I needed a new battery for my car. This location is close to our house. Also it's where we bought this car. After I got home and looked closely at the paperwork I noticed this. My daughter bought a 2023 ford explorer from this dealership and we will never by a car from them again. The reason why is she has water coming in on the driver side floor board. we took the car to them and they said it was fixed. it wasn't. We called back and left several messages with a lady named Shelby and never got a call back.long story short the warranty is about to run out. They say they are Running 5 weeks behind and we will have to leave the car there to keep our place in line. Yesterday, I scheduled my service appointment online. One of the questions asked is to briefly describe the problem. I wrote that the back-up camera only works intermittently -- it comes and goes. This morning I drove my vehicle to the service dept. I was approached by a service person, and asked for my name. He looked me up in the system, found my record, and asked what the problem was. I explained, and then was told that there is an approximately four week wait for diagnostic service. I asked if I just put my name in and then wait to be contacted. He said no. I asked if he seriously thought I was going to leave my vehicle there for A MONTH. Remarkably, he said yes! No offer of a loaner vehicle was made. It is unbelievable that they thought it was at all reasonable to expect a customer to leave their vehicle with them for FOUR WEEKS -- and that's just to find out what's wrong! It is equally unbelievable that this information wasn't communicated when I was scheduling my appointment online! I am one and done with these goofs. read more

I purchased a 2015 Ford Escape from AutoNation Ford Wolfchase included with a three month or 4000 mile warranty. Within 5 weeks of the purchase thick white balls of smoke is coming out the tail pipe. I scheduled with the Service center to bring the vehicle in, and it's been there for FIVE WEEKS! So, my spouse and I went in today and were tod there is still 8 vehicles ahead of mine! By the way the vehicle was purchased there. RUN DONT WALK when it comes to this Dealership! This has got to be the Most unprofessional big dealership and service department I have ever seen. This place will take your car in for Service and tell you that they are running 2-3 days behind. That is a lie. A year ago they kept my sons Mustang for 3 weeks and gave it back as fixed and it wasn't. Took it back and they kept it for another 3 weeks and gave it back still not fixed. He had to call Ford and complain to get it fixed correctly. Most of the service managers are very unhelpful and turn into smart alec's if you question them at all. So this review comes after an awful experience made right by the Customer Service Manager, Nickalus Rowell. Maybe he has a different title, but he seemed to be the lead or at least one of the leads within the customer service department. Long story short - I had a not great experience bringing my car in the last time to get a recall taken care of (see previous review). Come to find out a few weeks later that what they "fixed" on the recall, they actually did not correctly complete. When I noticed this, I immediately called Ford to get this corrected, and it took more calls than I'd like to mention and more than two weeks to actually get a response and get things together, which was really prompted by an e-mail and contacting Nick. Once he received word of the situation, he took immediate action to correct the issue. He got my car in the next day in the morning without an appointment; he took the car back himself and ensured it was taken care of right away. Thankfully, the issue was a small one, though it still shouldn't have happened, and it was taken care of within 15-30 minutes of me arriving. Nick was extremely apologetic and even offered to - and proceeded to - wash my car for me. More people like Nick at this place and less people like the person who was my apparent customer service contact who failed to call me back repeatedly would do this place a lot of good. read more

They want to sell vehicles and they follow through on what they say. Definitely a great place to purchase a new or pre-owned vehicle. I just purchased a new 2024 grabber blue mustang GT. The process couldn't have been easier. I was in and out in just a couple hours and I am very happy with my purchase. They have even followed up a few times to make sure that everything is going great. It's hard to find people that care about consumers now days and this place is the exception! I recently needed to bring my vehicle in for a repair due to a problem with the radio and bluetooth system. The repair started a little rocky due to a wrong radio part, then the lack of its availability, but things got sorted out. The Service writer (Andrew Howell) and Service Tech (Jason S.) made up for the slight hiccup in the delayed part. I was kept updated frequently on the parts status and repair. They fielded my questions without hesitation and answered them as acutely as was the situation. I appreciated that! We will definitely be returning based on our experience! Zero stars. Service allows you to schedule appointments online but when you get there they tell you that you will have to leave your car for three weeks for even a diagnostic test. So that means you actually don't have open appointments for three weeks. Don't allow people to schedule appointments and waste their time if you don't have the availability. read more

These guys are the reason car salesman have a bad name. They advertised a price on line. I spoke with salesman for 2 days on price. Figured out financing option and Ford incentives. Was given a price of $44,916 plus tax, license, doc fees. At the last minute they added in $2,241 in additions called Ford Guard, Appearance Protection and Tire & Wheel Protection. When I told Matt, the manger that I did not want those, he said its not an option, it is part of truck and stays on the total. I asked why it wasnt in the price then, and why the salesman never mentioned this? He said they have things they "add" if it was done at the dealership. I said, "so what if you guys put nicer wheels and tires and a better stereo in the truck? Would you not add that in the price you put online? He never answered. Clearly skirted around my questions. I guess they just thought I would pay more than I quoted for the truck. With all the places their are to choose from to buy a vehicle, I highly recommend staying away from this place and apparently staying away from Auto Nation. Terrible business etiquette. Plain and simple, if I wanted to get ghosted by someone I would have reactivated my bumble account. Car salesman are generally up your ass to get your business and the one time I find the car that I know I want, I can't get a call back. What's the point of calling back a customer who emailed, called, and live chatted in about wanting to purchase a car? As someone who works in sales, I know it's an absolute grind, but if I had someone ready to give me business they would have my full attention and I wouldn't call it a day until I knew I left them feeling satisfied with the level service I provided. I called in at 10:40am to inquire about the car I wanted, was told I would get an out the door price email within minutes. That was partly true as I received that 40 minutes later. All looked good to me so I called Stephon's direct line within minutes of getting his email as I had a few more questions before moving forward with the purchase. I got his voicemail and left him one then proceeded to send a follow up email asking for him to give me a call. An hour and forty minutes went by and it was straight silence of the lambs. I called back to the sales main number and spoke with a different salesman who answered one of my questions, but then as I got prepared to ask a second question he said, "I see you are working with Stephon, let me transfer you to the secretary who will connect you with him." I spoke with the delightful secretary who transferred me to Stephon's line and do you think I got a hold of him? You are correct!! I absolutely did not get a hold of him!! For those who have seen the movie The Invisible Man, they should rename that movie after Stephon. I decided to live chat on the website into customer service to get my last question answered and pass along my contact information again so I could get a damn call back. Another hour and a half went by and I heard nothing so I called back to the sales main line and BOOMM Stephon answered, told him it was me and I would like to move forward, but since I'm out of state I asked if I could put a deposit down and come in tomorrow? Of course he didn't know the answer, so he told me he would check with his manager and get back to me. Part of me believed he would get back to me as I'm literally ready to give my credit card and put a deposit down on the car. Three or so more hours went by and did I get an email or call back?? CORRECT AGAIN. I did not!!! I guess if you don't show up to this dealership then you have no shot of purchasing a car from this place that supposedly calls them a dealership. On 7/24/24 my 81 year old African American mother and I took her car to Autonation Ford Wolfchase located at 7925 Stage Road, Memphis, TN 38133. Her car was needing a diagnostic determination for what was causing some problems with the car since a recent accident, and the repairs to fix it. We spoke with a w/m by the name of Joe Brown whose title was service advisor. My mom explained the insurance company had set up the appointment. Joe Brown proceeded to say he had no knowledge of any such appointment. He then walked around his office and said something to other co-workers as well as his service manager. When he returned he stated no one else knew of the appointment either. He then further stated that Autonation Wolfchase had 250 other vehicles ahead of her and she couldn't be seen until November 2024. I feel Joe Brown was totally dishonest. There is no way they have 250 vehicles waiting to be repaired. I feel Joe Brown exhibited discrimination toward my elderly African American mother who has done business with this location since February 2015. She not only purchased the vehicle from them but has also had all her required car maintenance with them as well. Shame on Autonation. I advice any African American to stop doing business with them. Communication was less then great. We had to follow up on the progress and paperwork to purchase our 2018 Toyota Tundra many times over what became weeks. You would think they would be willing to lead the process considering the fact they are in business of selling cars/trucks! Upon receipt of the vehicle which we had paid to have delivered the 5 hour one way trip, there were many undisclosed issues; front tires were worn out and needed to be replaced, lug nuts were stripped so to replace tires they had to be drilled out. Breaks were installed backwards and two of the three doors locking systems are failing, only locking 2 out of 3 times. I found a few models of new cars online that i liked. I sent in for a price request. I ended up getting a phone call not too long after from the salesman that i dealt with. We talked about a few other models i might be interested in along with what type of financing i was looking at. He said he was going to e-mail me price quotes which he did. This was during the weekday. I set up an appointment with him for the upcoming Saturday to look at those trucks. He emails me the friday before with something along the lines of some of those trucks sold and to confirm if i was coming in. I asked him which ones were left over, one in particular was a black truck. It was in their other lot but he said he would have it there for me to check out. I emailed him a few hours before i was suppose to be their and told him i am going to be about 30-60 min late. My wife and I show up only 30min after the appointment time. He was with a customer which was fine and asked us to go out side and check out the trucks. My wife and I were out there for a while untill we finally go inside and wait at the table. He comes up to us and says he;ll have another salesman show us the trucks. The guy that we ended up with was really nice. The issue was the truck i wanted to test drive wasn't there. The original salesman never went to the other lot to have it ready for me to see and test drive. I had to end up test driving a different truck that was kind of similar. After the test drive i said i had to think about it. A few hours after i get home I decided I wanted to work some pricing on it (the black truck the original salesman didn't have ready for me to see). I tried texting and emailing the sales people asking to send another quote. I didnt get a response untill i emailed them again saying i was ready to buy if the price was right. I get a response saying another quote was going to be sent to me. The new price they sent wasnt much different than the original quote, but i noticed they put estimate financing rates which were more than double then the rates i talked about. When I asked the original salesman what was going on with this, he told me that I would have to finance through ford to get that price (which is from what i understand alot higher than typical rates) I told him that didn't make sense. I spoke a few days before with him about what rates i was looking at. The quote he sent me originally , he threw all rebates possible into it without taking to account what we talked about. They completely wasted my time and my wife's. When I called him out on that and not having the truck we wanted to see there, He only apologized for being "too busy" and having a scheduled appointment (which I had) and he is only one person. And for the rebates he said that any quotes from dealers i get reflect all rebates and apparently I took exception to that. (this was all through text message) i spoke with him about what rates I wanted ahead of time and send me a price quote, I would think he would send me the correct quote to work from. I really felt misled here and on top of that, was not treated with respect. The manager calls me the next day to apologize. I explained to him what happened and he seemed very genuine about being concerned with my frustration. He said he wanted to make things right and make it up to me. I left off with him to send me a quote of what he can do. Its been almost a week and I still haven't heard back from him. My time has been completely wasted with this dealership. From my experience and based on who i dealt with, they have no respect for their customers. These are people they are dealing with and they need to understand we all have lives. My take away from this is if you ever get a price quote, make sure you ask them to to explain how they get to that price, what are the requirements of the rebates if they tell you. Have them break it down, what is rebates, what is dealer discount etc..Also make sure what you want to see is there and the salesman is not "too busy" read more

My wife and I were traveling across the country and her check engine light came on. I called and spoke to Mary, Ed and David-the diesel tech-had us diagnosed in and out of there within an hour. They helped travelers get across the country while moving our stuff and we're even amazing toward our dogs! Pathetic!.......was in touch with an e-commerce agent about a used vehicle for two days prior to my arrival. I was messaged and assured that the vehicle would be ready when I got there for viewing. When I arrived the vehicle had more tree sap on it than the ground on a Georgia pine farm. The damn visor mirror literally fell out and hit me. I called Autonation Wolfchase Ford and asked for the service department to schedule an appointment. The young lady told me it might be easier to schedule it online, and so I did. I scheduled 2 services for my 16 F-150. One is a door latch recall and the other was to fix my loose drivers seat. I immediately received an email confirming my appointment, letting me know that drop off was 715am and pick up would be 2pm.. I received another follow up email, reminding me of my appointment the day before. I arrived before my appointment time at 7:10 am. When I pulled into the bay, and asked what I was there for, I was told that, " they dont do those types of services on a Saturday because they dont have the crew. We would also need your Truck longer than just a few hours." I said I made and appointed and recieved an email confirmation. To which the service person laughed and said, " you need to make those appointments over the phone or in person. Online appointments dont mean really nothin for a service recall. You are first come first serve here." I said, " well, someone should have at least called to let me know. I received and email from Brooks Ward confirming your work to be done." He said, " well, WE can't....not today." I said, " you sir have just wasted my time. The service guy literally just shrugged his shoulders and walked away from me!!!!! Took car in for oil change three to four day wait , but after this review maybe two weeks and does not need anything else fixed. Love the dealership, but have always had trouble with the service department. It's like hit or miss sometimes they are good and sometimes they are like "Bad word" you we don't care. Example took Not sold Focus in to install Ford accessory when new. Got it back with all the dash lights on fuse box open. Them I gave them another chance. I took car back for oil change and got it back with oil light still on. Just my option but I believe they need a service manager that knows how to run a service department. Bought my 2018 F150 XLT approximately 5-6 weeks ago brand new! Had to bring it in 5 times before they got the vibration out of the tires. On the last visit the truck was damaged by the service department - Glove Box door gouged severely, white powdery substance on my NEW leather, yellow paint on my right hand chrome door handle from hitting a steel safety pole they have all around the facility and a DING just above the right rear tire in the fender.
