Let me just start out by saying when I first hit the deer I went into full panic mode calling every auto body shop in fairfield county. Every single shop was booked out months! I called this shop and it was the BEST choice I ever made. I explained to John how I hit a deer, have a 6 month baby home, and need this car fixed ASAP as my Fiancé works everyday! John immediately assured me to bring the car in and we'll get rolling. I explained how I had a 30 day grace period with the insurance for a rental car and he said with assurance, "Ill get it done!" The entire passenger front end was mangled. The hooves of the deer went into the passenger door, which then was completely inoperable. And the hood had a gouge all the way across. I left the car at J & M distraught about whether or not the car would ever look the same. 29 days later....my car is ready!!!! It was cleaned inside and out! I thought I just bought the car brand new again!!! I can not truly thank J & M Autobody enough for not only fixing my car, but for completely outdoing themselves!!! I was in a car accident in early September, and my car needed repair. Needless to say, I was devastated because my car was just a year old. I read many reviews of auto body shops in the area, and all signs pointed to J & M. What I really liked was the way people kept saying how they treat you like family. So, that's what sold me! From the time I called and set up the appointment, to the time I picked up my car, I knew I had made the right decision. I worked with John, who was awesome. He explained everything to me at the outset. When I picked up my car, it looked fantastic! After the repairs, they cleaned it inside and out. When I brought in the car in I had mentioned a small chip on the uninjured side, and they touched that up as well at no extra cost. So, yes, I was treated like family. Well, I have to say I've been to many body shops in the CT area and by far does J&M have the most finest work around! Over ten years of loyal business and the result has always been, " nothing short of PERFECT!". I will say this, if you want a factory grade paint job, I would HIGHLY recommend them. I personally like the fact they take their time because nothing gets left out. You go to a lot of these "other" shops and yes, it is possible the turn around is faster, but is the work and quality at par? I doubt it by a large margin. I am not in any way discrediting anyone's work or profession and I am only stating my opinion. I like consistency and quality which, in most places, is hard to find. That's why I have always gone back because of the " consistency and quality!". So, with that said, if it's time that's needed for quality work, that's why I have insurance w/ rental reimbursement, so they can take the time they need. I recently got work done and have had work done there and the finished product has "ALWAYS" been great! Hands down'! I had a pearl white Lexus LS430 that was backed into and needed work.. Long story short, they did the work and when I traded the car in at Lexus of Mt. Kisco, they knew the car was painted because of the paintometer, but said the paint job was amazingly matched. To note; other places I called to get quotes from said they didn't even want to touch it! read more

Absolute crooks. They backed me into a corner to do the body work. I brought my car in and asked them to give me a quote to fix it. When the quote came back high I told them I was not going to have them do the work. They then told me that it would cost me $700 for the quote because they had to take the car completely apart to give me a proper quote! I don't think this is the proper way to do things, but I paid the $3,500 to fix the car because they were holding it hostage for the $700 quote! The final product was perfect, I have no complaints about the work that was done. However, I can not recommend anyone that conducts business in this way. read more

Amazing exeperience. Joe is a lifesaver. He did such a great job on the bumper of my Volvo S 60. The price was excellent and my car was returned to me so quickly!
