality automotive reconditioning in Seattle. There is no one better than us. If you knew anything about detailing you wouldn't be calling a professional. I asked them to please stop texting and harassing me and please not contact me again. . They proceeded over three hours And I took screen shots of the texts w my phone for proof, Leschi: For what? Offering you a great service? When you contact them make sure you tell them the part where you & your friend got confused about making an appointment first & whether we were going to just clean the seat or you whole interior. We mainly do Full Services & were just trying to help you out lady. We do not need your business. I was just trying to make a point. And who is harassing? You called me! Please do not contact our establishment again. As seen below the business is now trying to cover up and rearrange the story to fit their behalf, bottom line was 50.00 cleaning a seat wasn't worth their time. An hours worth of labor is an hours worth of labor Whether its cleaning the seat or the floor... The owner Jeff, apparently has an issue with women and thinks it's okay to belittle and also send texts messages to your personal line... This establishment is a very poor example of a worth local business, I would take my business elsewhere gladly. No way to fabricate this. read more

I would highly recommend Leschi Auto Salon to anyone considering an auto detail for their car. Jeff took great care and attention to detail (no pun intended) on my wife's newer BMW 328xi. The dealership delivered the car, which had deep swirl-marks and in the paint. Amazingly enough, Jeff was not only able to take out the swirl marks, but take care of a few scratches. He is very thorough in looking the car over and sharing his opinion on what would be best. My perception is that most detail shops offer the Regular, Deluxe or Platinum detail job, but Jeff takes a little more pride in his work by making sure he addresses everything at an individual level and his prices are extremely reasonable for the amount of work spent on the detail. My wife and I have been clients of Jeff's (the owner) for a few years. Jeff and his staff always make our cars look like they just came off the showroom floor. They pay attention to all of the details and the result is that your vehicle looks exquisite. They can easily remove any blemish from the finish. A bonus has always been that they will always do their best to fit a regular customer in for a hand wash of his or her vehicle on short notice. I took my son's car in to have it detailed-mainly I wanted to get a persistent stain out of the front seats. These guys did a fabulous job! Jeff explained the whole procedure to me, and the car was finished earlier that promised and the interior is squeaky clean! I am the owner of a 12-year old Volvo and 3 and 5 year old boys which should give you a clue about the condition of my car when I brought it to Auto Salon. I was cautiously optimistic when Jeff told me he could get all of the stains out of my light grey cloth upholstery, yet hopeful. Picked up my car today and was literally in shock when I saw it. Not a stain remains on the upholstery. Long key scratch on my car door vanished. Exterior bumps and bruises have all been color corrected. Last time we used an auto-cleaning service, they didn't do a great job and the car stunk like carpet cleaner for weeks afterwards. At the auto salon, they did a great job and, most importantly, the car didn't stink afterwards! They even got out the dead fly that somehow got into the instrument gauges and was hanging out by the speedometer for a year or so before I took it in. They somehow took out and cleaned compartments that I didn't know could be taken out and cleaned. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is that Yelp, in its infinite wisdom, is blocking 19 other 5 star reviews as being "fake." Unfortunately (fortunately?) I wanted to do something nice for my husband's birthday. Auto Salon at Leschi managed to get us in and finished an outside/inside detail job in one day--just in time for the birthday surprise. I have a four year old and Jeff was great about providing us a bit of shuttling around to and from our home. I don't know anything about detailing but it was a job very well done. My husband was so shocked and impressed by his car that he cleared out our garage so we can now park inside it, (Jeff had made it clear that outdoor parking would put more wear on the outside of the vehicle). My car is absolutely gorgeous! And it has stayed that way without a single wash since I picked it from the salon in July, 2015. I have driven over the mountains to eastern Washington twice since then - the only thing that needs cleaning is the windshield. That's saying something incredibly good, since I usually need to wash my car every weekend for my own mental health. When I first called the Auto Salon to schedule an appointment, the first thing Jeff said was that they were a "low volume" business. To anyone who was listening as I was, that would mean very few cars per week, and high quality, attention to detail, work. That's exactly what occurred. And exactly what Jeff promised I would get from his business. They went above and beyond what was initially promised, checking with me first of course, but not adding to the price in any way - that's service! Yes, Jeff is a business man with very high standards, in a business with very few people that can perform the quality of work he insists on providing his customers on a consistent basis (possibly - I don't know this for sure I'm just speculating). So my take was that his scheduling was conservative for a low volume business to provide the highest quality service and product without under-delivering on his expectations of the final outcome of the product. It really doesn't matter to me how many 1 star people are on here. They did beautiful work and finish on my BMW and I thank them for that! I'm saving money not needing to wash my car so often, which by the way will be done by them as well. read more

I had an unbelievable accident in my car. It was a disastrous mess and it reeked. I was sure the smell would never come out and pretty sure there would be stains. And of course I needed it cleaned asap. The guys at Auto Salon at Leschi were professional, up-front, honest, and knowledgeable. They explained their process, worked extremely quickly, and were very friendly. They made a point to make sure I was comfortable in their waiting room - excellent customer service. This is the first time I've ever given a review on Yelp. But I had to take a moment and let others know what a great job Jeff and his guys did on my Land Rover. I actually brought two 10+ year old cars to them for a full interior/exterior detail this week. One was silver and one was black. They did a great job on the silver one, but it's kind of hard to see the shine on silver. On the black one, though, I was amazed! It looked like a brand new car, both inside and out. It was literally shocking. Needless to say, I'm an extremely happy customer. The price was reasonable, scheduling was quick and easy, and the service was exceptional. Recently purchased a new Triumph Street Triple R motorcycle. After 1,000 miles of riding, desperately needed a thorough wash and detail. I live in a high rise, and don't have the infrastructure to do the wash myself. I searched online for detailing shops and found Jeff's Auto Salon at Leschi. Checked out their pictures of other details, and gave Jeff a call. He told me to drop off the bike between 8AM-6PM, and I brought it in the next day. When I got there, Jeff took the time to show me the products, techniques, and works in progress. His passion for his work and attention to detail blew me away. I picked up my bike the next day, and I couldn't believe the level of shine and sparkle it had. I kid you not, the bike looked 10 times better than the day I got the keys from the dealership. The following weekend I rode 200 miles, and it's as if the bike had a giant protective bubble around it deflecting all of the dirt and bugs. I highly recommend Jeff and his team. Auto Salon at Leschi's performance could only be described as superb; possibly the closest to perfection that I've ever seen in the detailing business. It started out when I called the business as I was in search of a new detailer (my old detailer's performance was beginning to fall apart while the prices stayed the same). Immediately, Jeff Gopal was very inviting and friendly describing the different aspects of his services and how their techniques set them apart from the competition; and man was he right. Never have I had such a clean car! Their detailing team restored it to showroom new. Before when I went to other detailers, I could always see missed spots or parts of my car that I would have paid more attention to. Jeff surprised me with his keen sense of detail. He actually reviews every car before it goes back to the owner which was really impressive to me! Not only was the quality of the workmanship excellent, it also took almost exactly as much time as Jeff said it would. Most detailing shops that I've had experience with have been unsure at best at predicting the time to do their work and usually it took them too long in my opinion to do the needed work. The prices at Auto Salon are a little higher than most, but I can assure you that the services I received were worth every extra penny that I spent! Since my first detail there, I have gone back over 3 times to receive their premium detail (highly recommended). This is the best detail shop I've been to, and I'd be crazy to go anywhere else after experiencing this kind of service! read more
