We were told multiple times the car would be ready "in an hour," but after waiting for hours, we left and were promised delivery--which didn't happen. The next day, the car still wasn't properly prepped: it wasn't washed or detailed, and the ResistAll we paid for hadn't been applied. Disappointing experience overall compared to our past visits. That said, I do want to recognize the positives. Daniel in finance worked hard to get us to a number we were comfortable with, and Gary caught details that saved us nearly $700 in registration fees. A special thank you to Cooper, who took initiative to resolve our issues and concerns and truly turned the experience around--he treated us like family, made sure the car was fully detailed with the ResistAll applied, and personally delivered the car to our home. It's because of these individuals that I decided to change my original 1 star rating to a 5 star rating.

The vehicle I bought is defective and has many problems. It's a nightmare! And the worst part is that they make promises they never keep. There's absolutely no transparency! And it seems that if those running this business aren't capable of solving problems, what will the others be like? The vehicle has already left me stranded on the street three times. I've spent over $1300 out of my own pocket and haven't been able to fix it. The vehicle has transmission problems, the disc brakes don't work, the TRD is damaged, and it's illegal to sell a vehicle like this. The transmission fluid is contaminated, the brake fluid is contaminated (this was the only thing the dealer changed). Everything else is useless. And I'm losing thousands of dollars. I hope you're not the next victim. I call and leave messages, but they don't answer my calls. I've been to the dealer more than 6 times and the only thing they corrected was the brake fluid change. Today, March 25, 2026, I was informed that they would refund my money, but that they would not reimburse me for any of the funds I had spent on repairs and maintenance for the vehicle. I have purchased no fewer than 14 vehicles--both new and used--from this dealership. There is absolutely no transparency left, and not only that, but they also informed me that they would no longer sell me any vehicles--despite knowing full well that the vehicle I purchased suffers from numerous serious defects. This dealership should be investigated for endangering human lives by selling vehicles with such serious flaws--defects that could potentially lead to a fatal accident. Bill Wright Toyota should change its policy regarding used vehicles--specifically, it needs to thoroughly inspect its used cars before selling them to the public. Sammy Jarrar, a manager at Bill Wright Toyota, should be disciplined for treating customers inhumanely and for failing to be more transparent.

Instead of stripping the screw and doubling the cost of the job, they turned it down. I'm appreciative of that because I wasn't expecting to spend any money that day to begin with and they were honest about the issue. Manuel was helpful and kept me updated and asked if I needed any refreshments during my wait. The waiting room was clean, comfortable, and nice. If I lived closer, I'd go there to get more work done.

The lack of communication within your own team, and with customers, has been extremely disappointing. I've brought my vehicle in multiple times for the same A/C issue. I initially tried scheduling an appointment and even explained my concerns through your automated phone system, but nothing seemed to be documented or addressed. When I brought the vehicle in again, I was informed that the diagnostic had not been completed and that we were waiting on insurance. I then brought the vehicle back with a scheduled appointment, only to find out that there were no notes in my vehicle's file regarding the previous visits or the work that had been discussed. As a result, I was placed in a loaner vehicle. My car has now been at the dealership since Thursday/Friday, and today is Monday. I have received no updates on the status of my vehicle. I'm expected to return the loaner tomorrow, yet I have no idea whether my vehicle is repaired, still being worked on, or when it will be ready. This lack of communication has already affected my work schedule. I've had to reschedule commitments and have lost income because I've made time to bring my vehicle in repeatedly. I've also called several times over the past week and during previous visits, and my calls have simply gone unanswered. This isn't a matter of playing phone tag--it's that no one is answering or returning my calls. What's especially frustrating is that the dealership seems very prompt when it's time to discuss payment, but not when customers need updates, answers, or support. Angel Montano was helpful, with limitations and did the best he could.

He exceeded our expectations in every way. There was zero pressure at any point, just clear, efficient communication and a genuinely friendly, professional approach. He did not come across as a typical salesperson at all. It felt more like working with a trusted advisor or concierge who truly had our best interests in mind. He made us feel comfortable the entire time, like we were dealing with a friend or even family. The entire process was seamless. Most of it was handled through text and phone calls, which made everything incredibly convenient. When we came into the dealership to finalize, everything was ready to go and we were in and out quickly. Our vehicle was beautifully detailed, the tank was full, and he even had someone walk us through all the features so we felt completely confident driving off. This was not your typical car buying experience. It was a 10 out of 10 from start to finish. Sergio Castillo is hands down the best person to work with at Motor City Lexus.
