More recently, they were unable to smog a late model Porsche 911 GTS bc the entire engine bay was sealed. Even though I informed them in advance when making the appointment. I show up, the tech is trying to figure out what to do. Another customer arrives, so he starts working on that car first. When done, he then tells me he can't do my car. So I then took it to a Chevron on Bascom in Campbell, CA and they did it without any problem.

We had to take our Prius in for a smog check (why though, it's a Prius!) and I called in to to make an appointment, which was easy to do. When we arrived, they told us where to position our car, asked for the DMV paperwork, and quickly went about performing the smog check. They performed it quickly, did it for a transparent fixed price (some places charge more for certain cars, including Prius's, which seems strange), and got us on our away quickly. The price was reasonable too - about $60 all in. They pointed us to some chairs where we could sit and wait while they did the test - nothing fancy, but it's good to have an option to sit. For whatever reason, smog checks are something I kind of dread, even though it's always painless. Having a local place that can do this quickly and efficiently for a reasonable price is always worth calling out.

As of today Sam (who I believe is in charge, not sure if he's the owner) has been the only contact with the shop, has had my car for twelve weeks now with nothing completed.he diagnosed the problem the first day, gave me a quote. I zelled him a deposit, enough for the part and the labor. Five weeks later he informed me that the part had arrived, it was installed but didn't fix the problem. He explained the part was poorly rebuilt and needed to be returned and we had to wait for the refund to order a different part. At this time he informed me that the shop would be closed to honor the lunar new year. This was week seven when they returned to work still waiting for the refund to show up. It's was week nine he let me know that he couldn't find the part we needed and he had used my deposit money to pay bills and dint have any left to buy the part. To continue with the repair he said I had to find the part and pay for it on top of the $2000 I'd already gave him. Week ten I found the part , paid for it. A week later the part vendor located in Germany canceled my purchase stating the war in Iran made it too expensive to ship the part" find one in your own country " he's said. So I found the part , paid again and the part arrived at the begining of week twelve. After having the part in hand and knowing I've been without a car for three months he says he'll see if he can get me scheduled at the end of the week which at best the repair will continue into week thirteen. I've asked when he actually had me scheduled for and why couldn't he schedule me sooner? This was Monday the same day as the part arrived. He didn't respond until Tuesday when he said he was working on it so I could have my car to drive on Wednesday. Wednesday I called to see how it went and he said he'll text me later with an update. It's now Thursday of that week , I asked what's up and his response was and is " for me to relax, he's working on it. Sam has been rude. He's ignored me, he's disregarded what i wanted done and did what he wanted to my car. He took money from inted for parts that he never paid for and spent it on himself or the shop bills . I then paid for the parts additionally. He wont produce any kind of invoice to keep track of spenderatures. I've requested several times . When I told him he no longer has any authorization to do any more work on my car. The next text he sent me said he was going to work on my car anyway. I told him I was picking up my car to have it ready to be towed elsewhere. I'm so mad I can't even think. To be continued

I took my BMW one morning to get brake pads and rotors changed. I had taken it to a few other places and all of them wanted me to change all the pads and rotors. Nasir was very honest and told me my rear brake pads and rotors only needed changing. He showed me the wear and tear and explained the process. I was so pleased that he took the time to actually assess my car instead of just putting on extra services. He then ordered the parts and was able to get the job done on the same day in about 1.5 hours. My car drives so much more smoothly and I can feel the difference in my rear brakes! I was so relieved and the process was SO fast! My husband took in his Civic Type R to get his fenders rolled. Nasir and Bilal did a great job with that whole process and he got his car back the same day. He also had his rear brake pads done and was pleased with the entire service. The prices are quite affordable and fair- and most importantly they only do what is necessary. Overall as good of an experience for a smog test as I could ask for. Parking The intangibles for me are parking. There are a few spots to the side though they may not be needed. If you call ahead, he does a good job spreading things out. Layout The other thing is flow. The gas pumps aren't too far from where you go to do the smog check, so if someone is at a certain pump, it's slightly more complicated. You just pull up and he'll bring it around so the angle is right. Fortunately I arrived when no one was at the pumps, so I pulled in straight. I don't know the going rate anywhere else but for me, it was totally worth the value in saved time.

Today I needed to go and came around 440 pm to queen smog to get a needed smog for my 4Runner which I have brought it before twice and it's taken 10-15 minutes max. I pull up and address the employee very nicely and state hello sir, not even a greeting back just states " you know what time it is ?" . I responded stating yea I got off work late to come straight here. He responds " we close at 5, come earlier , u have dinosaur car it takes 30 minutes " . This is where I get a little upset bc in what world does a smog take 30 minutes? Please tell me ? And then to tell me to come earlier ... and then I state why are you telling to come earlier. Then he keeps repeating you have a Dino car over and over and states he is not gonnna do overtime bc he still has close the books .... What a joke. Owner of this smog place pls train your employee on correct customer service. I am hoping for a response back.
