I could see it was minor sheet metal damage and was still a very good deal even with a reconstructed title. I saved about $7K off retail and plan to keep the car a long time. Everyone complaining did not do their homework and want a car with perfect history for thousands under retail. There is no such thing as free people. But if you understand cars and want a late model car for thousands less than any dealer and plan to keep it till the end this is the place. Dave even offered to buy the car back whenever I choose down the road! What moiré could I ask for? Dave helped me out with my tight schedule and drove to my work and house to get all papers signed and he even got the plates and registration all done for me. Car delivered fully detailed and clean. My wife was originally skeptical but after she saw the deal I got that changed! When she needs another car we will be back!

We called when the ball joint went on a Friday. Stayed they were closed . Daughter calls on a different phone funny Dave answers. We tell him what happened told that should be expected, and lose his number. Shame on us knew something wasn't right ,when we were ready to pick up car after financing and everything was said and done, we were told to bring our license, and 462.00 in cash. We stated "why 462.00 does the bank know about this?" No it's for the time I took on your loan. I should have told him then to take the car , and shove it up his tail pipe lol. Really not funny we've been screwed over . I love how these people can sleep at night. Honestly this place needs a full investigation. Buyer beware.T. Small

We recently purchased a truck from Tony, a 2009 Ford Ranger. It was far from an easy experience…read more The truck was paid for in cash at $12,000, however he wrote $5000 on the bill of sale. A bit sketchy, but as a small business owner myself, I understand the hefty tax bill- so whatever. Anyway, we were driving up from CT to get the truck so we had to take care of all of the registration in CT. This took much longer than necessary because Tony had 'miswrote' the vin number (also sketchy). When we picked up the truck, the tires were low and the wipers had no blades - would have been nice if he had taken care of these things, but whatever- not a big deal. Two days later the check engine light came on. Now it's been about two weeks with the truck and there are major issues costing us close to $1000 and we also found out the 4WD is not functioning. I understand this is an older truck, but with Tony owning a mechanic shop- we figured he would at least be outright with the information. I guess not. He did offer to fix it, but it wouldn't be worth the drive and I can't say we'd trust the work done. There are a lot of scammers out there, people. Watch out. Lessons were learned, so at least we can thank him for that.

MUST READ BEFORE EVEN CONSIDERING TONYS AUTO WORKS OF WHITMAN…read more I cannot warn you enough to stay far away from these people. The worst experience of my life and cost me almost five grand. I purchased a dodge in "perfect condition" from John in April 2016. I drove it on the way home about 15 miles, had to pull over because the oil light turned on and car was driving funny. I find out there is NO OIL inside the car whatsoever. I take it for oil change and a detail since the car is coated in fur from a dog which they never bothered to even clean. I had to return the day after because it would not pass inspection. I wanted to just return the car but they insisted I fix the windshield wipers myself by super gluing them, otherwise it would cost me a 200 dollar deductible to just have the car able to pass state inspection. I ended up super gluing as instructed by Tony. July arrived and the muffler falls off. Totally rusted thru. Couple hundred bucks to fix it. But while on the lift the mechanic tells me to come see the frame. The entire sub frame is completely rotted, there are two inch holes in some places, the frame itself is rusting and flakes of rust are literally falling off in chunks. The rocker body on both sides is also falling off in huge chunks. There is BLACK ELECTRICAL TAPE COVERING THE RUST WHICH IS PAINTED BLACK. This car is black. Tony taped black electrical tape over the visible rust to hide the cars true problems from me. I am now trying to sell this car. It is September and I only got the car in April. No one will buy it as FOUR separate dealerships have deemed it structurally unsound and unsafe to drive. I paid $4500.00 and can't get more than 500 from a dealership for a trade. Mind you John sold this extremely dangerous car they KNEW was salvage, to myself and my three children under age four to drive in. We are so lucky we did not get hurt. If all this was not bad enough, I contacted Tony when I discovered what he did with the black tape. First he claimed he was the victim because I wrote a bad online review. Then I took down the review and begged him to help me. He first blamed the dodge manufacturer, telling me that he would call them. Then when he just stopped responding I told him I was irritated with waiting and was angry he lied to me and scammed me. Then he claimed again he was the victim in all this. How I do not know. Even if I could hire a lawyer and sue this sad excuse of a business, I was only recover 1300.00. This is because Tony forged the bill of sale. He insisted I allow him to write a lower price in so we would pay a lower sales tax, which I knew was a lie. But he wrote it in anyways and I was so excited I didn't notice it. You just don't expect people to steal from you like this. Tony : Sold me a car that could not pass inspection Forged the bill of sale amount Sold me a car they KNEW had a bad frame Used black electrical tape and black tape to hide the rust Refused to fix anything or explain why he did this Didn't bother to even put oil in the car I have lost 4500.00 about 800.00 I had to repair on the car for the seven months I had it, my son had a tetanus shot when he accidentally scraped his leg on the jagged rust on the running board, and I have to buy a new car with no money no help from Tony or I may kill myself driving this car. I warn you stay far far away from these lying greedy subhuman jerks. If you would like to view any records including mechanical reports, emails from Tony, etc contact me and I will be more than happy to forward everything to you. Protect yourself and your family from these people. I hope I at least helped you save yourself from these greedy thieves.
