This is a dishonest dealership with Bait-and-Switch Pricing. I recently attempted to purchase my mom a vehicle from this dealership and was completely disappointed by their dishonest sales tactics. They advertised a 2025 Honda Accord Hybrid online with an Internet Price of $35,410--including a listed dealer discount--but when I got to the dealership, they claimed the price was $36,925, conveniently ignoring their own advertised discount. This is a classic bait-and-switch move to lure in customers with lower prices only to push a higher price once you're there. Even when I showed them proof of the online price, they were unwilling to honor it, offering no reasonable explanation. When I visited Wolfchase Honda's service department for assistance with my Honda battery, which was still under warranty. Unfortunately, I left feeling incredibly disappointed and frustrated with the level of service I received. Upon arrival, I was ignored by the service manager (Mr. Lewis) and a service advisor (seem new on his position), who were both preoccupied with their phones and social media. Despite my attempts to get their attention, they continued to ignore me, leaving me feeling invisible and undervalued as a customer. When I finally managed to speak with someone about my battery issue, I was informed that they don't test customers' batteries, despite the fact that I had purchased my car from Wolfchase Honda and the battery was still under warranty. It wasn't until another service consultant (John Tierney), a white gentleman, overheard my concerns and intervened that a technician was called to test my battery. While I appreciate the assistance provided by the technician, I am deeply disappointed by the lack of courtesy and professionalism displayed by the service manager and service advisor. As someone who works for a major corporation myself, I understand the importance of providing excellent customer service and treating all customers with respect and attentiveness. Unfortunately, the behavior exhibited by the service manager and service advisor falls far short of these expectations. It's clear that they prioritize their personal interests over the needs of their customers, and this reflects poorly on Wolfchase Honda as a whole. I hope that Wolfchase Honda takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issues within their service department. Service department online scheduling estimates and the actual service departments estimate did not match the invoice. Same online and dealer quoted services was performed, but was 65% higher on invoice. Had an issue with professionalism, while trying to get pricing corrected at the dealership. I'm changing my rating because Donnie the service manager called, listened to my concern and issued a store credit. I recommend getting the estimate printed off and signed before leaving your car, also require approval for any change in scope of repairs. read more

Honest & Reliable!! We were thrilled to have been assisted by Kenneth, one for the service advisers. We were traveling from out of state and our check engine light came on. We were nervous and we're unsure of finding an honest mechanic to assess and repair the problem. We decided to call the local Honda dealer which was WolfChase Honda...and we're so glad we did!! It was time for an oil change so they completed that for us. As far as the check engine light appearing, they told us early in that it was probably a fluke. Had we gotten any gas lately? Yes, I say, we did. They ran a diagnostic and no errors came up. They were honest with us and said that it was probably just a little air getting into the gas tank as we pumped the gas...and they were right. The light turned off on its own. Other places would have lied to us and charged us for non-existent problems but we thank God for WolfChase Honda. Kenneth and the crew does the Honda family proud. read more

We first started bringing our Hondas here in 2000. We've cycled through 3 Hondas at this dealer since then. We moved out of town for a few years and then came back recently with our new 4th Honda. We wanted to try AutoNation as it's closer to us, but they were fully booked 2 weeks out, even for an oil change. When I asked why they said they were short staffed. The serviceman who handled our intake at Wolfchase was ok. Not super friendly like some of the others I saw around his desk, but fine. However he didn't seem to remember anything we discussed over the phone when making the appointment, like what we needed or that we'd be waiting there. Don't they take notes? Also we had not been to the dealer for a while, and we were no longer in the system, at least via a phone number search. There's a complimentary car wash on the outside only. At the Honda dealers in the other city they always cleaned the interior too (they actually have dedicated cleaning crew) but they don't here. I did like the remodeled interior. Free WiFi was nice, which seems standard these days. The Honda dealers at the other city we lived at for a few years always had oil change and other specials going on. Many times I actually got free oil changes for no apparent reason, but I never paid more than $25. At this dealer it's almost three times that ($70). None of the local dealers have coupons on their websites I noticed. But there's only 3 dealers in town by the look of it, so when you dominate the marketplace like that I suppose you don't have to offer any incentives. Fine. I don't hold it against them. It's just economics. The other thing I didn't really like was the wait. It was 2.5 hours for an oil change and brake flush and that's with an appointment. At dealers in the other city I lived in an oil change is half an hour no appointment needed. Brake flush I don't know. I do like the roaming snack cart. That's a nice touch and they had a nice selection of snacks (but water only for drinks). I will try AutoNation next time I think and let ya'll know how that goes. read more

I bought a used CRV years ago for Mr. Greg King. Back then it was a positive experience. Mr. King listened to my concerns and worked with me through the buying process. He even programmed my radio for me and walked me through all the features after my purchase. I was so happy with everything we took a picture together next to the car. Fast forward and since my purchase I've had completely normal wear and tear with the car, so I've been pleased. I brought my car in to to have my spare tire put on because it went flat. I pulled in and they acted like they didn't understand my requests. To make things worse my car has an aftermarket exhaust system on it and I could hear them reviving it from the lobby. This was very un professional. Wolfchase, your service department failed the test with me. I have owned two Honda CRV's (including the one I drive) which were purchased at Wolfchase. Time was when Wolfchase employed some reasonably smart folks in the service department. From my visit there today, I could only conclude that they're now hiring bimbos off the street. First of all, both of my low beam headlights were out. I turned them on to show the gal, but the poor soul could not even tell whether they were on or off. She had to go get another person to look for her. Since they were out (which I knew), I requested to have them replaced. She smarted off to me that it would be up to the technician to determine if they needed to be. SO RIGHT HERE --- you have too stupid people working for you. Duh! It only stands to reason that, if they're out, they need to be replaced without anyone having to make that determination. By the way, see my notes below as to WHY one of them was out. The next issue was that none of the cigarette adapters were working, and I use those to charge my cell phone. While I am aware that those adapters may not work for various reasons, my first guess would be to look at the fuses. That's what anyone's first guess might be. But, by then, I had run the two females off and had a male come to help me. About the adapters, he said that would take a while to determine and cost me some $100 plus dollars to diagnose. DUH!~!!! As I said, let's look first at the fuses, because it's pretty likely that a 50 cent fuse will cure the problem. It was obvious that he wanted to scam me for all the money he could get out of me. I then went inside and asked to see the manager of the service department, whose name is Abdul Jones. Bless his heart, he wasn't quite through with his lunch yet, so he advised that it would be a little while yet before he could see me. I bet he's never missed a lunch or thought that, perhaps, a distressed customer might be just a little bit more important to his business than feeding his belly. I bet, had I given the message that I wanted to see him about buying a new car, his lunch would have very quickly become totally unimportant. After all this, I told them I knew someone who could look at the car very quickly and fix the headlamps and determine if there was an adapter fuse blown. I then took it to Uncle Dave's who had me out of there in an hour. And, lo and behold, the fuse was, indeed, blown. As for the head lamps, one of them was unplugged. Guess who the last one was to work on that headlamp? Yep - Wolfchase Honda. I've been driving around on high beam ever since Wolfchase last worked on that headlamp because the low beam wasn't working after they "replaced" it. So, Mr. Jones and Wolfchase, your reputation with me just sank to a bottom today. I definitely will buy another Honda when I replace my car, but there are many Honda dealerships all around, so I will not have to go to Wolfchase to get such car. As for automotive repair, there's plenty of good mechanics in Memphis who have enough sense to first check the fuse, rather than try to drum me up some $100 plus dollar bill just to look at it. I'd say you screwed up. Get rid of those idiots who are working over there and hire someone who knows the different in their little toe and their elbow. Today's experience quite reminded me of one some time ago when I sat in the waiting room while my car's oil was being changed. The techs began coming in and telling every customer in there that their car battery was tested and about to go out. Some of the fools fell for it. When it came my turn, I laughed in the guy's face and told him that what was going out was his tester - not people's car batteries. I told him I'd let him know when I had to replace it. This is for the service department. The shuttle to the mall does not rotate as it should so we were at the dealer for two hours and it never came. I had questions on the billing for the services but the cashier was not being helpful and seemed annoyed. At that point I wanted to get out of there since I was waiting so long so I paid it and left I will never return to this dealer for anything now. Some advice would be to make sure you have the shuttle have pick up and drop off times, cashiers that won't get annoyed when you have a question on the charges and have the keys ready when you tell us the car is ready. read more

I am a nervous person, dislike the negotiating process, confusing contracts and confrontation. Basically the worst person to have around when buying a car! Wolfchase made this car buying experience as easy as possible. Pricing was very fair and included some nice guarantees/benefits for buying a "Certified Used" vehicle. We worked with a sales agent named Allen McGonagill who provided fantastic service. The real winner is their service department under the leadership of one Abdul Jones. We had a problem with the vehicle that required multiple visits to resolve. Finally, they recommended we leave the car there for almost a week to make sure it was 100%. I kept waiting in my "glass half empty" way to be let down, however they took care of the problem completely. Repeatedly during this process they provided a rental vehicle at no cost (they have a rental agency at the Nissan dealer next door managed by a very nice fellow named "Bond, James Bond" seriously!) and even threw in other perks like a car wash, interior cleaning or a tank of gas for the inconvenience of each visit. These folks exceeded my customer service expectations in every way, even with a name like "Wolfchase", I did not feel threatened. You will have to buy a car sometime... I was stranded in Tenn, one of the major holidays.. needed a Honda Service center. These guys are one of very few places in the whole state that were open. Though they were swamped with work, they still took a look at my ride, and patched it up. Staff are friendly and helpful. But not every salesman knows all of their product. If you've done your homework, you may know more than they and may need to take time to show them what you need. Free wash with any service and the wash can be upgraded. If you don't use the wash that day, you can come back anytime. I believe it was shami-cloth, the soft cloth that doesn't leave marks on the finish. read more

I have never been pressured into buying anything I don't need, only suggested... The guys are always so nice and they really do have your best interest at heart. The cashier ladies are great too!! I recently bought a car through them and that was a pleasant experience and I did it all by myself bc I didn't fear being gambled out of my money. He knew my budget and helped me get a car within those means. Also they have a better waiting room than the hospitals!! Area for the kids and free coffee and snacks!! I worked with Abner who was a very professional sales person and he did his job well. His bosses however, specifically the Sales manager and finance manager were rude. They did not like explaining what $3900 "appearance package" is or why the doc fee is $799. Several other things also. They are rude and you are just a number to them. I negotiated a price on a vehicle online. I arrived at the dealership 30 minutes later to make the purchase and they attempted to switch vehicles on me with one that smelled of smoke. In both cases I wound up making my purchases at Auto Nation Honda & Nissan respectively way across town. Was told it would be 1 1/2 hours. 2 hours later... no word. 3 hours later... no word and I go back to speak with my service manager 'Dexter' who had apparently been on an extended lunch break. 4 1/2 hours later... Told my vehicle was ready and they tested the battery but it was good so they just charged it for me. Well 4 days later I'm stranded because my battery died again!!! This is about the service department. I hate having to take my car here anymore, but I still do because I get half priced oil changes. But after this time not being the first I probably will not be back. To mention my first few bad times, two of their techs have asked for my number and one of them got in my car after giving me my keys to ask for my number. The "transmission cap/cover" was not on when I looked under my hood a week later. To say that was them or not I am not sure but what a coincidence. I also have had appointments to get oil changes here, called them and made it, then got there and said they don't take appointments but will do it then I waited two hours. This time we dropped my car off on a Saturday at 1 for an oil change and new windshield wipers, they said they would call when it was ready. I told my fiancé they hadn't called around 4/5 but would give them more time and I looked up online and said they didn't close till 7. Called at 6 and they said THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT WAS CLOSED AND I COULDN'T GET MY CAR TILL MONDAY AT 8:30. I have to be at work at 8 and then to school at 5. The receptionist told us she couldn't do anything about it at all so we went up there at 6:30 and the sales manager, Tim mccrary, had to call someone to help him get it out of the shop then someone to help the receptionist for me to pay for it. He was very nice and apologetic but he couldn't do anything about the situation because he was a sales manager and I had to call Abdul Jones, the service manager, on Monday. The situation was "handled" very poorly (because technically nothing has been done about it besides Tim getting it for me when i went up there on saturday) and $101.00 later, I got my car on Saturday night by myself having to go up there because they never called me, or left me a voicemail. Like I said, this isn't the 1st or 2nd time something has happened. Put in an online credit app this week and 4 days later get a call some type of technical error so was never fully received so decided to go in today. Place is packed with new and used cars, salespeople but no customers. I see why. So unorganized . I test drove two cars and left in the one I came in. Sad when you go to a dealership ready to but and leave because just can't get the service and vehicle you need and it's not because they don't have the car but they just couldn't find anything. They have these generic cars up front you drive and then if you like it they will try and find you the color combo you want either in their backlot or across the street at the mall.
