It's a little better than the gas station type $10 car wash but $33. It's better but not much. I might would come again because it's close. But expect to spend a bit more time when they are finished. If it were $20-$25 I'd say it's on point and good for what you pay. read more

I just drove 1,000 miles from Phoenix to Norman, OK. to trade my 2017 Ram truck for a new 2020 Ram truck at Landers CDJR and my truck was covered with bugs, dirt, & grime from the journey. I told the folks at Auto Valet I was trading in my truck and if they could do a good job cleaning it up. The end result was that the dealer was impressed that the vehicle was so clean to trade in (They said they never see that -ever)! Worst full service Valet EVER!!!!!! Took my daughters 2016 Ford Escape in for the full service and also added extra services. I spent almost $50 for the car to still be dirty, dusty and it had the spray cleaner dripping all over the dash and windows and dash and console was very sticky and had lots of streaks... shittist job ever and then the guy was pressuring us to tip them!!! HORRIBLE experience my wife had today. No line but it took 1 1/2 hours to get her car cleaned. She spoke to the female owner, told her she couldn't wait any longer, asked for her $ back and she would just leave. Owner refused, ordered my wife to "step outside." When my wife responded that she could speak to her inside, Owner said she was calling the cops. 2 other customers offered condolences and Ownerr was rude to them too. My encounter with the owner of Auto Valet was indeed frustrating, distasteful, and utterly disappointing. There was a complete disregard for appropriate customer service, management etiquette, and the entire treatment of a customer. This encounter began when my son left his truck to have the inside cleaned and the exterior washed. I picked him up and brought him back once the job was finished. Before looking at my son's truck, I went in and asked for the same service to be done to my car. I was told by the attendant that they would clean and wipe down the interior, clean the cup holders, door sides, dashboard, and a number of other items. I went back out to check with my son and he said his truck had dirt and trash in the cup holder, the carpets were still dirty, the sun visors were not cleaned, and the overall interior did not look much different than when we left. My son went and asked the attendant if she could come look at the interior, which she said she would. We waited outside for over twenty minutes but she never came out, nor anyone else. I went into the office and asked why she had not come to look at the truck. She said she sent a detail man to check. I then asked why she didn't tell my son that in the first place. She said she was on the cash register, however, there were several other employees in the office. I then asked to see the manager or owner and she said she was the owner and immediately told me, "You can't talk to me that way!" and ordered me out of the establishment. Needless to say, I didn't leave my car for them to clean. The encounter made me feel as if I had no right to ask questions, or voice my concerns. I am torn on Auto Valet. On the one hand, they generally do good work for the ares they wash. But, they tend to leave a certain area uncleaned every time. It's not the same area, but it's like they just can't get the entire car clean. For example, on my last trip, they failed to completely dust the instrument console. On the trip before that, the area around the gear shift in the center console wasn't wiped down at all. So, while the more expensive washes do last on the exterior (unless we get a bad rain), the car is never COMPLETELY cleaned. And, the higher end wash is $36, and I do not believe it is worth this charge. That being said, I keep coming back because it's near my house. The people are friendly and the facility is nice. There is a small waiting room, of course with various snacks and drinks you can purchase. If your car is going to be a long time, do what I do and walk over to La Baguette for a beer or 2. The bathrooms at Auto Valet are clean, as is the facility. I've certainly waited on a car wash in worse places. They usually aren't quick, even if there is not much of a line. And, if you purchase one of the more expensive washes, be prepared to wait at least an hour. As noted above, the results at this place are far from perfect. But, I will return, because 90% is better than nothing. read more

Just picked up my truck from going through their brushless car wash and after spending several minutes going over all the spots they missed during the wipe down I discovered they had broken one of my wipers - it was totally broken - not just unlatched from the wiper holder. The excuse was they couldn't turn off the wipers as they drove it thru the wash! How can a brushless car wash break a wiper blade? My wife and I have given them a lot of business over the years, but the service has deteriorated so much that today is the last time! Zero stars! One of their employees stole my dog's medication! My dog's prescription pills! Owner said she'd look into it, I don't hope for much. Cost of meds were around $200! Meds were in a ziplock bag behind my driver's seat with my dog's blanket, an umbrella and lint roller. Only the meds were missing. The idiot that stole them got away with two heart meds, an antibiotic and a pill for her liver. She's a 7# chihuahua. What a total crap show this place is. Whomever took her meds is a waste! How pitiful is their life they stole animal meds!!! My car is a two seater by the way! No passenger seat behind the driver and absolutely no need to clean behind the seat! Arrived at 4:53 pm (They close at 5) and they refused service as the attendant said, "We actually just stopped taking cars." I asked nicely, "Are you sure you can't just take one more?" He gave me some BS answer which was basically a NO. Guess they just felt like closing early with no regard that I've been a long time customer there. WELL NO MORE NOT EVER NOW. When I got home after going through their brushless car wash, my wife said, "I thought you were going to get your car washed!" Don't waste your time and money. One side of my car looked like it hadn't been touched. The drying section left the car totally wet. I put my $1.25 into their vacuum and nothing happened. After waiting several minutes for the attendant to help me, he looked at me and said, "what!?". He unlocked the coin box on the vacuum, started it, and walked away. Not a word of apology! Yikes! Definitely won't be coming back here. I was in the area & decided to get a wash since my white car desperately needed it. I paid $12 for my wash & wanted a receipt (for business expenses.) The attendant just finished up helping someone in the next bay, so I rolled down my window to try & get his attention. He seemed really agitated, like I was bothering him or something. I waited for him to come over & asked if I could get a receipt since the card machine didn't provide me one. He said to me: "yeah, for future reference, these don't print receipts." I told him that I just needed it for my records & he said he would try to go find it. A few moments later he returned with a "receipt" (see photo) It was literally a hand-written note on a piece of yellow paper. Totally not official or professional at all. This raises some serious concerns to me: 1. Do they keep their credit card data secure & 2. Do they not have any way to print an actual receipt? Don't go here if you have less than 2 hours to wait. Went in on a weekday with about 2 1-2 hours of time to spare. They had 4 cars ahead of me. I waited 50 minutes and looked to see where my car was in the que. It was still 4th in line. Not a single car was worked on while I waited. I asked how much longer, they could not say. 45 minutes later I got my car. They still had not finished, but I had to leave for an appointment. Will not go back even with the free wash they gave me. Not worth that much of my time. BTW my car was a Honda Civic and it was not very dirty. Did a fair job cleaning the car but not worth the $50 I paid. Horrible customer service. Never again. Spent $36 on a super valet wash and had to ask them to revacuum it and wipe down the interior again b/c it looked half assed and not done. I had to wipe down the interior myself b/c I wasnt asking them to redo it again. And the mats still werent vacuumed well. The exterior wash was great but the interior work sucked. Kids working there were nice but it was just half assed. The whole experience irked me. Fast Lane on Main does a better job. Oh and I was an hour and fifteen minutes. Ugh. read more

Went there yesterday and spent 45 dollars on a super car wash ... Been a customer for years and had the worst service ever !! The owners father or older manger came up to me when I was on a important phone call and was yelling at me to never bring my car up there with papers and trash in the floor boards. I had three packages in the car that got thrown away or conveniently got left out of my car. When I got out of my car the valet worker came running up to me and said oh did you want these after I questioned him about the packages. This place used to be awesome. Now it takes nearly an hour and a half for a basic wash, and a shotty one at that. Plus if you don't have a Porsche or an Escalade, you get bumped to the end of the line. I took my car early after waiting over an hour and it had been vacuumed, supposedly. It was a terrible job. Awesome place to get your car washed they get everything done right and the only times I go there and they do a half assed job is when the person that is doing cleaning my car is new. So I ask you go back over the area they missed. In all honesty this please is amazing and if anyone tells you other wise it's because their inpatient assholes who think that their life is more important that they can't sit in the lobby area and wait when their Busy it's going to take a while like all other businesses. If your in a rush or have somewhere to be don't bring your car at that time bring it later when is not busy. I wanted to get my seats shampooed. They weren't dirty (no spots, liquids ever spilled, etc.). I just wanted the normal dust accumulation of a 6 year old car to get cleaned and get a fresh smell. Mediocre cleaning, no dry vacuum prior to wet (some dust particles and lint are still present where seams are). Shampoo smells like cheap outside car wash detergent. When I expressed my dissatisfaction the employee did not know how to respond. On another occasion employees told me how they cleaned some sticky asphalt spots on car's exterior, pretty much begging for a tip. Ugly practice. I tip without being reminded. Bottom line - if you have a dirty, filthy car - that is your place - you will be impressed. If you are an affluent individual who has no time for that, just do it, You can also buy a new car when it gets dirty enough anyway. f you care about your car don't get it shampooed there. You could do a better job yourself. Good exercise too. Now that I think about it, my car is clean because I have never had it "cleaned" at places like that. read more

This place used to be top notch. It was quick, friendly and most of all they did a really good job. In the last few years it has continuously gone down hill. Quality of cleaning has gone down and takes them "forever" to get one car done. Seems like a lack of quality control or lack of pride in the work. Had my interior detailed and they did a good job of that but the customer service was terrible. There were a number of people standing around and joking with each other. They hardly even acknowledged I was there and I had to assert myself just to be able to get their attention long enough to pay out. You and the manager walked the vehicle over and you were satisfied with the work when you left! Apparently you were just looking for a handout or something along those lines because all you needed to do was bring the vehicle back and they would of taking care of the stains that came back!! You came in the car wash with a very rude attitude and did not want to listen to what anyone had to say and interrupted the manager when he was talking every chance you got!! You need a class or two in manners or maybe etiquette school because apparently you weren't raised with any!!! And just because the cashier didn't get the message of your calls to the manager at your pace, does not mean you need to be mean and rude to her!! And from what I witnessed with all your profanity, you need your mouth rinsed out with a bar of soap!! If you would of came in with a better attitude, you would of probably gotten taken care of one way or another!! And I don't know what fantasy land you live in, but the customer is not always right!! People like you want to think that so they get freebies in life!! You should try being a little nicer and not such a rude, tasteless "little" girl!!! And just a little FYI, the guys cleaning your vehicle are not always perfect and do occasionally miss spots, and as dirty as your car (from what I was told) was, you can't expect it brand new off the showroom look(even though they try to)!! My recent visit to Auto Valet was very disappointing. It went from 5 stars to 0 stars. I have been using Auto Valet for at least 10 to 15 years with very good results. On my last visit however, they sprayed some chemical on my windshield that left a wavey film that they could not remove. They tried de-greaser, several other solvents, including buffing, to remove the film, but nothing worked. As a results of the failure to remove the film, the Manager agreed to replace the windshield. After several visits to the business, I was told by the Manager, that the OEM windshield had been ordered from Safelite Glass and he would contact me for installation. Then, I receive a telephone call saying they would not replace the windshield. I'm not sure who called because they did not leave their name. This all transpired over a period of one week to ten days. I am very disappointed in the professional integrity of this business. I intend to replace the windshield myself as it is difficult to see through at night, with everything being very blurry. I want the readers of this post to understand that they may experience the same kind of negative response that was affored this long time user of Auto Valet. Had a free coupon for a wash/vac. THEY LOCKED MY KEYS INSIDE MY CAR! The sad thing is that they acted like this had happened before. I had to wait 30 minutes for the locksmith to come. Who runs a car through an automatic car wash with the keys in the ignition and no one in the vehicle? They did a good job vacuuming the floorboards, but failed to vacuum the rear seats/cup holders/etc. The wash looked good. I have only written one bad review on a business in my 38 years. Auto Valet of Norman is number two on my listed of businesses to avoid. This morning my wife volunteered me to take her vehicle to a local tire business to get a nail removed. I decided to get her carwash at Auto Valet of Norman since I was in the area. I heard bad things about Auto Valet of Norman but decided I would give them a try. I discovered they opened at 8am and wanted to get there when they first open the doors to limit the wait time since I had to be at work at 9am. I arrived at 8:10am and it appeared I was the first person there since they didn't have any employees or cleaning supplies outside. After a short wait for someone to come out of the building I handed over my keys and paid inside. While sitting inside I noticed several employees walk into the lobby and clock-in. At approximately 8:30am I noticed that no vehicles including my vehicle hadn't come out of the wash bay. I got up and walked towards the back where I could see my vehicle parked behind a vehicle that was being sprayed down by one male subject before it went into the wash bay. I observed this one male subject busting his butt for several minutes on one vehicle while 3-4 other employees stood around talking and smoking cigarettes. I asked the female at the front desk if they had any other workers that could help the male subject spraying down vehicles since I been waiting for over 30 minutes and hadn't seen one vehicle exit the wash bay. She apologized and advised the vehicle that was being sprayed down was being detailed. Due to my vehicle only being vacuumed in a 30 minute period, one person working and needed to be at work at 9am I requested my vehicle be returned to me without the wash. She instructed someone to drive my vehicle to the front and processed my refund. Before she handed me the refund she asked if I wanted her to take out the $5 "Vacuum fee" out of my refund. I had her take the $5 "Vacuum fee" out of my refund and to possession of my vehicle. I took my wife's vehicle to Super Clean Full-Service Car Wash where they had several employees standing outside once I pulled up and immediately got my wife's vehicle cleaned and 3 other vehicles within 20 minutes. It appears Auto Valet of Norman are in desperate need of money since they charge me $5 for "Vacuum fee" when it was clearly their fault that my vehicle was parked behind one other vehicle that was being sprayed by one guy for 30 minutes or they have zero Customer Service Skills since good customer service experience can change the entire perception a customer holds towards the organization. read more

took my 2005 ford truck in had full detail on it was really filthy I work at a job that's hard to keep clean, so my truck always gets dirty inside, dropped it off looked like new when I got it back but did miss a couple of spots about 90% satisfied, but would definetly take it back to them. This is the second time I took my truck to them, satisfied both times (and if they miss a little be sure and tell them I'm sure they'll make it right especially for the money you spend to have it done.) read more

Since I live a 1/2 hour away, I called ahead of time to verify they provide full service vacuuming and cleaning the carpet/seat interior and they told me yes. When I got there, they said they are too busy to clean the carpet/seat interior in the afternoons and that I could come back the next morning. Since I was already there, I got their Super Valet package for $29.95. There was nothing super about it. AFTER I paid, they informed me some of the services listed in the package are no longer available. The guys working were nice and did a decent job on the exterior, however the receptionist could ve been more cordial and they did a horrible job on the interior vacuuming and dusting. I ended up vacuuming my car myself while the guy watched me. The trip was a waste of time and money. read more

I have been dealing with various team members at this location for a couple of weeks now regarding damage to my stereo. After getting an exterior/interior wash, I discovered the front buttons on my stereo were no longer operational. On my first call with Auto Valet, I was told that it "happens occasionally and I should give it a chance to dry out." I waited several days and there was improvement in only one button. I took my vehicle back, the issue was verified, and I was connected with the Manager who told me "he would speak with the owner and make sure the stereo was replaced." When I tried contacting Auto Valet today, I was told that the Manager I spoke to is no longer with their team. I was also told that they receive "so many complaints that they can't be sure which were issues before they serviced the vehicle and which weren't." I am sure there are people who take advantage of certain situations but with "so many complaints," you would have to believe that some of them were true. Today, I was told that they "have never had this issue before" so I assume that means they couldn't have done it despite the big pools of whatever they spray on the dash still remaining after I left the lot that day, or the first person I spoke with was not truthful. I was also told that they were advised by Pioneer that the number one issue on these systems is steering wheel controls (mine are not connected) and "water or chemicals was way down the list." Now I don't know what planet the Manager I spoke with today is from, but if you put water and chemicals on electronic devices on the planet where I am from, they stop working. I was told that they were going to do absolutely nothing (other than call Pioneer). I wasn't even offered a refund for the wash I purchased... I would strongly advise against dealing with a company that has such poor customer service and complete lack of desire to handle issues fairly. If you do happen to bring your vehicle here, please note the sign stating that they are not responsible for damage to any vehicle they service. That way, when they refuse to do anything regarding the damage to your vehicle they caused you won't have to look over to see it when that is all you are offered to resolve your issue. read more

I have been taking my cars here for years. Recently went under new ownership and the owner is rude and disrespectful. I paid for my car to get washed and was walking around outside on the phone and the owner came up from behind me yelling at me to walk towards the designated customer area while waiting for my car. She then accused me of stealing vehicles that are parked out back because they keep keys in them and she doesn't want me to look suspicious on camera. I told her I was simply talking on the phone and she said I wasn't on her Insurance policy to be walking around on her property. She continued to raise her voice in front of other customers still accusing me of thinking about stealing a vehicle. Since this new ownership experience I would advise NO one to use this place for their car detail needs unless you want to be mistreated and wrongly accused in front of people by no one other than the owner herself.
