Came here on the recommendation of a neighbor. We got a screw in a tire on the van and needed a repair. $37 and that was for a professional tire repair not just a plug, rebalance the tire mount it, and put the spare back under the van which is kind of a pain in the butt. We are still pretty new to the area and we're looking for a mechanic and we found one. When you walk into this place it doesn't smell or feel like you're walking into a mechanic's shop. It really feels more like you're walking into a little coffee shop. The lobby and restroom are very clean they even have complimentary coffee and water. Cesar was extremely helpful and professional. We were able to drop the van off and the repair and everything was done with it just a couple of hours. So there I was in a pickle at the battlefield known as the DMV. My first advance was pushed back by the dreaded "two proofs of address, no registration doesn't count when you use your ID" all this for my sons permit test. They where dug in deeper then a Alabama tick. I had to retreat and secure that second proof. I was called back up, thinking I was good but my utility bill was my old SD address. In a sheer panic none like I ever experienced even in Iraq. I delayed the enemy's counter of attack of sit down and wait again or come back later. I claimed email tech issues while frantically dialing Quantico Tire & Auto Care. As the DMV rolled eyes, people waiting squirmed and the intercom kept going off adding to sensory overload. When a angel answered the phone, he calmly said I can help and send the DMV your SMOG inspection we have on file (address included). Which he did save my but like a A-10 going out of the sky when pinned down in a complex L shaped ambush. My son and I made it through the first line of defense now we wait the outcome of the test.... Most of the time customers service is great. I have went to them for a couple years now. I have gotten my brakes replaced there and had to go back and have them fix it because they were squealing still then after that they were still squealing. So I had to go to a different place to find out they put the wrong brakes on my car. Then today I needed an oil change on my truck which has never been a problem till now today when they charged us extra because they didn't have what we needed. John checked it out and after hooking my car up to the front end machine, he told me that it was within manufacturers spec and did need any adjustment. In one word... Amazing! I'm so happy I found this shop, for as long as I am in the area I will be bringing my mini here. First off I was won over by their costumer service, they were genuine, polite and more then willing to answer all my questions. The actual service of my car top notch, timely and reasonably priced. Excellent customer service, poor diagnostic and repair skills. We went for an alignment issue. After repacking a bearing then attempting an alignment, we learned we also needed tie rods, so we replaced those and $1600 and two days later we left with the exact same alignment/pulling issue we came with. Before going, I asked if they are certified mechanics (no licenses were displayed up front)--they said yes. I asked if they do truck and van repair- also yes. I think they tried but did not have the knowledge/skills to address our alignment issue. They are fine for inspections, oil change and perhaps routine maintenance, but I cannot recommend otherwise. read more

I came here to get a last minute required inspection and the experience was amazing. I called before hand and they told me to come on over since there was no wait. I got there and was helped immediately. As I was in the waiting room I over heard the man at the front desk talking to a customer who had the same issues as I did with my other vehicle. It was great to hear him say what the possibilities were but of course they would need to come in to get the diagnosis. These guys are life savers! I was in desperate need of a brake job. After getting it looked at by a different shop, they quoted me $449 for a standard brake service, too much for me. I searched around and found Quantico Tire & Auto Care, shortly after my car wouldn't start, it was a hectic week. I was able to get my car there and serviced for $143, they also checked my battery and reset it to my car to avoid it cutting out again. I called a million times and they communicated with me through every step. Its hard finding honest and reasonable mechanics, especially being a woman. Great customer service doesn't equal quality work. I went in for a balance and alignment. The customer service was great. I was made aware of my car going back to get worked on, and then the progress that was being made throughout the process. As soon as I drove off, I noticed the steering wheel wasn't straight but facing to the right going down the road. Once I took my hands off the wheel, the car immediately started drifting right. I needed the alignment because it was drifting left. When I drove it the next day, I noticed my maintenance required light was now on. That wasn't an issue before it went in. They rotated my tires, and ever since then, I've had trouble keeping air in my rear tire. My gut told me not to go, but my usual service provider was unable to do the work on a Saturday, and this place was close to my house. I'll never recommend this place. read more

Over the weekend I noticed there was a nail in my tire. I drove to the nearest Firestone and as told "it's Sunday and we close at 5 so I can put extra air and schedule you an appointment." Well, here I am in Springfield rolling around with a 22 psi tire so I have no choice but to get the extra air and head home. I couldn't find any place open on Sunday so there goes nothing. On Monday I decided to schedule an appointment at Firestone on Quantico but couldn't manage to get away from work. Long story short, I call Quantico Tire & Auto Care to schedule an appointment. I don't remember who I spoke with but he was very friendly and told me the soonest appointment would be Tuesday at 8 so I booked it. Today I arrived there on time and was quickly attended to. Caesar told me that it wouldn't be too long if they are able to just patch the tire. I decided to go for a run and return in 30-45 minutes. When I returned they were nearly done with repairing the tire. I appreciate how my car was taken into the bay at appointment time and work started almost immediately. Often times, shops book appointments and your car sit there for a while before anything get done. I also appreciate the accurate estimate time for completion. I was told that I would be called if for some reason the tire required more than a patch. This is always good to know ahead of time for expectation management. I live 5 minutes away from location and passed by numerous times but never used their services soooo... I highly recommend giving them a chance based solely on professionalism, timeliness, customer service, upfront cost disclosure, and cleanliness of the facility. The interior is modern, clean, inviting, and spacious to sit and wait if need be. Total cost was around $40 bucks, nearly $5 for the patch and the rest for labor. read more

2008 Chevy 2500HD I brought my truck for some suspension replacements. this place came highly rated by friends and online so I figured it was a safe bet. The pricing was horrible. At first everyone was professional and kind. I got the call that my truck was ready to go so I went and picked it up. The next time I was able to drive it I crawled underneath to do some more maintenance and noticed some pretty big discrepancies with the work that was performed. there was a rather large (1/-4-1/2") gap between the bottom of the castle nut and the bottom of the hub (knuckle) allowing for an inconsiderable amount of play on a moving component (upper ball joints/control arms). The alignment was off but it was still sent out anyway. There were other discrepancies but those were the major. It was as if there was a complete lack of car while installing these components. When I noticed it all I immediately called and spoke with the manager, he wanted to make it right and he was professional in dealing with the situation and a pissed off customer. I then took my truck back to have everything fixed as it should've been done the first time. upon taking my truck back home after everything was "fixed" I pull it into the garage to do some more maintenance. thank god I did. I go to pull off my driver side (plastic) wheel cap and a few of the lug nuts came with it, meanwhile, the rest of the lugs on that wheel were not torqued. I then proceeded to call the manager and express my concern (angrily) yet again only this time there was no care or professionalism given. Just the typical handling of an upset customer. read more

I can't give 0 stars DO NOT take you car to this shop broke multiple items on my truck a while back and would not fix it. Even after speaking to the manager. They have no idea what they are doing.... Then a friend of mine took his truck in and the didn't even try to tighten the bolts down just barely threaded them and stuck a cotter key in wasn't even close to tight. The truck was taken back to be fixed only tightened the nuts down and reinstalled tires and the lug nuts were not even close to tight and was missing a few that were there when the truck was taken in. I went here for the first time today to get a car inspection. Upon walking in, I was blown away by the lobby! The huge chalkboard wall is beautiful, and I couldn't stop admiring it!
