I paid $5,500.00 as a down payment, kept my monthly payments and still had issues with the vehicle having to replace the catalytic converters, repeatedly purchase new tires due to a bad alignment that couldn't be fixed without further work being done to the front end of the vehicle. Fast forward, less than a year later and more than $3,000 out of my pocket in maintenance and repairs, the engine blew. I asked the dealership if they could either help with the repairs, trade out the vehicle, or zero out the remaining balance of just over $3,000. They told me no because "they didn't have any vehicles coming in at that time". I took my records in showing how much money I put into the vehicle and like an idiot, left them on the desk. When I called to ask for them, they didn't know where the documents were so I was unable to send copies to the lender. I now have a repossession on my record and am without a vehicle. This place was so scandalous and I'm just hurt that they would do that to somebody. Just be careful when purchasing a vehicle from them.

Alex, the salesperson, was polite enough, but the finance representative was openly hostile. The interaction between them quickly felt like a good-cop / bad-cop routine. When I asked basic questions about loan terms, the finance representative spoke to me in a belittling, aggressive manner and repeatedly insisted that my 730 credit score "wasn't good," which is simply not true. This wasn't firmness or professionalism -- it was unnecessarily rude and demeaning. Asking reasonable financial questions should not result in being talked down to or pressured. The vehicle was priced at $13,500 (still up for sale, as of now), and I was quoted a 23% interest rate. The Carfax report showed three owners, consistent maintenance, and no major red flags, presenting the car as overall well-maintained and reliable. Before arriving, I confirmed multiple times -- including directly with Alex -- that an independent pre-purchase inspection from an outside mechanic would be allowed. I repeated this again in person and made it clear I would not buy any vehicle without one. They very reluctantly agreed. Once my mechanic arrived and the inspection began, the finance representative's demeanor changed immediately. The sudden shift from aggressive to overly friendly was noticeable and uncomfortable. Within about 10 minutes, after inspecting only one side of the vehicle, the mechanic identified approximately $3,400-$4,500 in necessary repairs. According to the mechanic, these issues would not be obvious to the average buyer and appeared to have been cosmetically covered. I will be posting a photo of the inspection results with this review. I walked away from the deal. If you're considering buying here, protect yourself and insist on an independent pre-purchase inspection before signing anything. Spending around $125 upfront can potentially save you thousands. I personally recommend GG Mobile Mechanic.

I've been…read morelooking for a car for a few months now and I decided to check their site because I used to live in the neighborhood across the street. I was interested in a Honda Fit at about $7k. The site said it had a clear title, but first thing I am told is it's a salvage and I wouldn't be able to finance it. I already didn't want it after hearing it's salvaged, but it was disappointing to come all that way when they could have filled out the info correctly on the site. ‍ I then was told which cars could be financed, so I checked out the Toyota Matrix they have (and they still have both of these cars). I test drove it, it seemed okay, but my sister was in the passenger seat and when she closed her door she noticed an odd sound as if it had been damaged. What do you know? We got the Carfax and it had been in an accident that affected the front and sides. ‍ Overall, the people I spoke to were friendly and weren't forceful in trying to get me to put money down on either of the cars I was interested in. I just wish they could fill in their information for each vehicle entry correctly on their site. Besides seeing the title status, the only way to know the Carfax is to go down there and have them show it to you to.

The next business day, a seller named Nicho reached out to me. We talked on the phone about my situation & what I would need to be able to walk with this truck. We went over credit, co-signer, down payment, deposit & questions regarding the vehicle. Nicho was able to get me approved with no cosigner & a monthly payment that I am comfortable with & a down payment I was comfortable with. When I arrived to the dealership, they had the truck ready for me to test drive. After a test drive, I was sure this is the vehicle I wanted. Now here comes the BIG ONE. We have been 100% up to date on our payments, they recently sold our loan to another company WITHOUT NOTIFYING US. This new company "mid Atlantic finance" towed the car with ALL PAYMENTS UP TO DATE AND NEVER LATE. Anywho, contacted Deal time and all they could say was "oh sorry you're right, all your payments are up to date. We will retrieve the car for you. It was the other companies fault." Yet, let me remind you, he then said "well we tracked the gps and seen it sitting in the same spot because and that is why we towed it" (it was in the same spot for 3 days at her place of work because it was BROKEN DOWN AGAIN. Just curious on to which story it really is?!?! They then proceeded to tell us we needed to pay $1500 to retrieve it out of the impound yard. I refused and they then picked up the car and took it to their lot. (By the way it is my mother's car and I am the co-signer) they told ME they would have their mechanic try to figure out what is going on for NO CHARGE. My mother then called and they proceeded to tell her she needs to pay $150 for the mechanic taking a look. They have showed no remorse, have offered no compensation and will not even return her car to her as we live over an hour away! The car was unlawfully towed and does not run and they will not even return it to her. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!

Even though my vehicle is still under dealer warranty I opted for the 5 year CarMax warranty as well because it covers so much. CarMax also has car repair on sight. Since I bought a Hybrid this is especially appealing because other wise it means going to a dealership or finding a certified hybrid repair business. Vishav was my sales rep today. So friendly and helpful, I can't say enough about how helpful he was. He made my car buying experience easy and stress free. I had wanted to buy locally but they just didn't have the inventory of hybrids that I was looking for. CarMax has all the inventory you could want.
