I came in for normal maintenance and it was going to take a little longer than initially anticipated. They said they didn't have a loaner so i told them unfortunately i need to reschedule. They really not honest people and will try to up charge you from the website price. We were interested in buying a used vehicle and you're better off buying it straight from the website. This dealership is not honest and has deceptive practices. The third-party document associated with our transaction was not properly separated or clearly explained to me at the time of signing. I entered into an agreement trusting that all terms and add-ons would be fully reviewed and explained as required by law. Unfortunately, this did not happen. Additionally, there were other troubling issues. Shortly after our purchase, the vehicle was listed on your business website for $2,500 less than the price we paid. Most concerning is the lack of response to our calls regarding these matters, particularly our concerns about the non-disclosure of the third-party document. We have made multiple attempts to resolve this directly and have not received communication in return. The dealership is aggressive with calls to sell, but will not return one call to resolve issues. Think twice before making a purchase from this dealership. Update 3/24/26 We finally received contact from one of the managers and were able to come to a resolution about our situation. We hate that we had to go to extremes, but we did state if we did not hear from them soon, we it would result to these measures. It took a month, but we are satisfied with the resolution. read more

Adding that 5th star, mostly for exceptional service from Michael (last time) and Jeff (this time). So the S60 T5 is my wife's car, and when it needs serving, I bring it down here from Keller. Yes, there are a couple closer options (dealer and non-dealer), but we like the service we receive here. Last time, for scheduled maintenance, I also pointed out something bugging my wife. There are these little rubber tabs in the cup holder, that stops a cup from rattling. They started falling off, and it bugs my wife. Too make a long story short, fixed. Thank you Michael! Today was a battery problem. Over the last few weeks the car is indicating "low battery charge" Thuy calls, get's appt. for 8AM. I'm there at 8, greeted promptly by Jeff. I head off to the waiting room to watch some TV, eat some snacks, and have a coffee. Well the TVs are temporarily gone, and it looks like they are being moved to a bigger wall. Cool. I get through about 1.5 magazines, a coffee, and a cup of snacks (trail mix and M&Ms), and Jeff shows to let me know car is ready. Battery has a bad cell, and it's covered by the warranty. That's my kind of news. So I'm in and out, quick, with no dent in the wallet. Thank you Jeff & Autobahn Volvo! Bottom line: One thing I really like about this Volvo, is that GPS map updates are free. It's a time consuming process (download, unpack, move files to USB drive, put USB drive in car, let car load files), but I have more time than money, so it works fine for me. read more

Second Volvo xc90 we have purchased from this dealership. In 2018 it the purchase was fine. Piers is very professional. However the service is awful. No one seems to have any sort of customer service skills. There is no mind set of go above and beyond for our customers. You will be handed off from one to the next. Forget about a loaner car. We bought a 2023 xc90 around thanksgiving and it has been awful. Malfunction lights daily. Brakes so hard while backing up it whip lashes you and scares you to death. Also the worst part is that it smells awful. No new car smell. It smells like a bad case of BO and when it gets hot outside it gets even worse. I will never buy from this dealership again and will probably never buy another Volvo because of these issues. Super super frustrating dealing with almost everyone over there. read more

I made an appointment for something and when I first entered, no one was at the desk so a salesperson came out. I said I had an appointment. He told me to go to the Service Area. I went to the Service area and they told me to go to Parts for my appointment. So I went to Parts and told them I had an appointment, and they told me to go to the Service Area. What the actual hell. Making me go back and forth for no good reason. Every single person I met here was so cold and unwelcoming. I have a 2001 C70 Volvo that's been at the dealership for over 6 months or more. I've changed everything on the car including the ETM and still no luck the car show no codes. The car has been with the original manufacture now all this time. They've called me once to come it and it didn't make it around the corner. They charged me over $200 year to date and I I'm still confused on what it was for. I must say if I was a white customer I feel the communication would be so much better. Maybe I don't appear to be a Volvo owner to them because it has to be a reason why you've had my car for over 6 months and no contact. I haven't received a call to say hey we can't fix your car let's try to put you in something new. When the car went in I had full coverage on the vehicle and that's all I was told I needed to get a loaner car and they tell me they have no more loaners. When what a bout 5 months later you still have no loaners or cars that I can afford? I'm human I'm a black man that takes his BMW to the dealership to get his oil changed with no issues right next to the dealership where my Volvo has a new storage home. It's your car they created the car no matter who owed it in the pass or what . If something is wrong you take it to the dealership and they can fix it unfortunately I was told wrong. read more

Three years ago when we bought our car there I gave the dealership five stars. How times have changed. Our recent experience with their service department was dreadful. When you buy a premium car and have if serviced at the dealer you have a right to expect premium service. Their service department's service standards fell off a cliff. It was a real pain to make an appointment. Our calls were not returned. Their online appointment system doesn't work. Finally. We made an appointment to have a recall addressed and some routine maintenance performed. We asked for a loaner which they had always provided before. They claimed they didn't have a loaner. WTH??? We got that sorted out after talking to several people on several phone calls. We brought our car. And were ignored for about twenty minutes. Finally a service advisor took care of us. We got our loaner. We asked how long it would take. They didn't know. And promised to text us. We waited. And waited. No text. The next day we called. Couldn't get through. Called again. We had to leave a message for someone to call us back. No one called. Then, out of the blue, we got a text with the invoice amount. No other explanation. Just the dollar amount. So we drove to the dealer. Were told to see the cashier. We paid. And asked to talk to the service advisor. No one ever came to talk to us. So we left. With no idea what was done. Because the invoice was a bit vague. Did they check the car as usual? No way of knowing. We drove home. Disgusted. And swore we'd never set foot in any autobahn dealership ever again. Which sucks for them. As we are trading in two of our cars in a month or so and upgrading both. Just, not with autobahn. Once this was a good company. Now they're no better. Than the other crap dealerships. If it was my business, I'd be firing the service manager and the service advisors. Caveat emptor. read more

I have never had a problem with any service appointment and they always have my car ready when they say it will be. My recent scheduled service and a speaker replacement was done in a couple of hours while I waited in their nice customer lounge. The service was good, but they failed completely on the the customer details. After being told they do not offer loaners, we drove two cars to the dealership to leave the Volvo for service. We were told the service would take half a day at least, possible a whole day. Once we were there we were told that they do in fact offer loaners; they were just out of cars for today. We could have easily chosen another day for service, but were not given that option. Then they called us within an hour to say the car is ready! Had we been told the appropriate amount of time that the service would take, my husband would have stayed with the car and driven it home himself. Our drive to the dealership is longer than 30 minutes, one way. We have now made four trips over and back for an hour's worth of service. Not customer friendly at all. read more

We have had our new Volvo for a little over a year and have had some major blips with service. We purchased this vehicle from the Autobahn Fort Worth location, knowing it was a trek from Trophy Club, where we live (one hour, each way). Quite frankly, this will deter me from purchasing another Volvo. We are talking about an hour to drive to the dealership (get a loaner) and an hour driving home. Then, to come and pick up the car, another hour there and an hour home. This is a four hour drive for mediocre service. We have to use a Volvo dealership or it negates our warranty, so we are stuck. It's either FT or Dallas. For the life of me, I cannot understand why Volvo is the only luxury dealership not in Grapevine, TX. It boggles the mind. Here's my story. After purchasing the car, I needed my first oil change. Went to Autobahn and while there, told service representative that a plastic side panel cover on the inside of my trunk was broken and would not stay put. It kept falling off and was just an annoyance. Obviously broken. I was told that they did not carry the part, but would order it and then give me a call when it arrived. 6 months later, no call. My feeling is that it was never ordered to begin with. Fast forward to Thanksgiving 2018. My car was leaking some rust colored liquid in our garage, so I took the car in to the service department. I asked for a loaner and was given one. Then it started. No phone call in 3 days. Nothing. No communication about what was wrong with the car; nothing. I called and was told that it was a faulty alternator and that the car would be finished in a few days. This would have been the Friday after Thanksgiving. Knowing that the holiday was involved and we had a loaner, I backed off and waited until Monday to call. Jessica, our service representative did not call back. Later, we were told that she was sick and was gone for 3 days. We finally get ahold of someone in service that frantically tries to find out if our car is ready or not. I can hear him yelling at someone in the background and telling them to check the board. We are told that our car is ready to go. The next day, my husband leaves to get the car. He gets there, waits in line, gets the car and comes home. As we are driving to a movie later that afternoon, l look at my text messages and see that Jessica has sent us a text saying that our tires really need re-alignment (one is at a "4"?) and that if we would like to go ahead and have that completed, it will be an extra $169. The money isn't the problem, it was the fact that they had our car for a total of 9 DAYS and this was the first communication that we had from anyone at Volvo Service that was not initiated by us. I was annoyed and furious because....now, we have another 4 hour drive for alignment. So, I called and bitched. Who does business by text message? Really? I was given a lot of excuses from someone I don't really care for and who I know does not really care for me. He stated that everyone was sick and they were short of staff for 9 days. He stated that Jessica had sent the text very early in the morning and that I just didn't look at it before my husband made the drive to pick up my car 9 DAYS LATER. He was snarky, but he did offer to make it right. He stated that he would have a service rep drive a loaner to my house, pick up my car, and do the alignment free of charge. This after stating that I was beating him up so much over the phone that he was almost inclined not to offer. It is at that time that I told him that he might as well "re-order" the piece for the trunk, as I hadn't heard from Volvo in over 6 months and that my opinion was that it probably hadn't been ordered to begin with. In fact, I told him to go ahead and look into ordering the part (he told me that would take a day to investigate) because what I did not want to see happen was that he had my car for another 9 days due to the fact that they probably didn't have the cover. Sure enough, I received a call from Richard the next day saying that they are "re-ordering" the part and it would take a couple of days to receive. Did he make it right? Yes, he did. Was I appreciative? Yes, I was. Was this a lot of needless bullshit and gross disorganization? Absolutely. I love my car, but I'm buying an Audi wagon from the Grapevine dealership next time. I purchased an S60 demo/loaner car with 1700 miles on it just before I moved to Dallas. The prices on these cars were great and they are treated like new cars with regard to warranty/financing! My husband moved here ahead of me, so he went and test drove the three cars I had in mind (their inventory is fully online and nicely done). We weren't quite ready to decide that day, and I was happy that there was little pressure on my husband to make a decision without me. Once we decided to purchase, we were able to handle everything via phone/e-mail/internet (credit application). Then they dropped off my car in North Dallas the very day I moved here. Our salesperson was very nice and easy to deal with even though our purchasing style was a little non-traditional. If there was a way for me to give them negative stars, I would. Our sales representative Daniel Laroche was especially rude. From day one, there were no follow up calls from him. When we tried to call him several times, he didn't answer or call us back. When we saw him I said, it's so hard to get hold of you. To which his only response was I'm busy instead of a simple sorry. It was as if he was trying hard not to sell the car to us. We did end up getting the car we wanted- but just from Volvo crest, which is way better and make you feel great( which is what you need especially when you're spending the bucks).
