Paid to use the self service bay. Water came up, but the selector for various modes did not work. Consequently there was no soap for the brush, just five dollars spent for a seven minute rinse of my car. Went to the office and told the attendant I had just spent five dollars for a rinse job, nothing worked properly in the bay. He just reached into the till and handed me a five dollar bill while remarking "Sounds about right." I said it sounds like you don't intend to fix this, and he replied "You got it." I suggested he perform a nearly impossible act on himself, took the five, and walked out of the office. He followed me out challenging me to a fight. He looked to be in his 20's or early 30's and about 6' tall. I'm 78. Takes real courage to fight an old man. Based on my experience I cannot recommend this place to anyone. read more

The soap to water ration is way way off. Too much soap and far too little rinse. Left streaks over the entire car. Soap never rinsed off the back window and just ran down. All in all a terrible experience and certainly not worth the money. Side mirrors show zero sign of having been thru the wash. Stay away. read more

This car wash is the worst I have ever seen! The owner you can not reach and the employees are idiots! I had to call the police on them today because they would not give me money for a soaped up car in a bay that stopped working. They blamed me for the problem and then baited me to get upset then threatened me to leave the property. When in the heck did the customer become wrong! They should be run out of Topsham, Maine as we do not need filth like this in the neighbor. I have reported them to Better Business Bureau. They have a report on file with Topsham Police Department and want to thank the lady officer that stood while I finished rinsing my car. I figure in the last few months due to faulty equipment etc... the owner owes me 2 automatic washes and several bay washes as you can not add money and get charged twice. read more

Unfortunately, every time I go to this car wash, the equipment I attempt to use is broken. And while the people there are easy enough to deal with when I can find someone, it's a hassle to never get what I'm paying for. No water pressure many times, never any spray soap, a few times no water at all (discovered only after I've swiped my card and the meter is running). Broken vacuums. No one around to refund vacuum issues. I try not to go there now, but every once in a while, give it another chance, only to wonder why I bothered...nothing ever gets fixed! When I returned home after getting a $13 basic wash I noticed numerous black streaks running across the hood of my small white SUV. It took some scrubbing to get these out but there was no serious damage. I called Auto Shine a total of 3 times but got only voice mail, which was not returned. I sent an email that was not returned after a week. I was only requesting a refund. I cannot imagine how any company can stay in business with this lack of concern for its customers, and I truly hope they are not in business much longer! read more

I went to the 'Brush" wash. 2 men soap sprayed the panels of the car & then I went into the 'wash'. It never wetted,soaped or totally rinsed the car. There was still soap & loose grit on the car & the windows & top were dry. When I complained that the car had not been washed, I was told I got the basic wash($13.) and that is what I got. I wish I could give 0 stars. This place is absolute trash. The touch free wash was out of soap (????) with no warning before I paid. I paid full price for a machine to essentially just spit water on my car, which was still filthy when I left. I've tried to call about this problem but no ones answered, and they have not returned my message on the machine about this issue. They need serious repairs or a serious overhaul or something. This place ripped me off today! I paid $16 for the whole shebang in the touch less car wash...when I got home, I noticed dirt all over the right side of my car still! If that wasn't bad enough, there was white wax chunks stuck to the bottom panels and the tire wells!!!! It was stuck like barnicals are to rocks! I called them back as soon as I noticed (I literally had been there 20 min prior to calling them), and they said it was my word against theirs and there was nothing they could do. I purchased car washes at a special price and they were NOT honored and ended up loosing 3 car washes. Was talking with Colt, manager today asking clarification on the washes that are owed to me and he completely lost control of himself. Started yelling at me, used the "F word" several occasions and ended up yelling to me Get the "F out of here!". Definitely won't be going there anymore and will not recommend to deal with this individual as he has extremely poor people skills. Wonder how he can manage this place! read more

Don't waste your money. Go today to get car vacuumed and washed. Put 1.75 in quarters in vacuum. Doesn't work. Go to another vacuum put 1.75 in quarters doesn't work. Go to third vacuum. Put 1.75 in quarters. Works but very little suction and the head comes off. Next go to wash car myself. Machine only accepts 1 and 5 dollar bills. No more quarters because used them all attempting to vacuum my car, only have a 20.00. Go to change machine and they have a steel plate where you put the money so no change. No one around to get change from. NEVER AGAIN. They wasted my time and my money. What a rip off. read more
