I am very picky when writing a Review but let start of by telling you my experience here at Prestige Auto Sales, I recently purchased my work van here on December 2023 from Sam on a Early Sunday, let me tell you I drove all the way from the inland empire to get a great deal and I was not disappointed I got a van and great customer service from Sam and all his staff! Starting off with Omar his sales representative was so great person and very well mattered with experience and knowledge on any car! I have never experienced a small but wonderful dealership in my life. Omar not only sold me with his knowledge but also took care of me with my vehicle. I bought my car in May. Joe was the car sales men. They lied to me about a lot of things and now when ever I try to get ahold of them there's no answer. The salesman Joe just wants to sell you a car and then blocks you. I'm a single mom and he told me the car had new brakes, which it didn't. He told me that I wouldn't have to pay my tags for a year, ANOTHER LIE! I told him I seen a maintenance light, he just cleared it and told me it was fixed. DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP -- Especially if you're a first-time buyer. I had a terrible experience at Prestige Autos in Bakersfield, CA. I was misled, rushed, and sold a car that ended up costing me hundreds more than I expected. First, the dealer outright LIED to me about the insurance coverage. I was told it was full coverage -- I asked multiple times to be sure -- and he confidently said yes. Turns out, it was not full coverage. I had to immediately add liability myself, which cost me another $200 on top of the $300 I already paid for his fake "coverage." Second, the car itself was in bad shape. Here's what I dealt with right after driving off the lot: * Tires and brakes were so worn they had to be replaced almost immediately. * Engine and cabin filters were filthy. * The electric gas cap lock didn't work. * Cupholder was missing. * Back seat was loose. * Driver's seat had a stain that will never come out. * Headlights and taillights started going out within days. * Oh, and the entire car smelled like baby poop. To make matters worse, they didn't even bother to clean the car before giving it to me. No detail, no care. And when I brought up the price, I was told they "don't do deals." No flexibility, no honesty, no concern for the customer. I'm a first-time buyer, and I walked in just wanting a decent car -- instead, I got taken advantage of and left with a car that's costing me way more than it should have. Save yourself the headache. Stay away from this place they really don't know where they're talking about. A lot of their salesman are just zombies. They don't really know what they're doing. The sales manager even get me started on that but buyers stay where if you like a car you see from here about the information about the vehicle, you're going to buy because these guys will not tell you everything. They will try to tell you little as possible stay weary about these people. Do not trust these people. stay away from Oz, and stay away from the salesman actually just talk to the boss straight up. He's the only person that's willing to negotiate with you and get anywhere with a deal. read more

You tell them you want a truck for $10k, they'll run your credit 4 times on a $15k vehicle. You say you only want $200 a month payments, they bring you a quote for $400 a month even though their loan calculator shows payments as low as $180 a month on even a $14k vehicle. read more

Wish I had a great experience like the other reviews but that is not the case. I drove 2 hours to Bakersfield because they had a truck I was interested in. Sammy, the sales agent, was a really cool down to earth guy. Unfortunately, when it came time to do the deal, whoever the manager was - he is an absolutely unpleasant man. He showed me a print-out claiming it was Kelly Bluebook and showed me that the truck was valued at 24-28k, which seemed too high. His argument was "this truck is gonna sell fast." I said that didn't make sense, so I pulled up kbb.com on my phone and typed the exact vin # right in front of him, and the exact mileage. I priced it in very good condition, did not account for any of the damage it had in the rear, and at the highest level KBB showed $17,213 - $21,578. I asked how that could be? Where is this discrepancy coming from? He went back to the print-out and said "this is Kelly Bluebook value, this is what we go by." I said okay, let's check private party value (which is normally higher), $18,343-$22,918. I asked, do you guys go by trade-in value or private party? He said trade-in (the first set of numbers). So I'm showing him my phone the entire time, and I hit the trade in value which is the 17-21k. I said, even at private party value, the higher amount, it's between 18-22k, with the average of 20k. So how did you get 24-28k value? He literally said "I have no idea what that site is." I said sir... this is Kelly Bluebook. You can see the link right there, kbb.com, you see the logo... like, I did it right in front of you I'm not hiding anything. He just kept saying "this is what we go by, this is Kelly Bluebook, I don't know what that is". So I said okay... so do you know why there's two versions of Kelly Bluebook? He didn't know what to say and just said "I don't know what that is but we go by wholesale, this is the real value, we pay for this service" (aren't wholesale values cheaper?). Carfax also shows that this vehicle sat on the lot at Norm Reeves Toyota in San Diego for 2 weeks, didn't sell, so it went to auction and Prestige bought it from the auction (they confirmed this). Which means they probably paid MAX 17k out the door (they've been in business for a long time, they wouldn't overpay for a deal they know they won't make money on). They put it up for 22k + taxes and fees and all that, so 24.5k out the door. I understand taxes and fees, but I don't understand why a 20k vehicle, which was my initial offer and the KBB median price (and I was accounting for the mileage, exterior damages, interior damages to dashboard and scratches/tears in upholstery, needing an alignment, new tires, and the touchscreen not working when you touch it in certain areas) was being sold for 22k. I just wanted to understand, I wasn't trying to lowball anyone - I was going off of their own appraisal system (Kelly Bluebook), and all he could tell me was he didn't know what "that is" (i.e. kbb.com) and that they were a family owned company, etc. Sir, I have a family too, what's that have to do with me getting a fair price for this truck? Shame he had to ruin the deal. He spoke with the owner of the dealership on the phone and it sounded like he had some leeway in the deal, he just chose not to allow it because he thought "this truck's gonna go fast". But then he couldn't articulate where his values on the printout were coming from. Anyone can type out a printout and write "Kelly Bluebook" on it; I don't believe in "trust me bro" science. I believe in clear, tangible evidence and facts, which is why I pulled up KBB.com right in front of him and asked questions. But hey, if you do go, ask for Sammy - he's a rockstar. I wish he was the manager. For reference, here's the vin # for the 2016 Tundra Crew Max: VIN: 5TFEY5F15GX200532 and here's the mileage: 128,771. You can look up the kbb.com values yourself; there isn't any mystery "trust me bro" appraisal there. read more

WOW.... is how I would describe my experience at this dealership. Omar, Moe and Sam made my experience extremely easy and very comfortable with the process. There were a few things I was unfamiliar with and they took the time to explain and ensure that I understood what was being required. The guy's also made sure to contact my insurance company have. The? Old. Vehicle come off my policy and add it on the new one. There were no hidden fees there were no surprises in the end. THIS is car buying as it SHOULD be. We shopped around for a long time, went to many car lots, spoke to a lot of people. Kept going back to Prestige for a Van we liked. Omar really stood out to me. I got good vibes the minute I spoke with him the first time. He wasn't pushy at all. Very open, humble, and honest. I recently was in need of a new company van to get my business started. I was originally on a third party platform service that lead me to this amazing company. While filing out all the pre approval information online through this third party my interest rate was pretty high. Upon speaking with the financing office at Prestige auto sales they were able to get my interest rate reduced down a great deal and get me approved in a very short period of time. I felt that the customer service at this location was over the top with genuine care and concern for my situation. I was just starting my electrical contracting company so I didn't have any established business credit, and my personal credit was pretty good but not spectacular. Mo in the office was very articulate with every detail that I was needing to know. I believe after all was said and done, I suspected my monthly payment would be a great deal of money before beginning. With the down payment that they were able to get reduced to a level I was comfortable with, a warranty on the very low mileage van, I was able to get approved and have a payment that was very small in comparison for what I was receiving. I couldn't thank this very impressive team enough. My sales person Oz went way out of their way to deliver this vehicle half way between Bakersfield and Santa Rosa for me. Actually I feel Oz my sales person drove further to me than I drove and he met me on Christmas Eve for me to basically wake up the next morning with a nice shiny relatively new company van in front of my house on Christmas morning. This van had all the extras an electrical contractor could ever ask for, such as shelving, handles, ladder rack on top and low mileage. I was very impressed with the overall and the moment by moment details of this fantastic experience. Got a car from this place a couple months ago. Been having some issue with Omar and I assume his boss according to him. A week or so after I got the car I told him it's making random grinding noise when I make a uturn on the driver side. Omar suggest for me to go get it check out because supposedly they did a through check. Lies I guarantee you. Took it to les swab was told the front brake rotors and brake pads were bad that's why it's making that noise. Omar was telling me to bring it to Bakersfield at their location and mechanic so he will pay for it. That was a lie he said he ever told me this. Then he tells me oh my boss will send you half the check to your residence which was another lie. This was ridiculous I was upset nobody has time to fix this. I understand they delivery the car to me ( they drove the car to me causing more miles than needed too). I took a picture sent it to omar he told me oh just bring it to Bakersfield and we will fix it and I'll pay for it myself. I'm like ok if you're going to offer to fix the issue sure. Took him awhile to figure out what schedule and on the mechanic supposedly I knew that was a lie. Then he suggest I bring it to one of their other shops in Modesto. Which I did but major problem there. Took it there they fix all the minor stuff on it but glue the bumper together on the brackets. Half ass job because after I took off the duct tape still look the same. Waste of my time going there and then waiting 3-4 hours for my car to be return back to me. Of course I'm upset because that shop was giving me issue because obviously I didn't buy from them but from one of their other location. My center console piece is wobble he tells its back order and be patient for it. I honestly think it's a lie. There are some flaws in this car. But this is my first and last purchasing from this location. They are so quick to selling you a vehicle and not giving a shit. They cannot put themselves in our shoe and see how they will feel if someone did that crap on them. I would not recommend anyone getting a car here. If you planning on to.
