Several years ago, I purchase a new Camaro. I had it ceramic coated and I bought new HRE wheels from Automobilia. I couldn't have been happier. Fast Forward I had to get my new car windows tinted and I know the only place I could go would be Automobilia. They applied Ceramic XR on the front windows and Ceramic XR+ on the windshield because they were out of Ceramic XR. But they charged me for Ceramic XR. So after meeting Christian in person, I asked for a quote on my brand new 2019 Tiguan. He claimed thatbhe would give me special pricing, asked me to pull up expels website. So over to ky desk we went, ibpulled up the expel website and put in my cars info..Christian asked to take over. He clicked on the peices of expel I eanted..Full front! fenders, hood etc..He quoted me $1,300 and an extra $1,000 for conpmete ceramic pro. He even wrote it down on a note pad i had on my desk. I agreed to just the Expel and made the apt. Now here is where it went down hill. We agreed he would pick up my truck one Wednesday from my job. During the pick up he asked if I wanted him to do window tint on the 2 front windows as well as adding some extra pieces of expel (rocker panels, small piece on rear bumper) I asked him to send me prices and I would decide. He did and agreed to both things. fast forward to a week later, we schedule pick up. When they bring it off the truck I point out issues that I saw, alot of air pockets. Christian and his uncle Alex said "oh those will go away"..Alex said "park it in the sun when you get home so that they go away faster"..Well that's what I did, went right home parked it in the sun as I was told and left it there for 2 hours then brought it into the garage when the sun went down. Now, I had given Christian my Credit card a few days prior and I never thought to ask for a final bill as we went over prices already..Well, I definately should have. The invoice that was in the glove box was for alot more than we previously spoke about..Immediately I sent Christian a text and asked him to call me to go over the invoice. When he did he repeatedly told me he never quoted me that price, never asked me to sit at my desk and go on Expels website to view the kits available in fact he said " he didnt know expel had a website!" He then goes on to say he billed me the same day he quoted me so there is no way he could make a mistake, nor in his entire career has he ever. Well then why does yourbown invoiceI asked him to find the paper with the notes he took while he sat at my desk, he said "just to prive you wrong let me go and get it." Now fiance was here and heard the whole conversation. Maybe 10 minutes go by and as Im walking outside to walk our dogs he calls back. Again I put him on speaker so she can hear, he tells me he jumped in the dumpster but couldnt find the paper..Rather than argue I said "listen,Im not happy but it is what it is, I should have asked for and invoice so I blame myself." He continues to argue calling me a liar. Now I start to get aggrivated, one thing I am not is a liar. He then puts Alex on the phone who starts loud talking me and reiterates that what I was saying never happened and told me I needed to apologize..I told him that he runs his busniess very poorly and I wasnt going to argue and hung up. So on my invoice the prices were grossly marked up far above what is posted on Expels website per piece. I was charged for things like wrapping edges, which accroding to Expel themselves they don't charge for. Now to make it all worse they didnt even install all the front bumper pieces!!! Yup they charged me, but failed to install the entire front grill and 2 lower bumper pieces!! Their's debris under passenger side fender panel, and passenger side front bumper. The tint has debris behind it as well. If your going to overcharge atleast do a good job. So in the end, maybe they're good at cleaning cars and should stick to that leaving the hard stuff to real experts. read more

Actually it was more than a car wash a rather a full detail. I watched the kid doing part of it.....he was actually using what liked like a toothbrush on the grill. What a great job! One of my neighbors recommended Automobilia to my wife since her car always looks like a down filled jacket exploded inside. Really, she never cleans her car inside or out. My wife took her car here and signed up for a special plan that gives her a reduced rate on her car washes. When she came back home, her car looked brand new and she didn't even get the full detail package done. She has returned a few times since. A few weeks after my wife first went, I decided to bring my very large Crew Cab Dodge Ram 1500 in to have them give it a once over. Once again, I didn't get the full detailing package but my truck came out looking like it was brand new off of the assembly line. The black paint looked like glass and the chrome rims were spotless. I will be going back at least once a month from now on. Well worth every penny. read more

Overall satisfied with my experience here but there's room for improvement. Nearing the delivery date of my new car, I called to make an appointment and get a quote for a full frontal paint protection film install. But when I arrive to drop off the car, it's discovered that the original quote was missing a whole piece covering the bumper so it's going to cost more than I planned for. Not too happy about this, but mistakes happen and I continue with the correct price. I was told that it'd be done that Monday so on that day, I call a few times near the end of the work day to make sure it's ready for pickup. There were no answers but not wanting to show up after they closed, I leave work early to arrive there right before their closing time to give them as much time as I can. I get a call when I'm almost there saying the car won't be ready. A bit frustrating. The frustration was at least worth it for the quality of installation. It's not an easy job (especially on my car) and they did a nice job overall. A nice touch they have is they schedule for a follow up appointment just to make sure there are no problems that may pop up in the following weeks. And if there are, they'd address it. Four weeks later, I come back for the follow up appointment and every issues I brought up was fixed without issue and was given a complimentary wash. Every bubble that didn't disappear was removed, the emblems were reattached with stronger glue, and any weird edge issues were trimmed or redone. Now I'm fully happy with the install and my car is protected so I can drive without worry. What I Liked: - Good initial ppf installation that is nearly perfected after the follow up appointment - Good car wash that doesn't scratch or swirl paint - Nice clean shop. What Could Be Better: - Communication. Wish they didn't call me so late to let me know it wasn't ready. read more

Picked up my new 2015 WRX at 9am, was at Automobilia that same morning to get my Xpel paint film done. I couldn't be happier with their service or the product. Christian and the team was a pleasure to work with there- I had to reschedule my appointment twice and he was extremely understanding. The shop itself is clean, looks like a quality place. The Xpel paint film is stunning. I know my car has thinner paint from the factory, but I'm confident this stuff will help repel most small rock chips and road debris. Automobilia did an expert job installing it-- no bubbles, no weird texture, the fitment looks like it came from the factory. Finally, their pricing was competitive. They straight up told me their costs upfront, and there was no pressure or last minute changes. These guys have been in business for a long time, and have a loyal customer base, for a reason. Hate to have to do this to Automobilia but here we go. I'd like to start with mentioning that Christian and Alex are nice people, but their prices are extraordinarily exorbitant for the quality of work done, and the severe lack of attention to detail on my car. I got ceramic pro, which cost me $600. The car's paint looked great, but it was still riddled with paint swirls. They should have looked at the cars paint after a "light compound", and contacted me before sealing the paint (and all the paint swirls) with ceramic pro. Nevertheless, the paint is nice and red. This is the part where a mediocre experience turned into an atrocious one. I had to return the car to have the driver side window re-tinted, as someone left a very noticeable piece of lint in the driver side window under the tint. The tint job was a whopping $260, far more expensive than even the most reputable shops in the area. I was recommended to have my front windshield tinted, as they will upsell you additional services while you were there. I agreed for $250!! Big mistake. When I got the car back, there was lint, and I started noticing big slash marks on the outside of my windshield when bright light like the sun would pass through the windshield. They cut the tint on my windshield manually, as opposed to using a pre-cut kit, wrecking my windshield and requiring a replacement. I got the car back, and it had a bunch of lint in it, over 2 dozen bubbles on the driver side, requiring a fourth visit to automobilia to correct the problem. They tinted my windshield a THIRD time, it looked fine until it cured, and you can see the scuff marks on the inside from the installers scratching the tint from installation, pressing too hard and not having enough lubrication on the squeegee. I am subsequently removing the windshield tint and eating a $250 loss. Most tint places charge about $160-190 for a full car tint, and $90-$120 for front windshields. To spend over $1000 and get this quality of work is pretty unacceptable. I just think that the installers pay attention, as I saw one standing on my door jambs with his dirty boots while installing my tint. I won't be back for any reason, and be prepared to have your wallet crushed for their work. read more

I smoked the rear tires off of my 2014 Dodge Challenger and when I put the new set of tires on the jamokes who originally did the work couldn't wheel balance if their life depended on it! Vibrations would start at 85mph and I couldn't get the car over 100 because the wheels that I paid $18/piece for a "balancing" job shook like a blender! Thanks to a friend he referred me to Automobilia LLC. These guys wheel balanced my tires PERFECTLY while bringing to my attention a nail that was imbedded in the tire! The tire repair was flawless and no vibrations at any speeds. OK - yes I am more picky than your average driver and these guys get an A+! While I was there I got my car washed; WOW! It came out looking so beautiful I didn't want to drive it home in fear of getting a spec of dirt on it. I will be getting my car washed there again and will only trust Automobilia LLC. Any wheel balancing issues in the future I am calling these guys first. Don't waste your time with any other shop! I paid an astronomical price for this full detailing, but the quality and service was only OK. My main motivation was that I had just bought the truck 2 months prior, so I didn't know its history and I wanted a good coat of wax on it. It was actually quite clean overall in the first place. First, they were a day late finishing, so it was lucky that I didn't have plans that required use of my truck the following day. I've never had a detailing shop need to keep my vehicle overnight. When I brought it in, he said they don't do diamond plate. I know diamond plate is a lot of work, so I went along with it. I had high hopes that with all of their talk of paint correction and such that they would give me an extremely high quality detailing, in which case the high price could be justified. The exterior wash, wax, and clay bar were good. It was as good as other places I've been. But I'm not even sure they washed the engine bay as promised. I can't say it looked much cleaner, but the guy claimed they did it. The bed wasn't cleaned out at all. There was all types of debris remaining up in the front corner. When I picked it up, I noticed some pre-existing wax had not been cleaned off the door handles. He said it had been on there so long that it couldn't be removed. A few days later, some of their own wax also appeared on the door handles. I guess after drying, it became more visible and it was clear that there was more wax there than in the first place. Though he said he couldn't even get the old residue off, I bought some products and cleaned it all myself in 10 minutes. My door handles now look just fine. When I picked it up, I pointed out some white gunk on the paint in places. He said it wasn't any of their products and that it looked like spit. It obviously wasn't spit, because after getting home, I discovered some inside the door jambs as well. So, long story short, I do think that the cleaning and waxing were good for protecting my paint, which was my main goal in the first place. But at the extremely high price point of this place, I shouldn't have to go home and clean up wax residue and wonder whether they cleaned all the things they say they did. I've had places achieve perfection for half the price. read more

I continue to have a great experience every time I bring my car in for work. I don't have a high end sports car or SUV, but they treat my Subaru Outback with the same care and respect they give to those much more expensive rides. I had them install full XPEL film on the the front with Ceramic Pro 9H on the rest shortly after purchasing the car new in early 2017. I took it in for a one year checkup last year, and it is in for a two year refresh right now. Even with 72000+ miles on it (I drive a lot!), their products have kept my car looking amazing, with relatively low maintenance on my part. I referred a colleague to them when he bought his new Tesla, and he seems very happy as well. I certainly recommend talking with them if you are considering doing something to protect your car... they are always willing to answer questions and will work to provide options to meet your needs. I have been shopping for a clear bra installer doing Xpel Ultimate in the New England area. I went to a couple of forums and asked around on who they recommended. Everyone basically came up with a very short list of people who did this that were top notch. What separates Automobilia from the rest on the list was the customer service. When I first called the manager Christian, he took the time to explain everything with product and cost. I finally decided to go with them and could not be happier! When I dropped off my C63 I met Alex the owner, who took the time to answer everything I asked as well as let me watch the work they did. First let me tell you that I love my car. I had wanted a charger rt for a long time and it is my baby. Unfortunately I live in a wooded area and have wildlife. I have numerous wild turkeys in my yard and when they saw their reflection in my black beauty they attacked it. I can't even tell you the mess they made with thousands of little scratches in all the door panels and one even got up on the hood. No matter what I did she just looked like crap. One day in the neighborhood I noticed a gorgeous plum crazy challenger at the store and waited for the owner to come out so I could ask who detailed their car. They recommended Automobillia and I am very grateful for the advice. The team here is wonderful. They had my car for a few days because of all the damage and the end result was incredible. They paint corrected the whole car and I got a couple coats of Ceramic Pro 9h along with Ceramic Pro light. This was the best investment I could have made. When I picked up the car it looked better than the day I got it at the dealership, the shine is incredible. It's easy to wash, I don't have to wax or polish it anymore, and anytime it rains it's like a free car wash. It's already been a year and she just looks amazing. Took my brand new 2014 Porsche to Automobilia due to a minor superficial scratch. I was recommended to them by a friend. Met with Christian and I said "This is a very minor scratch and the car is brand new so I want you to approach it carefully and gradually see how much is required to take off the scratch". He said "Sure no problem, I treat all cars like they are my own." They pull my car into the garage and the FIRST thing detailer does is start wet sanding the paint. Since I am no detailing expert and Automobila was recommended and Christian seemed so honest, I didn't interrupt or question the process. I'll spare you all the details but here is the bottom line: they did remove the scratch but as a result of the wet sanding process, they created a FAR bigger problem that they could fix!!! I spoke to Christian afterwards and he basically said "Well, I wouldn't of approached it the way the guy in the shop did and it didn't work out the way I wanted. I'll try to fix it for you if you want." Needless to say, I don't trust them and they won't be touching my car. The sad thing is that I went to another detailer afterwards and they said the section would need to be repainted to fix it! In summary, I wouldn't take my car to Automobilia if you care at all about quality work. read more
