I am upping my review from 2 stars. I like that it is simpler to get through the car wash process than it was when Autobell first took over 2 years ago. Quite frankly, the previous establishment did a fantastic job. Autobell seems to hire young kids to do the vacuuming and detailing. Hate to say it, but I've lowered my expectations. The kids do a fairly decent job - not like the previous team - but good enough so that I am not disappointed afterward! read more

Paid for full service inside and outside with wheel shine. What an absolutely crappy job. The wheels were not cleaned properly, the inside was not vacuumed properly. When I said the inside floor and seat were not vacuumed properly the kid just walked away and left me looking like an idiot. Needless to say I will not return. The previous owner hired Mexicans and they did a fantastic job Autobell hires school kids and they couldn't give a damn. Again I won't be back, and this is not an isolated incident. I have used this location for the last 20 years and since the new owner Autobell took over I have never had a fully satisfactory car clean. Once again I won't be back. Worst car wash I ever had. I had to go home a wash the windows. They didn't even touch them. Bugs on the front of my car. Gas stations do better. We won't waste our time and money there again. read more

Tried this car wash once again because there isn't another full service car wash around. If you leave a negative comment management will post a response asking you to contact them, but there is absolutely no way to contact them! You have to stay with your car to go through the car wash which is kind of fun, but then you sit in line under the blazing sun, waiting for one of their handful of employees to clean the interior, vacuum, and dry the car. Loads of visible dirt left on the vehicle . Expect a minimum of an hour.. We are sitting in line with 14 other cars! read more

Nowhere near the old Greenville Car Wash. Sunday around 5 and I can hear the lot manager complaining he had been there since they opened. Don't know what he had to complain about, there weren't enough workers to get to my car at the vacuums until the car was already dry. Then when I asked why the car wasn't towel-dried before it spotted drying on its own, the fellow bringing my keys looking for a tip lied and told me it was "taken around back and dried". I sat on the outside bench and watched, the car didn't move. Paid extra for tire shine and got the thinnest amount possible on the tires- had to ask and was told "they're doing the last one now". I had a car wash at the Greer, SC location a couple of days ago. I spent $27.99 and they didn't even vacuum the back floorboards, clean the windows, wipe out the cup holders, etc. I will not be going back. read more

We just drove 12+ hours home and wanted the car cleaned. We went to auto bell on a beautiful Sunday afternoon and wondered why we had no wait. Now I know. The car was cleaner but much to be cleaned still. Dash was still dusty. Popcorn not vacuumed from seat. Inside windows not clean. Not happy!!!! read more

The quality is a horrible and the attitude is poor. I had to pay extra for them to do a good vacume. Previous owners were much better. The kids that they employ don't care and take no pride in their work. It's not worth the money. It's a sad state of affairs there is no good full service washes anymore. read more

The worse!!! 40.00 for what??? Suppose to be wiped down and vacuum on the inside, windows cleaned. OMG the windows are absolute smeared , inside was not wiped down, NOT vacuumed. I needed my husbands car cleaned I paid for the full service "BEST VALUE" and the quality of this car was was terrible- I use to take my car to Greenville car wash before they sold and they did a great job! Today, after they were done- I asked if they could get the dust off the inside doors and door frames and wipe the center console and cup holders needed to be re vacuumed. I left noticing the dust on the dash vents and just all over. When I got home I re did the whole inside other than re vacuum. The floors were not great but better than they had been. The guys were nice and very polite but this place is just not worth the money! They don't do anything or spend any time on the inside! Oh and I was the only car there so not like they had to hurry!!! Does this place not dry the outside of your car anymore? They did not vacuum my car out good and did not wipe the leather down at all. All they did was talk to each other . Will not be going back to this place again. read more

I miss Greenville Carwash. My car has been cleaned well since, except when I have done it myself. Autobell is more expensive and half as good. My windows were streaked and smudged inside and out--like they were using dirty drying clothes. I was desperate to get the salt and sand off my car after the winter weather. The inside part of the car wash took care of that. If I come back, I will not pay extra for the inside/full service. But then again, you can get the drive through wash anywhere. read more

I wound up spending $50 to get my entire car vacuumed, tire shine, and auto gloss. They spent less than 20 mins on my car once through, and I paid for hand drying, and my windows are streaked, I scraped dirt off of the piece as you get in the car, and the tire shine wasn't completely applied. TERRIBLY DISAPPOINTED!!! I have been a faithful customer of the Greenville Carwash location on Woodruff Rd at: 1536 Woodruff Rd. Greenville, 29607 since I moved to Mauldin in 2003 or just shortly after. I always enjoyed the personalized service I received all the way from the beginning of the intake of my vehicle where a professional, friendly and attentive attendant greeted me, asked what I'd like done and directed me to the inside of the building where I could talk to the owner in his office on the left side of the hallway for a moment if need be just to say hello! (LOCAL BUSINESS OWNER; AND BIG PLUS FOR ME)! Now you have to sit outside in the heat, cold, wind and possibly rain on hard metal benches. NOT cozy & comfortable to say the least especially if you have a bad back. I might as well sit on the concrete curb... I doubt that's going to change... What's going on inside that prevents paying customers from having access to indoor climate controlled seating like it used to be? As I do, and always will support local business owners that live and work within our own community FIRST as well as contributing first-hand economic revenue to our state, county and city for our LOCAL economy and LOCAL residents first to foster an increase in local employment opportunities or at a minimum keeping a high level of employee retention across the upstate locations. If employees need additional or retraining, invest in your employees. Turnover isn't always the best solution during early aquisition... However Autobell too is a privately held, multi-generational family owned business established in 1969 by the late Charles Howard, Sr. His Son, the current CEO is Chuck Howard, 71. Logan Carnicle was the best employee at Autobell I've ever experienced he deserves a raise and a shout out from his employers he was so respectful to me and my son offering water when he hea my son ask for a drink he was patient and kind somthin you DO NOT GET AT ALL NOWADAYS!!!! he has all qualities of a store owner general manager operator he's never gotten a review the whole year he's worked at your establishment. Autobell IS NOT a full detailing company, if you would like a full detail please spend a couple hundred dollars to get that done by a detailer, the point of the car wash is to clean efficiently and fast so everybody gets their cars done quick. Exterior was cleaned pretty well! the interior was another story. they didn't vaccum or clean the doors or center console. This used to be Greenville Car Wash of which I was a regular customer. Their prices are now high and off the charts. Signs don't explain what you get for their washes and they decided to confuse every customer who used to come to this establishment by rerouting car traffic with an overuse of cones. There are at least 8 other car wash options to choose from on Woodruff Rd that I will be taking my business too. New ownership at Autobell has not kept things simple for its customer base. read more

This carwash is not near what is was before. You do not get the cleaning that I was used to with Greenville Car Wash. I went yesterday and noticed this morning that they didn't even vacuum the back of my car out or wipe down everything. I should have checked before I left because I wasn't even there 10 minutes. From now on I will do the $10.00 car washes at other places and vacuum it out myself. For the price of this place they should be twice as good as before. We just went to what used to be Greenville Carwash. ( Bought out by Autobell) Not a fan of their new company, concept, menu pricing etc. Their prices are excessive for just a regular car wash ( cheapest one offered $21.99) no explanation of what to do, what's included w/ the Full service wash? Let me say, Their one stand alone sign is such small print/ impossible to read/ and know what's included from your vehicle. I could barely read the prices? #1) You ride through w/the car? 2) It doesn't dry car completely. 3) Once done.. a sign says ride through go to right? What does that mean? Who does that apply to? Can't Remember the term.. but it said " others / attendant go to the left? (sign pointed you in either direction.) Again, what does this mean? Who does this apply to? Our ticket said full service, what does this include? but my husband thought we were basic carwash and exterior only? since he had to ride w/vehicle? 4) Another issue, b/c he had me jump out.. not knowing this? Then called me to explain he had to ride w/ vehicle. Once wash and drying was complete I had to quickly jump back in. Based on the confusing signage.. So he went to the right, which dumped us back into woodruff rd. I understand, operating a new business has a lot of kinks to work through. I hope through these kinds of reviews, they figure out a better method to communicate, explain and better direct customers going forward. I miss Greenville Carwash!! unfortunately don't foresee this place replacing them. As for this experience, I feel like going w/the self service car washes such as The drive through / w/ vacuum yourself just down the street (near Verde/ Woodruff rd) and similar are a much better value! Service was way better before Auto Bell took over. Usually, I get the exterior and interior done. Now, I have to doublecheck the whole car outside and inside and ask them to re-do it. Last time I forgot, and then I discovered their shortcomings later. I even had a scratch on the back door from the vacuum cleaner. read more

I went there and got an exterior only - $8.00 drive thru & you stay in your auto. I went to the bank afterward and when I got out I noticed my wheels were streaked & spotted with dirt and not even washed in some areas - very bad. I went back to Autobell and the attendant told me I should have gotten the hand dried option for $12.95. To me hand dried has nothing to do with dirt still on the wheels. I bought an exterior wash and wheels are exterior. I used to pay $9.00 at Greenville Car Wash for an exterior only and my wheels were always cleaned!!!! I came to the car wash on Saturday and the service wasn't good at all... I got the armorall service for 39.99 and they didn't clean my rims properly.. I had to go home and reclean them myself. They didn't clean my inside from windshield and rear windshield. I am also sure that I had about $2 in quarters in my door when I got out, but when I got back in there was only a dine and a penny. I've tried both Autobell locations and this one has been the worst for me. Never again read more
