I really had no clue what I was doing when I went in there and they very patiently listened to my needs, then directed me to the ceramic tints that fit those needs. The tints are absolutely perfect and my car looks beautiful - I could not be more pleased! WOW, talk about unprofessional! I went to pick up my car and I was shocked! My $120,000 car was outside running with the drivers door open and keys in it????? Are you f***ing kidding me!!! What the hell!! Scrap peace's of tint thrown on the front seat. Fingers in the tint on the rear window (see photo). NEVER AGAIN!!! Worked with Vicky at Putnam Window Tint to remove the front door tine of a 2016 Porsche Cayanne. The work was done in 40 min professionally. I bought the car from a dealer in South Jersey and did not know the front door tinting is illegal in New York. So I called around auto tint shop to remove it. When hearing it is a Porsche Cayanne, many window tinting place in Westchester either quoted a high price of $120 - $100 (Lorenza in Bronx and another shop in Nanuet NY ) saying the Porsche car glass is soft, so they have to take the glass off the door to do it, or there will be an edge they could not remove, or I need be prepared the glass may be scratched. There is a shop called East Coast Window Tinting simply refused to provide a quote. When I called Vicky at Putnam, she told me they can do it and they have worked on the type of car and the costs is $80. I made an appointment and arrived about 30 min late. There were two professionals working in the shop and they beautifully removed the tint in around 40-50 minutes. It was a great job done in a professional and speedy fashion and terrific price. They helped to park my car on the other side where it was easy to get off the road. Thumbs up for the honesty and a great job done by Vicky and her crews. Their shop looks professional. Waiting area not big but you can get out pretty soon with a happy smile. read more

Very bad experience. They may (may?) know how to install tinting but suck at doing wraps. I wish I can post pics here to. The wrap was done so unprofessionally and was not even straight. It had peeling and was not properly installed under the liner of the car. What a joke. They lost my business. There excuse if you don't like it go elsewhere. I can't believe they've been in business as long as they advertise. Next time go to vinyl wraps at a place that only does wraps. My final review would be negative 1. Had my van front windows installed. The installer do not know how to use a push start bottom. In turn killed my battery and when jumping the van he caused a spark which them jack my van's ECU! All the dash lights were flashing! Later he told me that it was not their fault my battery is dying! I should bring the van to the dealership to fix it. Hope karma find him happiness! read more

The guys at Putnam Window Tint are great. I have had my BMW 5 series and Toyota FJ Cruiser tinted by them. Very professional, they use 3M tint and are really professional. I ran into some issues with a local tint shop who kept my car for an entire day and did not complete the job, all I needed tinted was the driver side and passenger side doors. I called Putnam and I spoke to Jim and told him the horrible experience I was having and he said it was not a problem to bring the car first thing in the morning. All I needed tinted were the driver side and passenger side door, it took 45 minutes and the job was flawless. It's so worth it for me to drive an hour and half and have no headaches. Thanks guys, I will always send work your way and have my cars tinted at your facility. read more

I called this shop with the best of intentions to have my Sportscar tinted. I spoke to the installer and advised that I wanted to visit the shop first. The installer was very aloof and unenthusiastic about my intentions to visit. My car is a new 2016 model and I wanted to make sure this shop was run in a quality and careful way. When I arrived at the shop, I walked up to the open garage door where I saw a young man tinting a car. He was engrossed in the job so I waited for him to acknowledge my presence after he had obviously seen me standing there. Finally, I asked for the installer I spoke to on the phone and it was the same man. He continued to work while stating several times "I can't have anyone in the shop for insurance reasons". Note, that I was not standing in the shop, but instead at the mouth of the open garage. That is all he had to say. Immediately thereafter the receptionist came out to the garage and invited me to come to the office entrance. She was very nice and informative. Shortly thereafter, the owner of the tint shop arrived with a chain hanging from his wallet to his pants. I watched him walk about the shop next to vehicles and I was not comfortable with the potential for damaging a car seen by the actions of the owner. Neither the installer or the owner addressed me at all. They looked at me and never spoke to me. It was then that I decided that the personnel in this shop were not sensitive at all to a customers special concerns and/or they had some other unspoken issue. Either way I was not going to trust my $100K+ car to the poor and unprofessional attitudes of these two men. Don't be tricked by the gracious and nice receptionist. The people working behind the scenes are problematic. read more

I tend to leave things for the last minute, at my own peril. I'm leaving on a driving vacation and I wanted my windows tinted. I called Putnam Window Tint this morning and they said they could take me at 1 - 1:30. I arrived at 1 and was happy to see him working on a Raptor, same truck as mine. Within 15 minutes, as I stood in his very well air conditioned office, they took my truck inside. I could not believe how quickly it was done. Then it had to sit for a bit at which time they replaced the rubber gasket that surrounds the bottom of the window. They explained I may see bubbles, etc., as the weather is hot but that it would go away in a few days. Well, upon close inspection it is perfect. And the price was right, very right.
