I went through the car wash today, and immediately afterward, I noticed several scratches in the center of the hood--some of them quite deep. The photos don't even capture how bad they truly are. I went back right away to speak with the manager. At first, he seemed polite and helpful, but it quickly became clear that he had no real intention of assisting me. Instead of addressing the damage, he kept making excuses, insisting that if the scratches had been caused by their equipment, they would appear in multiple spots. He repeated this over and over, to the point that I finally told him I understood--yet he kept explaining it anyway. I do understand that if a rock or debris was caught in their flaps, it could cause similar scratches throughout the car. However, I have a convertible, so the only large, flat surface is the hood. Despite this, he insisted I go through the wash again, and sure enough, ANOTHER scratch appeared. This time, he claimed it wasn't in the same pattern, repeating his explanation all over again. I'm beyond frustrated and disappointed. I love this car and take excellent care of it--it's NEVER even been in the rain because I keep it safely in the garage. I've attached pictures of the incident report and the scratches, but they don't do justice to how bad the damage really is. I think some of it might be buffed out, but unfortunately, many of the scratches are deep in the paint. read more

I took my mothers car here because she told me the previous time she went it was a good clean, so I brought cash to tip the cleaners. However, after tipping A LARGE AMOUNT and getting to the car, it was obvious from the first glance that so many spots were missed within the interior. We bring our dogs with us everywhere so there was a lot of dog hair spread throughout, but I had paid for the full service option to ensure everything was cleaned. To the naked eye, there were so many spots that seemed weren't even wiped. From the steering wheel, the seats still being brown with dirt, to all the nooks and crannies being full of dog hair.... a 5 year old could've done a better job. I had to go to the store afterwards and purchase car cleaning wipes and wipe down the entire interior myself, which immediately got all the spots that were missed. This was a total disappointment as I went out of my way to go to this location and everyone being kind. read more

I have gone to autobell for several years now. I always thought for the price I was paying the service was adequate. However, last week January 31, 2025 a regular wash and cleaning the outside is now $45. I thought that was absurd, but since I had so much salt on my car from the weather, I did not really have a choice. I had to pull my front seat up to look for something I dropped only to find underneath my driving seat was filthy. How disappointing to pay $45 for something like this and have such poor results. I am a frequent customer at Autobell Sterling VA location. Damaged was caused to my car in their machine and once they inspected it the declined my claim stating that I had previous damage. The kid they have working as a manager seemed to not know what he was talking abt and when I asked for the number of a higher up he told me " it was pointless for him to give it to me because they will only bring it back to him." I rushed over to my car dealership to get copies of estimates from the previous damage as proof that my previous damages had nothing to do with what occurred in their wash machine. My dealership was able to get me the headquarters phone number and they also stated that a car wash can cause this type of damage. The manager kid at autobell called me and told me his district manager would be willing to meet up with me to take a look at the damage. That was no help at all. I showed him proof and he stated that due to my previous damages it may have compromised the area in which their machine damaged my car, that he doesn't doubt that his machine caused the damage and flat out told me that "HE WILL NOT PAY FOR THE DAMAGES." I am highly disappointed in this company, I really liked them before but after what I had to experience this time around I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GIVE THEM BUSINESS. If damaged is caused to your car by their equipment they will use any marking on your car already there to defend why they won't pay for what occurred on their property. Highly unprofessional and left a very bad image of what quality care is. Please find a different car wash if you don't want to come out of pocket for damage done in their property. read more

Terrible customer service. They ask you what you want and then they don't do it (Wanted my floor mats cleaned but all they did was spray them). Also the folks working aren't paying attention when you come out of the car wash, so no one is organizing the vehicles and they are not finishing them in order. A couple other customers and myself waited while our cars were ignored and multiple others that came out of the wash after ours were finished first. read more

Oh my word you guys have not changed. The last time I've been here was a shocking experience and after a couple of years I thought I'd try again and it's just as shoddy as I remembered. The pictures will speak for themselves. I paid extra for the mats to be taken out and cleaned and only half of it was done as it seems and the back looks like it's been entirely forgotten. I don't micromanage so don't feel like having to go around and inspect peoples work, especially when in a hurry but alas with you guys it's apparently necessary. Won't be coming back. This carwash has been here for a while, the ownership has changed multiple times over the past six years or so, and thus this review is for the most recent tenants of the space. The new owners have done a really great job of gutting out the old and dated facility and upgrading the car wash apparatus, interior waiting area and even installed huge TV's so you can see your car while it's been entered into the car wash bay. The staff is young, but management seems to have a good apprenticeship going on and they're teaching these guys well on how to wipe down a car after it's gone thru the wash itself. There was a minor issue with one of the employees getting my car in the tracks, but he apologized and there seems to be no damage at all. The last thing I'd add to be wary of is for individuals with large wheels or lowered vehicles; they still use the tracks and if you have a lowered car or wide wheel/tire set up then you probably want to avoid this particular wash until they upgrade to the modern conveyor system. read more

I asked my dad to take my truck to Autobell. As you can see in the pictures, they didn't clean inside the truck at all. I went back soon after my dad returned from Autobell to show them the magnificent work they did and ask, what was the reason they tricked my dad. There are business that think elders are blind and deaf. When I asked for a refund, supervisor said, we don't refund at all (they offer you an opportunity to make things right......). Interesting philosophy. I wonder how far my business will last, if I were ever got to take advantage of an elderly person, my business will get destroy in a matter of days....... For the price it was an average wash. Nothing special. Still some dirt on the car and dust/hair in the interior. I have a dog in my car often and they don't always get it "hair free". However, it's better than 1) doing it myself 2) when it goes in. read more

24 bucks for mediocre service disguised as full service. Cleaning was just bad, they don't take out the trash under door pockets or wipe liquid stains off leather seats. One guy working on your car, yes it was 15 mins before close but that's no excuse for poor service when you've already paid for what should've been sparkling clean inside and out. Slow and sloppy, overpriced and just terrible. Save your money. Avoid at all costs. Compared to flagship car wash it's literally night and day. First and last time for me. read more

This is my go to car wash in the DMV. I live in DC and drive out to the burbs for Autobell as this is the only one around and I trust them to get it right. I've never had a bad experience. My car comes out clean every time. One time I had a ton of bugs stuck, and I informed them after my wash that I wasn't satisfied. They allowed me to come back through after spraying down the issue areas. Prices have gone up over the years (think it's $10 for a regular ride through now), but that's still a pretty good deal for a clean car with no headache or issues, and little to no wait. I usually don't utilize the full service options but they can do a complete interior clean also. There are lots of other car washes around, but I've been hesitant to deviate from something that works well with good customer service. Do yourself and car a favor and check these guys out! read more

When I pulled up there was a pull over spot with about 2-3 trash cans, so that you could clean out/situate your vehicle before the wash. That was super helpful. I am used to the prices being listed on a big board on the driver's side when you drive up - however, here, the prices are above you as drive up to the wash. I was a little thrown off by that. I chose the "super polyprocess" package ($29.99). In the waiting area: it smelled a little funny; once I got over that, I appreciated that I could watch my car on two different tv screens from inside the building. My only issue was that once I was given my car, I got in and noticed a white substance on my steering wheel. I called over the closest attendant - whose response was to tell me that the substance couldn't come off. (But it wasn't there when I dropped the car off ... so that made no sense!) He told me to speak with the manager. So I walked to the back and informed the two gentlemen; one came up with me and immediately wiped down the wheel and made it clean. My car wasn't especially dirty when I arrived but I decided to let them upsell me for their most expensive service costing $40. I genuinely thought that I would receive a quality product in return and I assure you that I did not. My rims were absolutely filthy and my interior genuinely looked as if they couldn't be bothered. I spent 30 minutes in the parking lot after doing what I paid them to do. I will never go back to any auto bell ever again because of this experience. First and last time I will be taking my car here, I had a full clean outside and inside. I thought everything went normal. Once I got to inspect my car I realized there was this huge scratch on my car from when the employee recklessly drove my car with no help into the car wash machine. I was a previous member of Flagship car wash, moved from Vienna to Sterling and I found this place on Yelp. I trusted the reviews and I paid for this place. And i will tell you, DO NOT COME HERE TO WASH YOUR CAR. The same amount as Flagship car wash, but! No towel to use, no vacuum to use, even the automatic car wash only gives one spray, no wax, no spot free rinse. Your car get scratched and the bird shit is still on the car after wash. Also, when I dry my car with my own towel, my new towel turns black. I need my money back. read more

Horrible stay away, I'm so furious that my hands are shaking writing this, my truck is ruined I got my truck cleaned on April 18 they cleaned it and applied supposedly armor all on all the interior today I was taking the dust of the top of the dash board and I feel like my whole leather lining has separated and now there are huge waves/ bubbles that has separated and it looks terrible this is my everyday driver now I'm furiously upset that when I went to confront the store to speak to the manager, had me fill out paper work, comes out and then to tell my claim has been denied, shocked from his incompetence to bring a rag out and show me the quote on quote the process of how the cleaning is done and I proceeded to let him know that i assume you guys know what your doing im here to let you know that what ever chemical used on my truck "armor all" has ruined/ damage the leather on my truck and I need it fixed I'm not going to be driving around with a damage interior, this is a high end truck ram 2500 longhorn all he had to say was claimed denied to bad and then gave me a phone number 18005828096 called I been on hold for 2 hours and no answer on the recording prior to the wait said we are available 24/7 365 days and no answer from anybody. If i can give this place a negative star i would. They broke my exhuast tip and claim that they never did that and they wont replace the part the broke. I saw my car go in the car wash and when it came out of the wash my exhuast was broken and no longer there. DONT GO THERE ********UPDATE******** After calling the corporate office and getting a bunch of run arounds i was finally able to talk to a the right person and later found out they don't know how to give me the correct answer but instead tell me there isn't anything i can do. And then goes on to tell me the manager of that location has declined my claim and they don't care. Now I'm waiting for them to give me a call back before I decide to go forward with a lawsuit. My parents have contacted my lawyer and I have had 2 different mechanics take a look at my car and tell me the same thing. There answer was your airbag sensor is right next to ur exhaust where its broken. Which can cause my airbags to deploy and possibly total my car. read more

I'm shocked people bashed this place. Car wash was quick and decent on price. I got the $30 dollar wash and everything on the car was spotless. Buffed on the tires. Even after the guys were done I pointed to some drips of water and no complaints dried and polished. People have to expect buying the cheaper 20$ option you will not get everything. Husband does unlimited monthly washes. I go as needed. We're both VERY pleased with washes and always tip the workers. Definitely recommend!

If you're looking to have the salt from a winter storm cleaned off your car this place may do the trick, but if you want a quality wash and quality service I would not use this location. The monthly plan wash is not a good wash forcing you to upgrade to get the car decently clean. It is never dried off completely and the tire shine is always a haphazard swipe of the brush leaving most of your tire untouched. I went to Embassy Autowash in Fairfax and I got yelled at by workers and customers because I didn't know there was line behind me! That place is in the worst location! So I drove 20 mins to this spot! I use to come here when I lived in Ashburn! 19.99 for a good wash and interior clean! Will always be making a trip here to get my car wash! This car wash took the place of the old car wash that was here. The old carwash never seemed to be open and pretty much sucked. This place has really turned around, they always have plenty of staff so you get in and out pretty quick. I was more than impressed. The only reason I am not leaving five stars is because they tried to upsell my wash about four times while I was getting out of my car. Like all carwashes, you have to provide input on want needs to be touched up. The end product has been good. The quality of wash is very poor. I signed up for a managers special wash (do not remember the exact name) which was on the higher side of the cost. But the interior was not vacuumed well..all the dust on the dash, on the mats was still there. To my surprise the carpets were not even washed, which is very poor service. After driving north this weekend my truck was a bit salted. They did a good job of cleaning the exterior and the dash/trim. However having the windows especially the windshield clean inside and out was a priority for me. The interior is streaky and only a little better than when I started and the outside still has streaks and water spots. Using the kind of rags they did also left lint on the inside of the windshield. So even though it was relatively quick (not 15 minutes closer to 25 or 30 from start to leaving) I don't think I could recommend fully. ***update*** The company did contact me and genuinely wanted my feed back.
