A negative 5 review was not available. This dealership is dishonest and falsified vehicle information. I had a mobile mechanic come to inspect the car and the dealer said the car had been sold. In other words, they did not want the mobile mechanic to do a inspection. As I was leaving a friend came and asked about another car advertised and was told that car was scratched over the weekend and was being repaired but they had another one. The very same car I was told 10 minutes earlier that it was sold. Oh, we recorded the conversation. This dealership will be reported. I might add they also added a $2000 charge on top of tax and license for some bogus auto theft protection. At first they said it was a device on the car. I said I don't want it and remove it. Then the sales person brought up an app to show me how they can track cars. So I looking at multiple red dots. I said I especially don't want you people tracking my granddaughter. Then I was told it was a type of insurance that if the car was stolen and not recovered they would pay up to $5000. We Googled the insurance and found it sell for $300-600. My friend was told the same and he called them on it and was finally told that is the commission for the sale. This company will be turned over for investigation. read more

I'm genuinely confused by the number of positive reviews for this dealership, because my experience was extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. Alex, the salesperson, was polite enough, but the finance representative was openly hostile. The interaction between them quickly felt like a good-cop / bad-cop routine. When I asked basic questions about loan terms, the finance representative spoke to me in a belittling, aggressive manner and repeatedly insisted that my 730 credit score "wasn't good," which is simply not true. This wasn't firmness or professionalism -- it was unnecessarily rude and demeaning. Asking reasonable financial questions should not result in being talked down to or pressured. The vehicle was priced at $13,500 (still up for sale, as of now), and I was quoted a 23% interest rate. The Carfax report showed three owners, consistent maintenance, and no major red flags, presenting the car as overall well-maintained and reliable. Before arriving, I confirmed multiple times -- including directly with Alex -- that an independent pre-purchase inspection from an outside mechanic would be allowed. I repeated this again in person and made it clear I would not buy any vehicle without one. They very reluctantly agreed. Once my mechanic arrived and the inspection began, the finance representative's demeanor changed immediately. The sudden shift from aggressive to overly friendly was noticeable and uncomfortable. Within about 10 minutes, after inspecting only one side of the vehicle, the mechanic identified approximately $3,400-$4,500 in necessary repairs. According to the mechanic, these issues would not be obvious to the average buyer and appeared to have been cosmetically covered. I will be posting a photo of the inspection results with this review. I walked away from the deal. If you're considering buying here, protect yourself and insist on an independent pre-purchase inspection before signing anything. I went asked to see the car I seen it from the inside turned it on and then he took me inside said let's run your credit I said I would like to test drive it he said no cause i need to qualify for it and I said well how do I know I want it if I havent drove it yet he then said he needed to run my credit and he said he knew the answer was no. Of course i expect to pay taxes and other few associated with the paper work but they sneak in a mandatory $3000 anti theft window etch. By the end the car is now 13,500. From 8500 to 13500 in no world is that normal. It was such a waste of time. Ralph the sales man was a great guy but the dealership themselves scummy way to do business the price is basically fake to get people in the door. Dirty rotten a-holes! I wanted my son to buy a car on his own. I helped him buy one once before, but I felt like he needed the lesson of negotiating and doing it on his own. He found a car here so I took him to look at it. I sat in my car while he did the test drive and then went inside to negotiate. They had it listed for 19,999 and I told him to negotiate for 18,000. He texted me very excited that they accepted 18,500. He knew not to let them talk him into any add-ons: extended warranty, gap insurance, etc. I went home and he brought his new car home very excited. A couple hours later he was looking at the paperwork and realized he actually paid 20,500 for the car. They added 2,000 for a "theft deterrent" system. He called and they told him it comes on all of their cars. Well if that's the case, then they are falsely advertising the price of their cars. STAY AWAY. Sat down with the numbers guy to close the deal. His out the door price? $17,900. He said this included taxes, title and an "auto theft device" that came with the car. I said I didn't want the auto-theft device. He said it was out of his hands. I got up to leave and he said "Let me see if there is something I can do." I was looking for a car for my son and ended up finding a car for myself. I was able to take the car that day, which was fun and surprising. Our salesperson, Oda, was super nice and helpful and went far above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied with everything. It took a few days for my loan to process (well, actually a week) and they were very patient and accommodating. I needed two things fixed on the car and they were so kind to fix them right away. The car was listed at fair market value (which was not the case at other used car dealerships) so it was very fair price and good quality. I highly recommend if you need a used car. read more

BEWARE YOU Might get really screwed here! In short: I bought a 2019 ram promaster. Dream came true! Clean van looked good under the hood 97k miles. Not bad at all! Price was decent. I took it to Firestone to do quick check (eye inspection). No leaks just an axle needed change. They wouldn't lower the price but I was like ok, I've been looking for a van for a while.... Took it home. I was happy as it gets! Since I was pre-approved with a credit union there winded up to be an annoying hiccup and had to wait a week to finalize the deal. I couldn't wait for that babe to be mine! It did wind up having a blinker out occasionally and a battery lights on. I thought there probably was a loose wire, so I didn't worry about it.... All check out ok in the end!! I made appointment to have the axle fixed and the blinker and the battery get checked and started insulating. Spent $200 on insulation and whole weekend. On Tuesday finally got a call from my credit union to stop by and finalize the sale. But OOPS on the way there (literally) CHECK ENGINE light came on!!!! So I stopped at auto-zone and checked the code! To my terror it turned out to be catalytic converter (it cost $3500-5000) to replace! This van would not and could not have passed smog check!!!! How did they get it smogged?!!!When I called the auto village they said if I wanted to return it they had a nerve to tell me I had buyers remorse! Seriously!!! Awful. Btw they were pretty rude from the start I should not have done business with them. Lesson learned read more

So I made a deal with Auto Villiage to purchase a 2019 Chevy Equinox. I was going there every day making sure I was in communication with them that I was coming back for the car. I was promised and assured by the manager and Franco and Oda that they would call me should someone eles come looking to buy the car. I get it, it's a business first come first serve. These sales guys soda and Franco are so caught up in cut throating each other to take deals or steal clients that they don't honor their promises. Oda took half a deal from Franco, in turn Franco sold the Equinox knowing I was coming for it. Too much drama and a waste of my time. FYI All the cars I wanted to test drive had dead batteries. Or the keys didn't work...... they come off like they are cool but too much shadiness happening here. One gives a price and the other tries to tack on an extra grand. After purchasing my vehicle here, and going through a LOT of trouble to do so, we finally got it all done & I left with my car.Before doing so I had made it clear I needed my key replaced seeing as they only gave me the spare & the remote as my "Keys" & also my reverse light was out. I was on my lunch when I was doing this so I agreed to come back on Friday (I purchased it on Tuesday) they agreed and I took their word for it. One day after driving it off the lot & actually getting more than ten minutes to drive it, I noticed the car shook when I braked. I called them up at Auto Village & let them know and the owner told me he'd fix that too. Friday came & I had my brother take it in for me, my brother calls me right away and tells me that the owner took one look at him and told him take it to the dealer before shooing him away. So I did just that. That Tuesday morning (7 days after purchase) I took it to 3 Way Chevrolet, I asked for a full inspection & was shocked when I got a call asking how much I had drove it since I purchased it I told him i literally had put 20 miles on it after purchasing it & the guy at Chevy told my my Oil & my filters were FILTHY! & the shaking I was experiencing was my rotors that were literally metal to metal. I called up Auto Village right away & instead of getting an apology or a "Bring it in we will fix it" he starts cussing at me! Telling me I was a liar & that they always service they vehicles before letting them leave the lot. OBVIOUSLY NOT! I had to replace all 4 rotors & all my filters & a Synthetic oil change & have all the receipts to prove it. Long story short, the owner is a money hungry douche, his "financial" staff is terrible. The only reason I gave them two stars is because the sales guy Carlos was trying to hard to work with me & getting my issues fixed. Oh & also. The owner harassed me about taking a call from the financing bank. I mean blew up my phone, called my work... everything. It was so embarrassing. I called him back and explained to him I was working & again I got yelled at. & this man is suppose to be a "Business Man". Customer service is HORRIBLE!! We had a vehicle that was totaled and they REFUSE to help us, they kept telling us we have to deal with it, but we have been on the phone with Gap Insurance, Valley Strong (formerly Kern Schools), and warranty company ALL said the Auto Village is the one that has to send the information over (original contract (both sides), cancellation of warranty (we tried, they have to do it) and gap insurance) they will only accept from Auto Village. I have been hung up on, and told (by the owner) that I can deal with Christina or figure it out myself! When Christina is the one that is NOT helpful, and was the original one that has said "here's all the numbers you have to figure it out yourself" and "I've been dealing with this for 17 years and I don't ever do this" Good luck if you ever buy a car there and need something from them, they won't do ANYTHING to help!! (Oh and we have also been told that Valley Strong and other banks will no longer do business with them because of how difficult and unhelpful they are) read more

We talked to two salesmen, my husband stopped after work one day to see the car before we purchased it and he talked to Ivan. He was very informative and very nice, not pushy at all. After speaking with a salesman to verify the vehicle we were interested in was actually in "excellent" condition as advertised we took a three hour drive to Bakersfield. Upon arrival everything looked great until we inspected the vehicle further! We opened up the passenger side doors and noticed rippling and uneven bodywork. Upon further inspection the entire passenger side of the vehicle had undergone body work and recently received a new (poorly done) paint job. They were very apologetic and remained adamant that the vehicle arrived to them in this condition and the Car Fax showed no accidents. Conveniently, the salesman we had been speaking to for two days was not available when we arrived. We spoke with the finance manager in the office who was also apologetic but stated that they had sent it out for "touch up" work. They offered to knock $1,000.00 off the price but without truly knowing the vehicle history to which they went great lengths to hide I would not have purchased this or any other vehicle from them ever. Ever. They are truly classic used car salesman and have no interest in providing vehicles that are in proper working condition and have received adequate and DISCLOSED repairs. I am grateful that God was truly guiding our process and protected us from potentially purchasing a vehicle that could have jeopardized the safety of our family. Please think twice before purchasing from this lot. At the end of the day we all know that the majority of these vehicles come from auctions but the real danger lies in the lengths to which they will go to deceive their customers.
