Jim answered the phone and was very friendly, compared to most auto-shops who either doesn't sound happy, or sound irritated with my questions. The person who worked on my tire was also nice, showing me how the hole in the tire is too big to be repaired and that it needs a whole replacement. The only thing I did not like is how another coworker made a rude comment about me to his associate. However, Goodyear (who owns Just Tires) and Jim (manager) contacted me personally for a sincere apology. They seemed like they cared about their customers being happy and put in effort to make up the bad experience. Because of Jim's friendly service, and both Jim and Goodyear acknowledging my issue, I am giving this place 5 stars. I know businesses can't control what someone says, but it's the aftermath of how it's handled.

I didn't waste my time on an argument. Not worth my time or effort. Next gentleman tries to sell me two tires. I inform gentleman I only want the tire to be patch. I really had no clue at all that this shop is a full service Auto repair shop. I think the name on the sign and the mounds and mounds of tires throws a lot of people off I'm thinking that they only fix tires or sell used ones. I really got along with the main mechanic there, so when my car needed brakes, he was the first mechanic that came to my mind. Everyone who I had dealings with at this Auto shop exhudes honesty and genuineness. I appreciate those qualities in every business that I work with. The brakes are still perfect more than a year later. I will keep coming back to this shop for as long as I remain in the DMV area.

Problem number 1: the "complimentary inspection" was free, however them actually diagnosing the problem was a whopping $219.46. So, then the inspection was not free at all. Problem number 2: the quoted me at $2900 dollars to do the bear MINIMUM of repairs (air/fuel induction service, replacing an 02 sensor, MAF cleaning). Took it to another place, and I only needed to do ONE of those things for $300. Problem number 3: They insisted on me replacing my crankshaft main oil seal which would have cost me another $5000 dollars. Problem number 4: when I said this was way too much money for what I needed as I stated when I walked in that I only needed whatever had to be done to pass inspections and testing for registration and that I would come back to get my car, my Lyft to get there that is supposed to be paid for was not. They did pay for my one home, but not for the one back. Problem number 5: I only asked them to look at 2 specific things, the oil and my O2 issue, however they decided to also try having me pay another $10,000 in preventative maintenance services. problem number 6: They performed a service without asking me when I had clearly told them not to perform any service on my car after they provided the prices to me. However, they still performed the oil change anyway and charged me $119.95 for it. So despite me not wanting ANY service done, I still had to pay $389.53 just to get my car back and take it to another place. I simply cannot recommend this business to anyone when this is the kind of treatment and prices. If I had gone along with their business they were providing, I would've paid for more money in services than I would have just buying the car. I bought this car for $14,000. They were wanting to have me pay over $1500 more than what my car was even worth when I had purchased it. Save yourself the headache and wallet pain and go somewhere else.
