Regularly, I visit the service to check up and do maintenance on my car. I bought that car for 73K at AUTOLAND a year ago. After one year, my tires make a lot of noise in the cabin. So I visited the service department to drop off my car. Alan was my service advisor. After a call from Alan, the car was ready.  After arriving, He says tires have manufacturing defects and tires are completed ruined.  He swear everything is alright with the car, recommending for me to replace the tires. Funny thing also when i was buying a car they sold me ADDITIONAL RIMS AND TIRES WARRANTY for 700$. Nothing was covered by warranty. So I didn't believe him!  I go to a different Jeep dealer/ service the same day. RESULT!  One year old car doesn't have  wheel alignment, and that was the cause of tire damage. I purchased a Certified pre-owned Jeep Wrangler during COVID19. I needed an appointment and made one first thing at 9AM on Saturday morning. They tell you are meeting with the manager but then someone else helps you. My salesman was very nice and helpful. The finance guy was rushing me and trying to force me to buy extras. Upgrading my previous review to 4 stars for the exceptional care and attention I receive from Salvatore Giordano my Toyota Service Advisor. Since my first experience with Sal and every time after within the last few years, he has proven to be someone I completely depend on for keeping my Scion in great condition. Upon arriving Sal is always quick to greet me with courtesy and friendliness. He always remembers my name and makes me feel valued as a customer. He remembers my broken hood thing-a-majiggy and is always prepared with a twist tie when he sees me driving in. He will sit patiently as i try my hardest to imitate noises under the hood with my non technical terms and has often opened my hood himself to search for what I am trying to mimic. He will recommend work, explain it, advise, and give me all details of cost, time and effort. He will explain over and over until i understand. Sal is there from the minute of service reception, consistent updates via text/phone/email, future appointments to service delivery with a smile and handshake. I can see how busy he is but never fails to go that extra step to value my patronage. I feel so comfortable with Sal that my next automobile will be a Toyota. Sal is the only person I trust with maintaining my Scion. I would have been happy to give a 5star rating if all the other departments were as thorough as my service agent. read more

Gather 'round the campfire and I will tell you about my experience with Autoland service dept., which is hopeless, hapless, and helpless. Worse, they are vindictive, petty, and just plain sad. First, let me say that I'm not the type of person who makes the effort to leave a negative review. To motivate me to do so means you have left such a negative impression that I feel compelled to take time out of my busy day to warn others. A year or two ago, I left them a negative review for another failed attempt at fixing an issue with my wife's $60k Jeep. Multiple visits to fix a loud squealing noise that they'd tell us they can't hear, but is plainly there for anyone with functional hearing to do so. Almost immediately, we were contacted by the dealership, not because they were ashamed of not fixing the issue or to make it right. No, this was to complain to me for leaving a negative review! We came to a point of moving forward and we've been there since for basic service--still can't fix the squeal, mind you. Today, my wife shows up for a scheduled oil change. At the service desk, she was informed that Autoland is refusing her service, because of the year(s) old negative review! Meanwhile, we've been there several times since! The sheer stupidity, gall and lack of savvy a business has to have to think that's a viable strategy for treating customers is mind blowing! I guess it didn't occur to Autoland that their terrible behavior would result in yet ANOTHER NEGATIVE review. They've done us a favor. Update 9/08/18: Made an appointment online for routine maintenance and a new battery installation. Took the free shuttle to run an errand in the area and as given a number to call by the cashier Kassie, for the return trip. Called the number several times, and did NOT get a response...I had to call an Über to get back to the dealership. My car was ready 15 minutes after I arrived. While in idle, my car felt shaky. Another service provider took my car for a text drive. When we return he said to tell my original service provider, that my battery light was on! Naturally, I was upset at this point! However, this did NOT give .. the right to say " I'm sensing attitude from all around" after repetitive questioning of whether my claim was true! Fortunately, the mechanic Larry, who did perform the services on my car, was present when this happened. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM Prevreview: I had an appointment and was told 1-hour max. I took my Renegade to get repaired for a vibration at 60 mph. They said I needed brake. I had to speak to the service manager to explain that the brakes had nothing to do with the vibration at 60 mph. They took it for a drive and told me the rear tire needed to be balanced. I had the brakes done and a week later I was getting a hissing sound from the brake pedal. I took it back and they told me the greased something related to the brakes and that should fix it and they gave me a list of maintenance items the car "needs". Meanwhile, the car still vibrates and the hissing sound continues. I got on line and within minutes found that the car needs the brake booster replaced and the vibration is a drivetrain issue. This place is a joke. I went in last week to inquire about a vehicle they had on the lot that I found online. As soon as I walked in the door, that's when things went down hill. I could clearly tell that I wasn't taken seriously off the bat probably because of my age. I told them that I didn't want to make a deal that night and strictly told them I only wanted too see it in person because the photos they posted online were terrible, and also the car was purchased in Florida in August 2017 and sold February 2018 in New Jersey with 11,000 miles. While the car looked much better in person, just getting to see the car was a process. When the sales person went to get the keys, he came back with another sales person to ask me what my plans were in regards to seeing the car. I just went over with the last guy my exact intent of being there. I then proceeded to explain (again) and mentioned how I wanted a sunroof and this one didn't so I was on the fence about the purchase. He then went on to try to tell me that if it has the painted black roof, it wouldn't come with a sunroof and none of them do (which is a lie because they do and I just got done test driving one at another dealer). The car was outside and could easily be accessed. I've never in my life had to hand over a drivers license just to even see the car (I told them I didn't want to test drive that night. Again I was only there to see it first). After waiting for 8 minutes, the sales person finally brought it around back. He followed me and stood so close to me like I was going to steal the car. I gave it a little gas (no more than 2,000rpms) and he told me not to do that because the owners don't like it. Mind you, while pulling it around, he kept revving it much louder. Once we got back inside, we talked numbers and long story short, they wanted $46,500+ for a used car with 11,000+ miles that was $50,000 brand new. I left that night annoyed with the situation and ended up continuing my search. Just two days after, I found the car I was lookin for fully loaded and brand new. I picked it up for exactly the same amount they wanted for the used one. So bought a 2019 Ram bighorn bought the truck to Autoland getting 8-10 mpg highway due to my trailer hitch and exhaust. With no check engine light there's not much a service tech can do because mechanics dont turn wrenches or actually test systems because computers do that for them... parameters are set wrong on the pcm if I lived in Colorado I would be getting great mpg driving in the mountains. Oh well we will let dodge figure out what's up with the truck ... if you think your being taken advantage of or have been please post comments. Love to know I'm not the only one. I've purchased a nice truck from them in the end of 2020 they worked a deal for me that was decent, but I spent seven hours in the dealer to close that deal. But the follow up is being terrible. They sold me a package of oil change but every time I call, they are booked for three weeks ahead. This cannot be right and it needs to be fixed because people are close to the expiration of the miles when they call to make an appointment and oil change should be a quick service provided for them in and out without that long wait or a busy schedule. At the end I paid for a service that I am not using due to a lack of response and availability to provide for the service they sell. I am paying over $120 outsourced for something that I already paid on my car purchase therefore, I do not recommend this place. read more

They are very good with what they do, they do not try to make extra charge as service like other places. Honest people there, I trust them with my car. If I buy another Toyota when my car dies, I would buy from them again. As for buying service/maintenance upfront it was nice that I did not have pay for services/maintenance for first 3+ years and extended warranty has helped same me on any repairs for 8 years and 100k miles. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Leased two vehicles with them and one of them has been giving me issues from the start. The car was around 32,000 miles when the transmission was replaced. About 3 weeks ago, while driving on the turnpike received a warning on my dashboard saying my transmission was too hot. I took it in for service and they said they had to update the transmission's computer. I got the car back from them and now the transmission kicks when changing shifts. Once again took it back for service. Now they are telling me that they can't do anything without an error code even though the car is not driving smoothly. My lease is over soon, can't wait to give the car back. I would never lease or finance with this brand or dealer. I went there maybe an hour before because my brakes were not working and they treated me super bad. They send me home in an Uber and said they will contact me if anything happens I called about 3 time when they told me and keep pushing back the hour of picking up. I lost a work day and decided to take and Uber over there my self. When I got out they said they were closed, a white couple then passed by me and surprisingly it was not closed for them when they asked. When talking to an employee she was so rude did not hear me was on the phone and even started laughing and looking at the floor when I was speaking. I went to Auto land at 170 Route 22 East , Springfield Township N.J. 07081, and spoke with Billy Negron to see what my options were in having my cousin taken off my lease as a co signer. It's a little early on the lease still have 2 years left but for financial reasons she needed to get off. I Spoke to the Financial Advisor about the car and refinance options, he said nothing is official until my cousin came and signed some paperwork to turn over the car. Told me what my monthly payment would be and not what comes in with that, it was only $100 more of what I'm paying now so I didn't think it was a big deal. Basically i was rushed by auto land to sign the docs while they are convincing me that they took great care of me. Something wasn't sitting right with me so when I got home I reviewed all paperwork, and saw that my cars ORIGINAL pay off was 23k and they made the refinance for 34k and in addition added rate and fees that total over 41k DOUBLE what it's worth FOR A USED TOYOTA . At this point I'm sick , but not too sick because remember the financial advisor said "nothing is permanent until my cousin signs". So I called the next to make sure nothing was done, and he said everything was paused until the cosigner comes on Saturday we go back to the dealer and he said it was too late , that everything has been summited, HOWEVER I was told I have 3 days to cancel any contract and he knew that & had the paper work rushed. So now i am stuck with a car i don't like & I'm paying double it's worth & they are not even trying to help me resolve this matter ! AUTO LAND IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST. ***Autoland Toyota Service Center*** Would be 3.5 stars... I always come here to get the oil changed and sometimes receive other maintenance services for my car. We've never had an issue with customer service or the results after service was performed. The amount of time we had to wait was quite reasonable. This is located in a separate unit from the main Autoland dealership complex. We pulled into the main garage and was greeted by someone at a booth. He verified my appointment and performed a visual check of our car. After that, they sent us to the waiting area so they could queue my car up for service. The person who served us had a pleasant attitude. The waiting area consists of two rooms. One room contains the cashier for those who must pay after services are rendered. This room also contains dispensers for water and coffee, and vending machines. In the morning, complimentary bagels and other bakery treats (cookies, muffins, etc.) are available to those who are being serviced. The bagels and bakery treats taste fine as always. EXTREMELY LIMITED seating is available in that room. In the other room, numerous rows of chairs are available for those who are waiting. They even had three leather seats available too. A TV is in there broadcasting the news. Restrooms are available too, which appeared to be clean. Now for the not so good. In the room where the food and drinks are located, there aren't enough seats to accommodate a high amount of patrons waiting for their car to be serviced. Now you may think that going into the other room to eat is okay, right? Well, not so much. There's a sign on the entrance of the room with the TV that prohibits patrons from eating or drinking. I understand that they don't want messes in that room, but they seriously need to consider adding more seats in the food room. There was actually a long table in the TV room, where myself and some other people brought food and coffee in to enjoy. No one stopped us there. I'm guessing exceptions are made when this place gets crowded at times? Hmm... Also, this place can certainly use a revamp. Everything appeared to be old, as the walls and floors showed signs of aging. Come on, the dealership looked very modern. If they could do that there, then why not do the same thing here? I do have one suggestion (no influence on the rating). For the morning hours only, perhaps serve some juice to go along with the available breakfast items? Overall, this is a good place to get your Toyota vehicle serviced. But they should consider adding more seats to the dining area and revamping this place so the appearance can be more modern. read more

Update: After a few days, I also had an interesting encounter. I started receiving severals strange phone calls on my personal cell phone from various "buy your home" websites indicating that they were following up with me on buying my home now that my spouse had passed away. I assured each and every caller that they had the wrong guy. The 3rd caller was so kind as to email me the form that was filled out, as well as the IP address. Anyone care to guess who the IP address belonged to? You guessed it, these clowns! So because I flipped out on them after they tried to steal $7,000 of my money, hold my title and keys ransom, to boot, they thought it would be funny to falsely take my personal information and fill out information on line, with my personal information, and to also put down on the forms that the reason I am selling my home was because my spouse died. I complained to the owner himself, was promised a full investigation, and never heard from these pieces of garbage ever again. Ladies and Gentlemen, I implore you. There are what 100 dealers on route 22 alone. Go to any of them except this place. This review is for the Jeep sales department of Autoland. This dealership is not honest nor forth coming, and this is not my first time leasing. We met with a nice enough salesman Ed. He was informed and seemed to have an answer for everything. But, if you were wondering the Jeep is being held in the same light as Mercedes at this dealership. Please note, we also went to a Mercedes dealership, the car and the experience could have not been more opposite if they tried! But to my real issue, we requested some price information: the actual price of the car, what the cars residual would be for a 3 year lease, and what would be the monthly price reduction for every additional $1,000 we put down. All information we received from every other dealership we went to!!! I came prepared, I had a created a sheet with this request and said to the salesman, if you'd like to take the sheet to your manager so you have everything we need, please do so. He said if I show them this he won't give me any information, they don't want you to go around and compare numbers at other dealerships. Really?!? So I knew this was not going to end well, but we gave it a shot... the sales manager Kash who stood while we sat, told us to provide us with these numbers he would have to run our credit, FOLKS THIS IS A LIE! He repeatedly said he was a simple man and asked us what do we want to pay monthly and do we want to sign and drive. Still no actual information was received. That's when we decided to leave, clearly they're not honest and don't understand the word transparent. Again I want to mention all other dealerships did not hesitate to providing us with those numbers the second we asked! I mean are they doing something illegal here and is that why they can't provide us with honest information and numbers?! I would never step foot into another Autoland again and I constantly tell this story. They're training there employees to be dishonest, if I were Ed the sales man, I would go to another dealership, to learn the proper way to do business. This is far and away the worst dealership I have ever been to. Incompetent, rude and unresponsive. I will not get into how bad Chrysler is considering I have been in 9 times for the same issue on a $55k 14' Jeep Overland but a story for another day. Autoland lies and tells you they don't do loaners when in fact they do. You need to beg after the 8th time in to get one. I piece of crap Scion no less. Then, they say there is a dent on the car which I am now responsible for paying $250 minimum to fix!! That car is not worth that much. Shame on me for not coming on here to look at reviews before I went here and I have learned my lesson. I would never in my life have anticipated posting a review of a company online. Yet my experience with Autoland Service Dept prompts this post. First, let's see if Chris S posts his automaton reply "xxxx, we are sorry we were unable to provide you with the same five star level of service that many of our customers have experienced. If you would like to discuss this further, please give us a call at 877-777-7329". This is part of the problem. Customer service lacking and indifferent. If Autoland really wants to measure customer experience I suggest the following that will match my poor experience at the service dept this last week. Hire some quality control group to anonymously register for 8:15 service appointment for any Saturday using the online form. List clearly what needs done and submit the form. Then show up. What they will find is the service agent has no idea about the appointment, loses the record, reregisters them says we will have someone check it. After wasting five hours no progress. When I go to complain the service manager Mike Richter will come out and say "You're not happy ok, take your car back and go." Call then the complaint hotline in the service room and get a voice recording. Text your complaint and get no reply. THAT is the reality of your service department, poor online useless form and they way that you truly treat customers. Want to be treated by like a form letter customer then this is your place to go! I didn't, I wasted six hours, was treated poorly and got my car fixed in two hours at a competitor. Stay away. I came here two years ago to buy my first car. I had just relocated from Manhattan, where a car wasn't needed. The team of people running the place are the worst in the industry. I left the showroom crying. They made mistakes on their end, didn't honor the original terms, and then flipped the story to blame me, as I wasn't someone they wanted to do business with.
