Auto Tech Tinting has been my go-to shop for window tinting for years. They're super responsive, fast, and reliable. I just had my Tesla Model Y Performance tinted by them, and the result is great. The car came with tint on the rear passenger windows from the factory, and I wanted to tint the front windows to match. They suggested the right shade (25%) to match the rears and had it done in a little over an hour. Highly recommended!

So I thought... it's actually the first *true* all-around, bc Auto Tech is the first shop to take the time to tint both small window panels by the front side view mirrors. If you have a VW Golf, put your had up by the dash and touch the window, it's reallyyyy tight, and amazing how well it turned out! Super clean. As close to perfect as it gets.

Hey there to all of my fellow Yelp family fans...Have I got another awesome discovery for you guys to follow and I hope you like this post. If you are a lover of your vehicle whether it's an automobile, mini van, or truck, etc...we all know that proper care is a must...I recently acquired a new (used) automobile that was in need of a little TLC! One of the items that needed attention was the old window tint...you see, the original tint from previous owners was looking pretty bad and it started to peel away from the edge of the car's window. I decided to freshen up the appearance of my automobile by having each door windows and the moon roof installed with new tint. Steven is your best friend when it comes to getting the best advice and the best price when it comes to your vehicle's investment. Steven will negotiate with you about the final price which includes removal of the old tint plus installation of your new tint. And a word of advice...cash is king for negotiating a new deal. Steven and his team are very professional and they are very knowledgeable about their craft. Plus they are very quick and qualified for this type of work! Just take a look at the snapshots from the work they recently performed on my automobile. You cannot go wrong with Auto Tech Tinting...in fact Steven mentioned that I have been his customer for over 15 years...that says a lot about his experience in the automotive industry! read more

This is my third car that I've tinted with Steven - and after all these years, his attention to detail and customer service are still top notch! Saw lots of repeat reviews, inspected their work in person. I was quoted $700, which seemed high, but I didn't mind paying for good work. Unfortunately, they redid the work 8x before eventually refunding me. Each time they were dragging their feet and telling me I'm "looking too close", or "this is normal for aftermarket tint" (basically deflection), even though I am seeing flaws visible from the driver seat. The person doing the installs did not speak English, and the English speaking manager often unavailable to translate. The car was repeatedly returned with scratches on the drivers window in the same spot by the A pillar, they repeatedly blamed my car's design, and said it's because they didn't take the door frame apart, which takes too long. I pointed out the contradiction that they are taking even longer by redoing the work over and over. They would repeatedly tell me things like I need to come back in an hour and not leave my car there all day, and then when I would come back in an hour, they would tell me they messed up and need to start over. Basically, just wasting my time over and over. Repeatedly exceeding their own estimates and returning the car with flawed work. When I went back at the end and requested a refund, they spent over 20 minutes going back-and-forth, offering me a partial refunds and trying to talk me into letting them re-attempt the work. They told me business is slow and complained about losing money . Then they refused to give the refund after initially agreeing, claiming that I "lost the receipt". I had to repeatedly threaten a credit card dispute, and pointed out I am being generous by offering to let them take the tint back and giving them multiple opportunities to avoid the credit card dispute fees. The manager than "miraculously" found the receipt on the top of a pile of yellow invoices, and said "that's weird, the customers are supposed to take the yellow invoices" (this is clearly a manipulation tactic to avoid giving refunds). At the end of the day they let me keep the tint and gave me a refund, so I'll give them 2 stars instead of 1. It would be 3+ if they didn't try to refuse the refund, gaslight me, and waste my time. They would have had plausible deniability if they professionally and immediately took the tint off and refunded me, instead they pulled the curtain back on their little "hustle" of overcharging $700, under-delivering with scratches and bubbles, and under-staffing with less experienced non English speaking workers, over-staffing with managers for dealing with unhappy customers. At least I got free tint, probably intended as a "soft bribe" to avoid bad reviews, but people deserve to know! read more

I showed up without an appointment, and they beautifully tinted my Subaru Forester (7 windows) in 3 hours! I chose not to tint the two smaller panel windows at the front of my car because it was going to be an extra $30, but when I returned to pick up my car, the owner had tinted them and didn't charge me extra. I highly recommend this place. They are professionals and have been doing this for a long time. I originally had all my windows tinted here with 3M because of the lifetime warranty. They were done quickly and the windows look amazing on my car. I came back again just last week because I had my back passenger car window smashed on a Sunday morning. I called in and they said to come by first thing in the morning Monday. I came in and they had the tint replaced in under 15 minutes! It was incredibly fast and of great quality. This was one of the best auto service experiences that I've had in a very long time. I was the first customer in the shop on Saturday and I was out in less than 1 hour (without an appointment). The owner explained the difference between the tints and made recommendations. He gave me a great deal on the pricing "just because" ( I waited maybe 5 minutes for him to get to the office). Steve was a pleasure to work with. One of the few who does tint removal and is what brought me to his shop. I just bought a used car with a poorly done rear window tinting that had bubbles and much too dark to see through with an automatic dimming rear view mirror at night. Had Auto Tech remove it carefully without damaging the rear defroster wires. Picked the car up at the agreed to time and for a reasonable cost he spent a couple of hours on. Thanks read more

I called the day prior and asked about coming in at 10:00 on Sat. The team safely greeted me and talked about the tint on the rear windows and what we could put on the fronts. Rear windows were at 17% and decided on 25% for the fronts. Came back 45 min later and the job was done and I was out in under an hour. Awhile back I took my 2018 mustang to Auto and I can honestly say that it turned out great. All the workers are friendly and reasonable. They tinted my windows and completed it at the expected time that they said it'll be finished. I've now had my windows tinted for about 2 months and it still looks amazing! Recently, I went back to Auto and I asked if they could add racing vinyl stripes on my mustang. They accepted it. I've already had the items with me, they simply helped me to install them. Vincent and his co-workers, they took the time to accomplish this and made sure to take their time for better results. It was worth the wait. In the end, I was glad to see how awesome it turned out, because they did a fantastic job! I totally recommend coming to auto if you want your windows tinted. You will have the best results. Steven and crew is the go to place for Auto tinting, I've been going here for years for all of my cars and in 5+ years I've not had any issues with the tints! They give you a variety of choices and I always choose the 3M option, it really gives the car an amazing look and also keeps a good amount of heat out when in direct sunlight. Call ahead and make an appointment, usually takes 1-2 hours of work, the spot is small and tight so make sure to have an appointment. read more

Came here because of the amazing yelp reviews. Got amazing car service as expected. I came here to get my windows tinted yesterday, 5 windows. I had a hard time choosing which tint color to put on my car. Luckily the men at Auto Tint where nice and professional and helped out. The finished product looked amazing and professional. Only took 2 hours. Note: I called the day before and was able to squeeze in an appointment the next day Overall the people working there were good and friendly. To me, this is place is a hidden gem. Not all places will remove tint jobs but Auto Tech does. I bought a used car with an old tint job that had become opaque and dangerous at night. Made an appointment a couple days in advance, dropped it off when they asked me to, and it was done on time and professionally. Couldn't ask for more and car looks good restored to the stock tint. Glad to know there are still some professional shops out there doing solid work. Highly recommend. read more

AWESOME! Auto Tech Tinting is the only place I will go to for tinting. Was recommended by my dad that swears on this place. I'm glad I made the right choice by bringing my BMW here for tinting. Needed Privacy and Style. Especially when you're driving at night and those douches in the back turn on their high beam. I feel more confident now that my car is stylish and with more privacy too. Most of the jobs were for full PPF + ceramic coating of new vehicles, but they've also performed a couple of non-PPF paint correction, detailing, and ceramic coating work on well-used vehicles not eligible for PPF. In all cases, California Detailing produced fantastic results that made the new cars look better than they were at dealer delivery and the well-used vehicles look as close to new as possible. For vehicles that we've subsequently sold, California Detailing's attentive work helped protect their resale value. Even when we don't have big jobs pending, we drop by their shop a few times a year for installation inspections and touch-ups (no charge during PPF or ceramic coating warranty period). In addition to being skilled professionals, California Detailing also have great customer service that easily makes my family and me feel at home during our visits. Drove directly to Jet Black, spoke to Alejandro and made an appointment for April 5 to have my car's windows tinted. I asked if April 5 (Easter Sunday) would be a problem, "Are you sure you'll be open for business?" Alejandro: "Oh yes, I'm pretty sure we're open, I'll double check, if not I'll move your appointment to April 4 and call you." I never heard from him but on April 2 I called to confirm, was told they would be open on April 5. On April 4, I called one last time to confirm my appointment for April 5 and once again, was assured that they would be open. April 5, drive to Jet Black and find a business that was very much closed. Called their number and was told by Marcel, "This location is closed today." I became irate, expressed my frustration and was told that "lashing out" at him was not helping matters. True, it did not help, it wasn't Marcel's fault after all. Marcel assured me he would note my frustration and "pass it along to management." Oh goody. That really does me a great amount of good. Especially since I've arranged my day around this appointment. So I ask you, what should I have done? I did my due diligence. Called several times to confirm they'd be open, was told repeatedly they would be. WTF

Now looking at it there is a crease on the window they fixed, again bubbles on the windows they fixed already. Rear windshield tint is bubbling around the defrost lines, front windshield has lines in it. I took it to another shop and they told me it's a crappy job, and cheap material. Hard to see because of the reflection, but if you want your tint to look like crap bring your car here.

The staff at M Car Window Tint were super friendly and informative. The garage is decently big, can accommodate 3-4 cars. The small office has a small couch and you can get water while waiting. They also offer red bulls and sodas, but you do have to pay for those. The tint job for 2 front windows and the windshield took around 1-2 hours, which was super quick. They were very efficient and professional. My one issue was that there were some left over residue from the application of the tint, but I can overlook that since it was completed fairly quick and it was easily wiped off with a towel. They accept Zelle or cash(preferred) and credit cards(there is a fee for using credit cards). Payment was super quick and simple and they email you a invoice afterwards. Overall, I was satisfied with the work that was done and so far no peeling or bubbling after 2 weeks. Definitely recommend contacting them for your tinting needs! I just purchased the brand new honda accord. and looking to get the windows tinted. Most of the place that I shop around they need to take the door panel out that make me feel worry and uncomfortable. I call and talk to STEVEN , the super nice guy. He understand the feeling when you just got a brand new car.He insisted that he don't need to take door panel out. So I make appointment to get window tinted. They are so professional. 3 guys work on my car.It take only 1 hours 45 mins The price is more expensive than other shop.but it worth for extra money. The high quality johnson films, Obviously it reduce heat A LOT even I got only 45% for all 7 window. plus no bubble at all window to bother me. Duuuuuddde. That was fast. Work was quick. They were all really nice. They smiled and all sorts of stuff compared to some other folks that just have a robotic voice and tell you to wait with a flat line smile. Left you with a good feeling that you were in good hands. Sit in the waiting room and you can check out the nostalgia. I found a magazine that was from 1999 and the couch I'm pretty sure was from "Save By the Bell". They told me they would finish in an hour and a half. No no no. It was more like an HOUR! Good job guys! Really quick work. I really do mean it. Friendly, Fast, Good pricing, Blast from the past. This is a good example of why you can't judge a book by its covers. I have tinted all the cars I have ever purchased due to the heat where I live. I work in the city and pass by this shop everyday to work but never thought of entering due to the appearance of the shop. One day I just was so sick of the heat I decided to try this shop. To my surprise, I received excellent service, and as anal and picky as I am, Steven, the salesperson, was very helpful and even worked around my schedule to get the job done. PLACE SUCKS! my tint came out with alot of bubbles. no joke. front 2 were ok but the back seat n rear came out horrible. especially the rear window bubbles everywhere. that was fine but when i got there my door didnt close. note that my car is new. wheni asked them they tried to blame it on the car. ITS A NEW CAR HELLO! so they fixed the door but they kept on slamming the door over n over again. its a new car... not the same ever again.. they didnt care one bit. i was so pissed. so PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP .. if you do YOU WILL REGRET. ridiculously awesome guys. took in my m3 for tinting -- great work! courteous service, honest advice and quick turnaround. a couple of days in, i had a small bubble form near the very bottom edge of the driver's side window (likely due to the fact that the window slides up and down automatically when you open and close your door). vincent met me AT HIS HOUSE at 8PM on a weeknight and fixed the bubble. i've never seen people so dedicated to their customers with such a sense of pride and ownership of their work. every car i get is going to get tinted here. read more

Just had my 3rd car tinted by these guys, a 2014 MB E350 Wagon - came out perfect. the 2 previous cars were a 2011 MB E350 wagon and a 2009 BMW 535xi.
