Best value for a true brushless car wash. For an exterior wash, this is the place to go. Pricing is competitive. There's only 3-4 guys working, so it does take a bit longer to cycle cars, but if you have the patience, it's totally worth it vs. going through an automated drive through car wash where the brush can scratch your paint or rip off aftermarket parts. read more

Review is for car wash only Steps: Pay for the car wash inside the gas station. Give the receipt to the person before you enter the car wash. Pull all the way up (they'll direct you) and turn your car off. Stay in your car while it's being soaped/washed OR sit in the plastic chairs outside. After 5 mins or so, you'll pull up a little more for the air dry portion (it's short). Pull outside and park near the dumpster for the hand towel dry. After another 10 mins, do a quick inspection. They're happy to go back over any spots you find. Don't forget to tip! You can give it directly to them or put it in the wooden tip box. Drive away with a clean car and a smile. read more

Do not spend your money on Giliberto's car wash here. I paid $50 for the Works wash, and when I got back in my car it was still dirty. The seat still has sand in them in between and I let the guy know and he used Windex and sprayed the Windex on my leather. And when I talk to Gilberto and told him look, I paid $50 for this and you guys did not do a good job. He pretty much shrugged his shoulders and walked away from me. This is the place I go to for gas and sometimes for car wash. I'm very satisfied with the car wash as I hardly have time to get it washed by hands and usually go to the drive through car wash and the inside of my car would become so dirty with dust and dirt. Even though it's not as detailedly cleaned since it's only takes half an hour to wash, it's very reasonable for the price as I know detailed cleaning costs several hundreds of dollars and takes several hours to clean. Also, in the past I had come to the auto shop to remove a couple of nails in my tires and the price was very reasonable and they were fast to fix the tires. read more

I've given this place so many chances because they used to be a good value for the money but in the past few years they've deteriorated to really awful. I tried their $50 high end wash and they missed tons of spots, didn't dress places, left places unwashed, and didn't even bother to try on others. For $50 I was really disappointed. The owner was cool enough to let me go through a 2nd time but I was left with the same frustrated experience. If you wash a car twice in 2 days, shouldn't you be able to get the spots you missed the first time? NOPE!!! To frustrated to deal w it so I left unsatisfied. I went back again today. I went down to the $25 wash w low expectations and those were not met even. Whole center dash ignored, tires not dressed per advertisement (is ignored), and spots on spots missed again. OK, this was an experience a few years ago. I was biking in the area and and my tire was flat and wanted to use their air. I didn't have money with me, and the Indian dude at the cashier insisted that he wouldn't give me air unless I buy some number of gallons of gas. Fine, he may have a right to refuse me free air. But I wouldn't want to come back here ever again. Thanks to the Chevron down the same street near Foothill Expressway lets people use their air for free, I could safely continue to ride my bike! read more

They did a good job washing my car, and the price was very good. I came on a weekday during the day and there wasn't much of a wait. Only wish is that there was a nice place to sit while I wait, but it was no big deal. They vacuumed and cleaned the door sills, etc. They also told me my car really badly needed to be waxed, but I don't have the time to do it and don't know where to get it done! read more

You get what you paid for. It's a hidden gas station with a hanger in the back. Drive in / nod at the guy sitting inside / he jesters you to pull forward / two more guys show up and start pressure washing and squirting soap / listen to hose and arms smacking into your car / they tell you to pull forward under the blow dryer / drive through quickly because they don't want you to linger / pull up outside and tell dude the package you want / they start wiping with dirty rags from their pile in the corner / pay and tip / leave / arrive at new location to inspect and find residual bird poop. Save the money and go do a touchless drive thru wash instead. You'll get comparable results. read more

This is a review about the Mechanic, NOT the car wash or gas station. They are all seems nice people (also the owner) however the mechanic over charged me for oil change. He quoted one price and than asked for addition $50 for basic oil change because I asked for specific oil. He said the reason is that the oil I asked for cost $16 a qt. However I called local close by car stores and the oil cost was $10... He also never showed me a receipt for how much he paid even when I asked for one. I will not go there again! The previous mechanic who I worked with, his name was John, was good and I have trusted him - He is not there any more. read more

Sketch!!! The people here are incredibly pleasant, so I can see why they would have so many great reviews, but their ethics are not so great. The check engine light went on in my car. I took it to my mechanic who told me that the catalytic converter was showing signs of age, but it did not need to be replaced right away. He reset the light, gave me a quote and told me to come back in when the light came back on. I got my DMV renewall form and needed a smog check to renew. My check engine light came on, but I didn't have time to go to my mechanic before the smog check. I went to Homestead 76 for my smog check. THEY drove my car up to the test machine ran all the tests and charged me the full smog check fee. ALL of the emissions were not only below the legal limits, but way below the legal limits AND even the average test. My car failed simply because the check engine light was on, which they knew before beginning the actual test... shady and TERRIBLE customer service!!! They then asked me if I wanted a quote for the repair. I already knew I wasn't going to have the work done there, because I am happy with my mechanic, but since I was there, thought I might as well get a quote. THERE QUOTE WASTHREE TIMES AS MUCH AS THE MECHANIC I HAVE BEEN GOING TO FOR YEARS!!!! The people are very pleasant, and can make you feel at ease, but that is the way conmen work. It's right by the freeway and near my house, but I won't even buy gas there anymore. read more

What I like the most about him was that he was able to be straight forward with me and He didn't talk to me like a clueless woman like every other Mechanic would. Service was awesome. My car was in the shop for a day to get the O2 sensor and the Catalyc converter changed. My car runs great since I've taken it to his shop. The owner of the shop works on his 1972 Catalac out in front. If you get the chance to talk to him you should. He's really cool to talk to. read more

The only reason why this gas station is getting 2 stars is because the gas is actually cheaper than the other gas stations within the surrounding blocks, and with 76 gas, you know you are getting quality gas. also the location is pretty convenient since its close to highway 85 and 280 HOWEVER The two times i've gotten my car serviced here, the people were really rude and both times i ended up just walking out (which i've never done at any other service place) because they made it seem like they were too busy with other things and didn't want to have any more business because they were full. also, there was this one time i needed help pumping air into my tires, but because of my bad back i asked them if they could help me. and the guy just looked at me and was like yeah you can do it yourself. it was really rude and this had never happened at any other gas station like i said. The 76 off el camino and el monte (no i'm not a worker there) are SO MUCH better and i always get A+ quality service from them; it amazes me how 2 different gas stations from the same company could be so different. read more

David quickly diagnosed the problem: a rusted line that needed to be replaced...but none of the local Subaru dealers had the part. Cesar found the part needed at the local Pick-and-Pull, and replaced the rusted line with a used one in good shape -- and he did so in a short time at a very reasonable charge. I had to stop and get gas on my way back fro a picnic and I realized that I needed to get my car washed for an event that night. I usually go to The car wash on grape ave, but seeing how the price was cheaper I figured I would give it a try. I recommend using the 11.99 option, since the guys working there do all the actual work. It took about the same amount of time to wash like Lorzano, but it was better in the sense that they detailed my car for a fraction of the price. 4-star for service and convience -1 star for initial confusion of who was cashier. read more

Car wash service is awful. I was told because I had some mud on the undercarriage that I would need to pay $30 on top of the $25 that I already paid. Definitely won't be coming back here. Very rude employees. If you have even a slightly muddy vehicle, go somewhere else. read more

Too bad:( After I filled gas, the screen only print out gas amount. I was unaware of car washer ($24.99-$1) until I printed our receipt. I immediately asked for correction but I was told they could not unless I went there weekday again:( I went there fill gas after done that screen displayed gas prices. when I printed out my receipt (Most of the time I did not ask for a receipt). Surprisingly I found receipt included additional care wash as ($24.99-$1.00). I immediately asked a receptionist to remove the car washer charge. but she told me she can't do it without her boss approve. She said he boss only work Monday and Friday. She said it was my own fault to accept car washer and nobody else made the same mistake :( She suggested why not just washed the car. That's is not the point. I hate any charge without my agreement. I told her I immediately asked for correction as soon as I realized it was a mistake. But she said she can do nothing until his boss back next Monday. ed the gas.
