I'm so glad I chose to go to Jim! Jim is very friendly and professional and the job he did was exceptional. His pricing is also extremely reasonable. I took my car in to replace the tint on my driver and passenger side windows, due to damage that had recently occurred on my factory tint on the drivers window. Originally, we discussed doing both windows so they would match, but he did the drivers window first and masterfully matched the other window and ultimately said that there was no need to do the other. He is very honest and not interested in trying to charge you more to do work that didn't end up needing to be done. He wanted to save me the extra money. He worked with great precision but very quickly and in no time he was done. Typically, during the first few days the tint has to work itself out a little but there was not even a single bubble or blur in the tint, even from the first moment the job was completed! As noted in other reviews, he also places a sticker on the window button reminding you not to roll the window down until the specified date. This certainly saved me at least once. Yes, he works out of his home but the setting was very comfortable and you know he's going to do the job right! If you don't want to leave your car there during some of the quicker tint jobs, there is a couch right there in his garage shop, that is climate controlled, and a big flat screen to watch. He even lets you control the remote while he works. He was great to talk to so we ended up chatting with him more than watching the TV. Last but not least, he was very helpful in picking out tint shades, knowledgeable on state laws, and pretty much lets you pick out whatever tint you want on your car, and he won't charge extra for darker shades. Also talk to him about his warranty, he truly stands by his work. I was referred to Auto Tint from a friend who spoke very highly of the business. I was skeptical of the work being done out of someone's garage as other customer's have stated but I couldn't be happier with my experience. The owner, Jim, is a very nice guy and his work is nothing but professional. When I arrived he explained all about the different shades of tint which was very informative. He offered to let me wait while the work was done or to pick it up afterwards which I thought was quite convenient. I had plans so I went ahead and left my vehicle with him while I went out for a few hours. He texted me not even two hours later letting me know my vehicle was ready for pick up. I couldn't believe how quickly he was able to get my car finished. I was still out and about so he allowed me to let my car sit at his place for a few hours no questions asked. When I arrived back at his house I was thrilled with the way my 2007 Ford Fusion looked. Jim then explained all that I needed to know about taking care of the tint until it fully dried. Like others have commented he put stickers over my window switches to ensure I wouldn't forget that I couldn't roll my windows down for the next 48 hours. Overall I couldn't be happier with Jim's skill and professionalism. Having him tint my car windows was one of the most enjoyable and stress free experiences I've ever had while purchasing a product and/or service. Was skeptical at first since the shop was at a residence, in a garage. When the door opened I was impressed to see a professional waiting area with desk, couch and even a big screen television. Jim worked in a very conscientious manner to get my car finished. I was impressed and that is not easy. The tint looks great and I know when inspection time rolls around I will still be street legal. That is because I was able to make an informed decision based upon Jim's assessment of the tint already in my windows from the factory. (Had I succeeded in the installation of the do-it-yourself kit originally purchased from eBay I would have been illegal so good thing I failed at that.) I would recommend this business to anyone needing their windows tinted. I had been shopping around for window tinting for quite some time, and then I happened upon all these reviews on Yelp for Jim at Auto Tint. For starters, he was very accommodating to my schedule allowing me an evening appointment. Secondly he was very helpful in the selection of the shade of tint I chose. I brought a book to read and was looking forward to sitting in the comfortable couch while he worked his magic, but found that he was such a cool guy that the conversation just flowed and the time went so fast I never even opened my book! I have a 2012 Honda Accord that I had Jim tint about a month ago. I was looking around for a decent reasonable price on tint, came across Auto Tint so I called and made an appointment. When I arrived Jim was a very nice and professional man that defiantly knew what he was talking about. He showed me the tint percentage that was legal for the state I was moving to, which was very nice of him to do. I left my car in his hands and about 3 hours later picked it up (it looked great!!) Great service, great product, great price. I am very pleased with the professional job Jim of Auto tint did on my 2013 Lexus. I was able to drop off the car on the weekend and under 3 hours, my car was ready to go. I have been to other tint shops using a Groupon coupon, and this experience has been the best. Highly recommend this co. This guy knows what he's doing and he does it in his garage where u can wait and watch it get done. He is an expert and there are no flaws.
