After inspecting my car, I was quoted approximately $1,500 for pads and rotors on all four wheels. Since that was a significant expense, I wanted to get a second opinion before committing to the repair. At that point, I was told I owed $50 for the inspection. My frustration is not with charging a diagnostic fee itself, but with the fact that it was never discussed beforehand. Had I been informed of the fee when I scheduled the appointment, I could have made an informed decision. Transparency about costs upfront is important, and unfortunately that was missing from my experience.

Manager Mario was dismissive and rude today, refusing any accountability and demanding another $600 to fix his own failed work. The Math: I went to a competitor who replaced the entire system and did an oil change for $450 total. Ledgewood wanted $600 for just one pipe. They are charging a 150% markup on parts that don't last. Even their own website is currently filled with complaints about the police being called and poor service. As a local business owner, I am appalled by this lack of ethics. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Someone wrote on their page they went there with a coupon and gave a bad review. Since Ledgewood Car Care doesn't offer coupons, that person got mixed up with another place. I have been taking my vehicles here for over 10 years. They are knowledgeable and don't try and sell me other services. If I do need something that I am unaware of they print out a form to let me see it and make up my mind if I want it or not. I trust these guys with my life! My wife goes there and even a few of my local friends go there.
