I will update this review again once everything has been completed and I can accurately speak to the final outcome. I would not recommend Houston Auto Sales based on my experience. We purchased a 2022 Tesla Model 3 on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, and had to return it the very next day, September 3, because the speaker/audio system was not working properly. We were then told it could take two to three weeks to get the vehicle repaired. What makes this especially frustrating is that we literally had the vehicle for one day. We asked about a rental or loaner and were told they do not provide one, leaving us without the vehicle we just purchased while it is being repaired. When my son returned the Tesla, he was also instructed to unlink himself from the vehicle in his Tesla account, something I didn't even learn about until afterward and was not given a clear explanation for. The overall experience has been unnecessarily inconvenient. We even had to arrange and pay for our own Uber just to get to the dealership to pick up the vehicle when we purchased it. I understand this is a used vehicle and that unexpected issues can happen. My problem is how the situation has been handled after the sale. When someone purchases a vehicle and has to bring it back the very next day for a problem, I expect the dealership to go above and beyond to minimize the inconvenience. Instead, we're potentially without a vehicle we just purchased for two to three weeks, with no loaner or transportation assistance. Customer service isn't just about making the sale -- it's also about how you take care of the customer when something goes wrong afterward. Based on our experience so far, I cannot recommend Houston Auto Sales. I hope management steps up and makes this situation right.

Their staff clearly needs more training…read more I called them early in the morning, initially asking if a vehicle on their property that I was interested in (and which was still listed on their website) was still available for a PPI inspection. I clearly specified the year, make, model AND trim. The person I spoke with on the phone confirmed that it was indeed still available for inspection, and could be looked at during any of their open office hour times. With that confirmation in mind, I then placed a $200+ order with a PPI inspection company to schedule an appointment. Hours later I heard back from the PPI inspector who had arrived at the dealership; but with bad news --- apparently, the vehicle had already been sold, potentially days before I had even called the dealership that morning. This was despite the PPI inspector also having separately called up the dealership ahead of driving over and also confirming that the vehicle was available for an inspection that day. All said and done, I may ultimately have wasted a couple of hundred dollars needlessly on an inspection that wasn't even possible to take place in the first place. Motors on Wheels needs to train their staff better to confirm that their vehicles are in fact available for inspection when requested, as well as drop their listings from their website once they're sold. Having potential customers needlessly waste their money on impossible inspections is a senseless waste of money that could be easily prevented with better safeguards and training. If the dealership can't ensure against simple issues like this, I can't help but wonder what other sorts of issues exist at their dealership that aren't as readily visible. I unfortunately cannot recommend this dealership.
