This Part Source should not be allowed to sell brake components. They sold me 2 different sets of…read morebrake drums for my pick up by the brand of OE that were out of round and poorly machined. Driving on the highway with these drums caused horrible vibration which is dangerous and distracting. I can't believe they are allowed to sell this kind of quality in Canada. If you value your safety especially when it comes to brake components stay clear of Part Source. Thank you.

On our way to Edmonton, AB I stopped at this store to see if I can rent an OBD2 scanner because my older model OBD2 scanner was outdated and was not working when connected to my vans ECM. I was greeted by a few young gentlemen over the counter and felt welcome to be in their store. I'm surprised that the folks here doesn't act like a KNOW IT ALL MASTER TECH. Anyway, the young man who help me out suggested some OBD2 scanners which are out of my budget of $60 for a simple trouble code retrieval and deletion. Well, instead of him pushing for a sale he explained to me in great details of each device and why it cost more. He also suggested a competition store across the street and stated if they don't have a cheaper device that I am always welcome to comeback to his store. Well, the other store has a cheaper version $54 and I ended up buying it and I erased the trouble code right on the spot. Thanks to the good guys at partsource, you guys are awesome!!! I apologized, I always forget names of good people...

So many mistakes were made. Matthew was helpful initially trying to find tires/spacers that would…read morefit. When test-fitting the rear tires, the tech used a front tire (instead of back tire - different size) and said I needed 1/4 spacers. So I ordered 1/4 inch spacers despite thinking I needed bigger ones. When they went to mount the wheels, they said - 'Oh no, you need 1 inch spacers - 'we fit the front wheel on the back instead of the front'. So I then ordered 1 inch spacers at my cost. When they finally fit the wheels, all was good (but it was not). When I got two people in the car or enough weight, the back tires would rub in the wheel wells. I thought it might be a suspension issue as the tires were fit properly. They weren't. I scheduled the car into a different garage to address the suspension issue. It was not a suspension issue - turns out, WheelXpert fitted BOTH spacers to the rear wheels which spaced the tires too far out which made the wheels rub the outside of the wheel wells. Not only did they get me to order the wrong spacers in the first place - they fitted BOTH spacers (1/4inch + 1inch) to the back wheels to create a rubbing issue on the back end!!!! WTF. I'm not a tire guy and even I am smart enough not to do this!! Will never go back......

Re: Jeff Toffin Invoice # 140054 Hello Sam…read more I'm writing concerning the work completed on my vehicle. I have to admit that I was disappointed to find that nothing had been fixed, including the squealing from the idler bearing or the a/c compressor. The squeal was heard by your staff and the tech that worked on the vehicle. I fact the tech came to investigate it in the parking lot before I had left and after I had paid my bill. I was told that the a/c system had been over-charged. Are you able to tell me what the pressure was upon the initial testing? I also wonder why the refrigerant that came out of my system was not re-installed to the correct pressure. My a/c was blowing cold air and the refrigerant was fairly new. Can you tell me what the system was charged too? As far as the blower problem goes, I have noticed no change there either. The blower fan comes on and it appears there is a loose connection at the ECU on the a/c unit. I'm wondering how you might be able to help me out as I'm not all that pleased with where things are at. Jeff Re: Jeff Toffin Invoice # 140054 August 27, 2926 Hello Sam, I am writing to ask you to repair the hood damage on my 1962 Sub resto-mod caused by the new idler pulley dust cover flying into the hood after the three machine screws holding the cover to the idler pulley were incorrectly torqued by the service tech allowing it to fly off striking the underside of the hood and passenger-side inner fender-well. I recall hearing a very large bang roughly two days following the idler pulley replacement your shop performed. At the time of the unexpected and unusually loud bang I assumed I had driven over something fairly large. It wasn't until I was washing the vehicle for the first time since the loud bang that I noticed and photographed the hood and inner fender damage documenting the incident. It is easy to visualize the sharp edge of the dust cap as the cause of the dent, on what once was a very well maintained and nearly blemish free hood on my show car. I suspect you will not contest and have business insurance for unfortunate circumstances such as these. I would appreciate a written response to my request for full compensation for the costs associated with the damage and inconvenience of needing to have the repair in the first place. Respectfully, Jeff
