They intentionally covered the check engine light with black stickers to hide serious engine issues. I only discovered this when I took the car to another mechanic for an inspection--he pointed it out and told me the car has engine trouble related to the fuel intake or O2 sensor, possibly worse. On top of that: * The radio they claimed was brand new doesn't work. * The car shakes and makes a loud noise when reversing. * When I confronted the seller, she didn't offer to fix anything--instead, she told me to drive 50 miles so she could have a friend illegally pass the inspection. This woman is a complete thief. Have an intoxalock device installed. Needed a calibration and my battery put on a charger. A simple 30 dollar bill. She REFUSED to put my battery on a charger and said I owed her 340 for a new battery. I called auto zone up the block from her they said no a new battery was only 209. Told her I couldn't afford a 340 battery and she said she was charging me 75 dollars a day to "store my car". My car was not in storage it was in an empty outside parking space. When I finally went to pick up my car I was presented with a 1200 dollar bill for "storage fees". This woman took advantage of the fact that I could afford a battery and tacked on insane charges for storage. My car is being voluntarily repossessed because of this woman's fees. Stay away. I called auto trends 11/16/22 for car window tints. I was given the price and headed over there to have them done after work. While I was there I asked the guy about rims and he showed me a set I liked and quoted me the price of $1,900 I told him (sales person) I was headed to Jamaica for my bday but I wanted them as a birthday gift to me. He asked me to leave a deposit of $400 toward the rims and he could do them in a few days.. I was at the shop for almost 2 hours. I called my brother to ensure I was getting quality rims for that price. My brother spoke to the guy and asked him if he could paint my calipers red order my BMW center caps and add a sports strip to the from window of my car. The guy said to me I'm gonna hook you up for bringing me $1,900 in cash. He told me he usually charges $300 to paint calipers but he would do it complimentary for me and add the sports strip at no charge. I was extremely happy my car was gonna look good. The guys got done with my car and when I was getting in I notice all my sensor lights were on, I asked him why are all my lights on? He said they left my car running while installing the tints but just let it run and they would go off... I said ok but the very next day I had to jump my car. He texted me 11/17 telling me they can do the rims I wanted the calipers painted caps everything but he said he was getting me new tires etc.. Since I wasn't prepared to get the rims done the very next day I told him I would leave the car, he told me he had to take it to mavis to have it installed. I went to my appointment came back an hour later his shop was closed. I texted him and he apologized saying sorry it was taking so long. I waited for him for another hour. He came back my rims were on no center caps I paid him $1,400 in cash had already gave him $400 the day before. I told him I would pay him $100 once I had all my stuff he agreed. The next day my car tires were flat thinking it was due to the cold I filled them up. I called him two days later to check on the status of the center caps no answer, I texted him no response. I then call from my daughters phone mysteriously he answers. (he was avoiding me) I drove up to the shop there was a lady there. I explain the situation tell her about the tires, center caps, caliper paint. Etc.. She said she was gonna call mavis to check it see of the tires were warranted, she would check on the center cap status. I told her I was leaving the country for a month for my bday and was trying to take care of everything before I left. She told me she was the real owner and she would take care of everything give her til end of day. I never heard from that lady! I got back 12/20/22 I call there he answered left me on hold for 15 minutes then says the center caps came in messed up so he sent them back and will take the $100 loss. I'm like $100 loss? My car battery hasn't been right since your guys ran it bone dry. Needless to say I needed a whole new battery. Cost me $800 and that tire had a hole. Bmw said they never heard of that brand of tire and it isn't compatible with my car. My once smooth ride is horrible I hate those rims and the stupid tires he gave me. Please avoid this place if you can he is not honest neither of them are. They are only nice before they get your money but the service after the sale is subpar.
