When I got the car back after $5500 worth of work, it didn't seem to be running quite right. I gave it a little bit and then started noticing an oil leak. I brought it back in and they reluctantly agreed to keep it to look it over. I didn't get a call back so they next day I called them and they told me "oh, we found a slipped seal so we fixed it, nothing we did wrong". Ok, cool. But my car was still not acting right and felt like it wasn't getting enough gas or power at first start up. It literally stalled on me twice when I first started it shifting into park. . I brought it back again and after convincing them to take a look at it, they told me nothing was wrong with the vehicle. They basically told me that looking over it would be a waste of their time and that the computer system takes a little while to catch up once "that much work" is done on a vehicle. Ok. Well, I guess I feel after that extensive of engine work, it should not be stalling out on me without explanation. So no, I will not be going back and will not recommend this place. Both Aman and Mike are competent, first-rate mechanics who do their jobs with rare integrity and customer care. I was referred to M.K.A by a cousin and the first time I went there was to get another opinion on a "supposed" engine oil leak on my Toyota Highlander. Mike carefully diagnosed my car and even went as far as showing me the engine proving that there was no actual leak but just not squeaky clean as my car is over 13 years old - meaning no false repair charges from Darcars and another mechanic at BP gas station where I showed Darscar's repair assessment and charges before coming to M.K.A. I have been taking my car to M.K.A for over a year now for overall maintenance and tire change. Aman has been most excellent and focused on safety, which I truly appreciate.
