I went to Auto Park Honda in Cary for a leak in my CRV's tire on December 1st. After the service dept checked it they stated no leak. Here again December 23rd for the same issue. I ended up buying a new Civic Si from Mark (Yingling), a natural salesman who was easy to talk to, honest, and never pushy. I will be a repeat customer, and Mark's now in my phone as "Honda guy". Mark was very responsive to my texts, calls, and requests, settling price via text and starting the paperwork in advance so that I could be in/out quickly. I was at the dealer less than 2 hours. I was a hard "no" on packages or dealer add-ons. I know these are where dealers make their lunch $, and while "no" #1 got respectful pushback, "no" #2 was taken in stride. I paid MSRP + dealer doc. fee + tax/tag/title. The Si are low-volume so I didn't try and haggle. I came with financing and they beat it (60 months @ 1.9%). read more

If I could give NO STARS I would!!!! Put in a credit application on Sunday, spoke with the dealership first thing on Monday morning to ensure they had received my application. I was told they did and would start working on it. Three hours later I was contacted to be informed that my credit application was incomplete and I needed to provide some more information. While I was on that call, another call comes through from someone else at the dealership stating that the car was SOLD! The manager on duty told me that people in the showroom take precedence over any ONLINE SALES. Thank goodness I didn't start driving 3 hours to pick up my new car thinking the dealership would have my paperwork in order when I arrived. I have visited Autopark Cary to get my car tuned and regular oil changes about 2-3 times a year. The customer service and work are usually consistent. They have always done a good job on my car. Most of the time, services take about 1-2 hours. There's a nice lounge area with free wifi, coffee, water, and snacks. I would recommend selecting a service agent and stick to it. The agent (no names) that I got the last time around had mood swings. Don't be afraid to say "no" to services that are offered to you. You can save a lot of money and do it by yourself such as filter changes. I'm a bit concern because the "Free Carwash" is part of the perks but the service agent says that it's broken 1/2 times when I ask. Either, they don't want to do it or they need to get a new car wash. Please don't advertise "Free Carwash" as part of the perks if it's not going to work most of the time. Maybe say something like "You can get a free car wash if we're in the mood to get you one". Sounds better right? read more

Next on my tour of dealerships, I stopped by Autopark Honda. I wanted a manual civic, and asked about their inventory. Unfortunately, they only had the LX model in manual. Still, I decided to take it for a test drive. And, you know what? It's not for me. I kind of feel like the gearbox in newer Civics just aren't that great, at least not in the LX version. I also realized I really wanted Apple Carplay, which isn't available in the LX. Now flash forward a little bit and I told the salesperson that I was ready to leave. I told her I wasn't interested in the car. She told me to stay and wait for the manager, and he can answer any questions I may have. Out of politeness, I waited. I really should've just walked out. The manager sat down and chatted with me for a little bit. He tried to offer $1000 off, saying the markup isn't that high on the car. He's right, but why would I buy a car I didn't want? I ultimately stopped him and told him I'm not interested in the car. I didn't want to waste anybody's time.This guy then felt the need to sneer and said "I bet you'd be interested if it were $5000 off." Then as I was walking out he yelled "$6000! $8000!" I don't know why the manager felt the need to be an asshole. I certainly wasn't one to him. I can tell you the Johnson dealerships next door don't treat you like this. read more

I got my Honda from this place a few years ago and they offer free oil changes when I'm at 15% oil life, which is so helpful and convenient considering getting an oil change can be up to 90$. I was nervous coming here by myself since I'm an 18 year old girl i was afraid they might take advantage idk lol, but I was definitely overthinking it! All the men that work there are super friendly and helpful and answered all of my questions! I double checked with them to make sure I'd get a free oil change and it was free! I will definitely come by myself every-time knowing I won't be scammed and knowing I'll be respected. They also changed my oil super fast even though he said it would be an hour! I love my current 2010 Honda Accord. Am I a fan of Autopark Honda? No. I am not impressed with the 2019 models, I test drove the Honda Civic Sport on this most recent visit. It lacked the bells and whistles in other cars for the same price. If you had to ask if 'I was pushy', chances are you were pushy. However, one of their selling points was free maintenance services for the vehicles I purchased. When I went to schedule my first oil change with them, they acted super dodgy, refusing to give me any information until they had my car in hand. I reported this information on google reviews and an ill-informed or dishonest web marketing presence claimed that they never do that. Bought my Honda Accord at Autopark Honda- came in today for an oil change and tire rotation. The oil change was complimentary since I bought the care from them ($100 quote from Jiffy Lube for same service) and paid around $45 for tire rotation and top off of fluids. I had a recall on my backup camera and they took care of that as well. Daniel was my service technician and was exceptional. He was professional, respectful and explained everything to me in detail. I waited in the lobby while the work was completed. It took about 90 minutes and I was in and out- very reasonable wait time. The accommodations were great too. Comfortable seating, ample space, complimentary water, coffee and delicious popcorn. PS- did you know that the popcorn box fits perfectly in the Accord cup holder :) Just to be transparent, I've never brought my car back to any dealer for service , I always thought it would be more expensive.... in this case, I got a free oil change, a free snack and free wifi- seems great to me. I had a great experience buying my car at the Auto Park and having service performed was better than expected. I highly recommend this dealership! read more

Mike the service advisor is great. However, other service advisors I've dealt with in the past at Autopark Honda promise things they don't do and don't respond when contacted with questions. For example, a certain item was on back order and I was told by the advisor that he would let me know when it came in so I could have the service that was needed. He never contacted me. I called AutoPark Honda a few months ago when I received the airbag recall letter from Honda and decided to take my car to this location since it is closest to my work. My information was entered into the system with VIN number and I was told I would get a call in a few weeks once the parts came in for the recall. Weeks went by and nothing. I then decided to call again to see when I could expect to bring in my vehicle for the airbag replacement. I called on Friday and I was told I could come in on Monday. That was great, yet I wonder if I had not called, was anyone ever going to call me proactively to help me get an appointment? I dropped off my car at 8am and checked in with Allison M. as my service advisor. I told her I would pick my car up at noon and get a ride with a coworker so 12pm was the time the car would be finished. The shuttle to work was great and I was on my way. At 11:30am, I called the main number to try to see if we were on schedule for the 12pm. I waited on hold on the switchboard for 8 minutes and hung up and called back. I was then transferred to the cashier who knew nothing of my car and not even sure that I would end up with the cashier for a recall item since there is no $ transaction. I finally talked to someone in Service and she knew nothing about my car either. By this point, it is 11:55 and I still don't have an answer. 11:56am- Alison calls and says she heard I was inquiring about my car. I told her I was because I was trying to get a ride to pick up my car for the 12pm time. I was so mad I hung up and said forget it and then a minute later Alison called again to tell me my car was ready (11:59am). When I picked up my keys from Alison, she was not pleasant at all and neither was I. She told me my car was in spot U7 in the far lot and it was not even there. I had to hunt for my car and when I finally found it, there was a screwdriver left in the car from the work. AutoPark Honda, you royally screwed up here and this is why I did not come here to by my car in 2004. All you have to do is learn about customer service, call your customers and give them updates, and learn to communicate. Thank you for fixing my car but I will not be back ever again. read more

I purchased my car (2018- 40k car) at another dealership but moved here. The old dealership gave me free oil changes for life but an hour drive is out of the way for a $40 oil change. The first time I brought my car in, they honored the free oil changes, didn't give me any issues and told me they would just transfer it to this dealer. How nice, right? I came in today expecting the same customer service and I will never be back. The service tech acted like he had never seen a free oil change and that there was no possible way someone had done that, even though I had the invoice to prove it. I asked to speak with the sales manager for him to say that I "don't deserve this service" because I didn't buy my car from him. Excuse me?? I didn't buy a $40k car to be treated like trash. Shame on Autopark Honda and their sales manager for thinking it's acceptable to treat their customers in such a way. read more

Disappointed with the service I received. I've bought two Hondas from Autopark. Took the CR-V in for the free oil change, and was upsold to a tire rotation and alignment. That's ok and was needed, but for some reason they over-inflated the four tires to 35 psi and torqued the heck out of the lug nuts which were not wheel locks. I have a large air compressor at home and keep my tires at the recommended pressures. They must have run the regular lug nuts on with an over-pressure impact wrench, since I needed a breaker bar to loosen. I did all this checking in preparation for a Thanksgiving trip--didn't want to have a flat and be struggling on the side of the road. I applied proper 80n/m torque to the alloy wheels per spec. The car handled kind of skittish with the over-inflated tires as well. Adjusted the tire pressure to proper 30 psi spec. I should not have to follow-up and correct the tech's work. Will be going elsewhere for any tire/alignment work in the future. read more

I had an 8am service appointment today and actually brought my car in at 7:30. I was told I would be called with a diagnosis. By 4pm, still no call. So I called them. I was told I would be called back. 5pm, no call back yet. So I called *again* and was put on hold for 15 minutes. Finally, I was told the wheel bearing needed to be replaced. Of course, by this point, it was too late to have it done by the end of the day, which is creating a huge hassle. I don't know. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but nearly 9 hours of waiting to get a diagnosis that I had to pry out of them seems a bit excessive. read more

I always request the same service advisors: Eldwin, Daniel, & CJ....because I know with them I am in good hands. Last month my teenage daughter brought her car in for service. Daniel knew that I was paying the bill, so he kept in contact with me & made recommendations for scheduled maintenance based on the multi-point inspection so I was sure that my daughter would be safe. This is my 2nd visit to Autopark Honda in Cary. The 1st to have a key made and the 2nd to have recalls on a vehicle taken care of. I was actually not looking forward to making an appt b/c I thought it would be a big hassle. I was pleasantly surprised that it was not only easy, the phone rep I spoke with explained that there is a limit to the number of recalls/week and she worked with my schedule so that I could drop off the evening before so my car would be the 1st group to be serviced. I called a couple of days before my appt and was reminded where to park and directions for key drop since it would be after hours. The next day I received a call that my car was ready to go. Pick up was just as easy. I was directed to go to the cashier's window to check out and they had someone drive my car up. To be honest, I thought someone was going to try to sell a service or inform me that my car needed lots of work. Nothing like that at all. I read some of the other reviews and will update if needed. I hope no bc this is my daughter's car and she is in school several hours away. read more

Is this Bait and Switch? I texted them around 1pm on 3/2/24 stating that I was coming from out of town to see a 2015 Honda they had advertised. They confirmed that the van was available so we set an appointment for 4pm that day. We drove over an hour to be told that the vehicle was sold already but they have some other options that were about $3,000 higher. I asked if the price on these higher vehicles were negotiable since they sold a vehicle that I was told was here and set an appointment to view it and he said no, they were No Haggle prices and can't be adjusted. I know they are in the business to sell cars, but if you set up an appointment and know someone is driving from out of town, the car should at least be held until I viewed it which was only two hours. They even could have texted me so I didn't waste my time. They made the sale but alienated a customer that is Definity going to spread the word on their Bait and Switch sales tactics.
