Troubleshooting and fixing power/battery issues. They took the time to respond to my need for a jump and then kept my vehicle charging for several hours to see if I needed to put in a new battery. Let me start this off with. I haven't been ON location to this shop. But I have dealt with them for a few months now. Moving onto my review. I had ordered a custom turbo kit for my 335i N54 from on3performance. The owner of this shop helps them develop their kits from my understanding. He also does custom fabrication/modifications as well. The guy that helped me is the owner Patrick. Hes willing to help at all times. Goes out of his way to make sure the customer is happy. Professional and attentive, very hard to find these days. Patrick does the fabrication and development. I've seen many custom builds of his and they are tip top. This guy definitely knows his shit. He is honest, hard working and extremely talented when it comes to custom fabrication. I had him make me a custom charge pipe to fit my VRSF intercooler. The craftsmanship is outstanding. Now I will say at first I was worried as it took a bit of time. But you also have to understand something custom and something GOOD will always take time. What's that saying? good things come to those who wait? Well I can say this was one of those times. The welds on the charge pipe are beautiful. The edges are cleaned up and the connectors are perfect. He also added in a meth bung. And it looks like it was meant to be there. Unlike other custom jobs I've witnessed it just looked like they drilled a hole and slap it on there... this looks like it was apart of the piece from the beginning. With that said. I highly recommend this shop if you need custom work done on your Euro car. I can vouch for his work on the BMW N54 platform. Well done guys! read more

I cannot say enough good things about this business. My first experience was when I was in desperate need for an oil change. My work schedule is terrible, and I could never find a place to take my car to. On top of that, I drive a BMW, and I am picky about who I go to. They went above and beyond to accommodate me and my schedule - Brent even arrived early to get me in. I knew from this experience that I'd come back if I ever needed any service to my car. Fast forward several months, I got absolutely screwed by a dealership when I took my car in to fix a recalled airbag. Long story short, I left the dealership without the airbag fixed and with a suddenly overheating car. I had to have the car towed in. I was in a really terrible position where any shop could have taken advantage of me because I was desperate. These guys were nothing short of amazing. I had the car back in just over a day, fixed at one quarter of the price quoted by the dealership that destroyed it. Tim kept me up to date over the phone. In the end, I actually paid less than the original quote they gave me --- when has that ever happened to anyone?!? They ended up not needing a part they thought they would. They may be the most honest shop out there. These guys are fair and hard working. I will be a customer for life. read more

Patrick and Caleb saved the day for me! I was one of many to hit a pothole just down the road that immediately blew out my tire. It was snowing like crazy and I was in a hurry. I drove up to AutoMotion, and even though they were closed Patrick and Caleb came out right away and were so so helpful and friendly! They immediately put my spare tire on, and offered to order a replacement tire on Monday. What could have been an hour+ ordeal waiting for AAA or worse, they saved the day in less than 20 minutes and had me on my way! The tire came in by the end of the week and they put it on in a breeze. They even have a massage chair inside to use while you wait for your services. A++ experience. read more

Being new to Minneapolis meant having to find a new mechanic to work on our BMW and Mercedes. In 3 years, we haven't been impressed with what we've found until last week when I was sitting at the stoplight of France and Excelsior and I noticed Automotion. All this time I thought it was just a gas station. I stopped in for gas and decided to ask about a simple door handle issue on one of the cars and Patrick blew me away with his eagerness to stop what he was doing and explain the simple fix needed. I then asked him about our BMW and there was nothing but positivity that came from the time of discussing bringing the car in until when I picked the car up yesterday. Honest and mechanic usually isn't referenced in the same sentence, but Patrick blew us away. He has so much knowledge of foreign cars and can explain it in such simple terms to where anyone could understand to some degree what he's talking about. His customer service, above and beyond attitude, and friendly personality are a bonus on his expertise. He genuinely cares about his customers and their pockets because the rates and his honesty are far superior to the dealership and other local shops. An extra kudos is that not only did he do all of the above, but he went a step further and cleaned under the hood to perfection! Such a wow factor! read more

Then a man poked his head out and told me and another car it's pay at the pump. We both had trouble getting the pump to take our card. His response was I don't know wear to tell you. Well I do. I purchased an A4 from this location over a year ago, around Feb. To this day I still have not received my own title. I have been calling the dealership and their GMs direct line for the past six months! And I have yet to even get someone to pick up the phone, I live pretty far from this location so stopping in with my busy schedule is almost impossible to do during business hours. So naturally, expecting them to have even an ounce of professionalism I called and called. neither lines have ever been answered and none of the dozen voicemails I have left were ever responded to as well. On top of that when I purchased the car, I was LIED to being told that every thing that needed to be repaired had been. In a state like Minnesota with our harsh winters, a working heater core is not only a luxury but a necessity. The heat started going out as soon as we started seeing lower temps. When I contacted them and asked them to fix this being as there was no way that this repair was needed from my doing he said yes. I left the vehicle there for a few hours, after picking it up and being lied to again that it was replaced, it worked for about 72 hours at a luke warm temperature. All of this resulted in me having to go to a mechanic I can actually TRUST just for them to show me the hunk of junk they pulled out that was supposed to be "new". They assured me there was no way it was new especially with how much gunk they drained out of it. So within 2-3 months I already had to dump thousands of dollars on that and new radiator that was leaking. While all this is on going I continued to try to reach out and never ever received a call back. This place is terrible and un trustworthy and they prey on people for the quick buck. They hold zero value in customer service here and at their gas station. I honestly would not even give it one star if that was an option. This place should be the very last place you go to, to find any new/used luxury or non luxury car. They do not prioritize taking care of their customers, they just want you to shut up and sign and leave and never come back. P.S. yes the car is completely paid off. after paying thus off I went to my DMV and explained and they said I could only get a copy. whether its the dealership or the dmv that have dropped the ball on something like this at the very very least they can answer the dam.n phone. read more

This place is a joke. We recently moved into the neighborhood and needed and oil change. I called to get an estimate and was quoted around $40. So we took our car there and when we went to pick it up we were told that the $40 estimate was only for the oil. We need to pay extra for the oil filter! Who gives an estimate for an oil change and doesn't include the oil filter? So after a $60 bill we will NEVER be back to this place. We always wondered why they never seem busy.....now we know. They are complete crooks!!! read more
