Pre qualification letters are a scam. Say they are good for 45 days if you meet criteria but it's a lie. They will hit your credit and take all your info just to offer you a rate 3 times higer than the "pre qulaification". Don't fall for the scam, they also already had my SSN and thier employee read it out TO ME. It's all a bait and switch. If you actually look for them on BBB they are NOT accredited as they say. If I could rate 0 stars I would. Completed my application after getting through Experian a refi offer for my current auto loan (pre-approved). Rolando called me the following day and said "Congrats! You've been approved! " HE then asked me for more details about my vehicle which I would assume he would need to be approved such as vin#, mileage confirmation, trim package on vehicle, etc. And that he would call back with the loan details. I never heard back until I text him back the following day! Hello! Did u forget about your client here? A couple of hours later he sends me a text telling me the lender wants $6800.00 down!! Lol!! What a joke! And asked is that something we can do?! WE can't do anything of the sort!! CAN YOU ROLONDO ! ? After that there's been ZERO contact! That's it.. that's all! Wow! What amazing follow up and lack of c.s. skills muchless sales technique/abilities! Don't waste your time and especially a hit to your credit they say won't hurt but it does! So shady! They sent me a pre-approval letter to refinance my recent vehicle purchase, but when I went to the site they immediately did a hard pull on my credit before showing me any options. I emailed them pissed, and the responded, but said since I already applied they should continue, and I agreed at that point. This resulted in a few more hard pulls, and an "offer" which they wouldn't tell me about until I provided them with tax returns, etc. What a joke. I'm not trying to buy a damn house. I bought this car brand new 1 year ago with no proof of income, and these guys need tax returns? So, now I have a bunch of hard pulls, and no new loan. What a joke. read more

These past five days trying to work with this company and get answers was not a good experience! So many phone calls, leaving messages where you need to wait 24 hours for a reply. The receptionist telling me (when I asked to speak to a manager) that she would have to text them and it would be around 5 days to get them to respond. She even mentioned that she did not have access to managers either. Just too much crap with this company. Yes, they did offer a lower Interest rate but not enough to move forward. I read Yelp reviews here and followed everyone else's lead- I went to my own bank and got even a lower rate and shaved off 3 years of my car loan. It's understandable why this company has 2 stars. A total disgrace. They send you a text message and e-mail, saying that you are approved. You never get to talk to a human. You have to leave a message for someone to call you back, who never does. They have plenty of time to text you though. Imagine waiting around all day for the person to call you to do the paperwork for a refinance. When you hear crickets, and text back the number, you get told, pretty much, "oh, never mind". The fee you pay to get the loan done is high. They will also not let you look at the loan fees with out them being on the phone. I guess so they can try to convince you to do the loan. If you have good credit then this is not the place to get your auto loan. THEIR FEES ARE THE PROBLEM NOT THE RATE. Don't know if you have bad credit. I guess my point is it is not a good deal and the click bait they put on their adds is miss leading.... BE WARE. They are also just a broker... So the real lender will probably lower the fees. So try going directly to them. In other words they just take on a large fee to send you to lender that will pay them for the loan. Why not just go directly to that lender. read more

Awkward process, hidden fees. Could not get the advertised rates I was able to get directly from the banks, was 1% higher thru AutoPay.

I have a car loan for my new auto (Nov 2023). I paid the balance down quite a bit so was looking to refinance at a lower rate. My initial conversation with them told me that they could beat my present loan but to do that I would need to go through the app process and incur one hard credit pull. I agreed and the process was started. I got a call a day or so later from a loan agent assigned to my case - needed to confirm some info. I was busy at that time so asked them to call back. After over a week of me calling back with no response, I elevated to her manager who reassigned my case to another loan agent. They told me the first place that did the hard pull could not beat my rate so they were checking other options - and ding, another hard pull. This second person was very responsive, but the APR on the new rate (although technically the interest rate was lower) was higher than my present loan (due to additional fees to be charged of over $500)! I declined and re-locked my credit to avoid any additional dings. Bottom line, end result was 2 hard credit pulls with nothing to show for it. Had they inquired into my credit with a soft pull, they could have seen I am 835/850 and could have saved me a lot of time giving me some representative rates. Don't waste your time with this outfit. read more

I recently applied to refinance my car with AUTOPAY and was given an offer that was more expensive than my current loan. I emailed my assigned loan specialist to tell them that I would not be accepting a more expensive loan, but I would be interested in hearing what other offers they had. They responded by sending me a screenshot (no greeting, no sign off, not even an explanation, just the screenshot) comparing the costs of my current loan to their offer, trying to showcase how their offer was a better deal. Problem was, the information they had listed on my current loan was inaccurate. I responded with a screenshot of my own, showing the actual differences between the two. The next business day, I get an email stating that they have stopped processing my application, but I can "re-apply with AUTOPAY at any time[!]" The absurdity of the entire situation is almost funny. Oh well, I'm going to do what I should have done in the first place and look into more local options. read more

AUTOPAY list erroneous auto refinancing options on Credit Karma. AUTOPAY gives the appearance that they provide loans. I wa was given 3 payment options based on my desired monthly payment and total amount of interest for the loan. My application was approved. When contacted, I was informed that AUTOPAY is not a financial institution. What they list on Credit Karma is a sham. My worst business experience ever. read more

This company is such a scam. They advertise very low rates online with excellent credit. Then they deceive you into applying resulting in a hard pull on your credit when they said it would only be a soft pull. Finally, they provide wholly uncompetitive rates (nowhere near what is advertised online--and I have an 831 credit score). Oh, and the cherry on top is they tell you it will take one to two weeks to fund your loan through underwriting. Stay far away. I went through a local credit union, got 3 percentage points better in an identical loan for a new car and got through underwriting in under 48 hours. Don't waste your time with autopay. read more

I received an item in the mail stating they could refi my auto loan at a better rate and save me money. After the ran the numbers they came up with a rate that was higher than the 3.2%. I was told over a week ago I was approved and I reached out to the loan officer several times and never received a call back. I then reached out to customer service, am placed into a que, and then silence. I've also did the text messaging with customer service and have been told twice I'd get a call back that day and still no response. I haven't paid my current car note because if I'm refinancing with them, it didn't make sense to do it. But I'm going to have to pay my car note within the grace period to avoid a late fee. I wish I would have came here before giving them my information. They do not even refinance your loan, they provide your information and credit to other lenders, which is why others are reporting identity fraud and other types of criminal activity. They provide your information to as many lenders as possible to try and get a deal. However, they are fine with providing your information to individuals that are actually criminals. I also received an advertisement in the mail soliciting being able to save me $85.00 on my car payment through a better interest rate. It was a little fishy already because I already had a good interest rate. So long story short even though I was only interested in decreasing my interest rate the lenders contacting me can only raise my interest rate and stretch my loan out to get a better payment. Wired the funds in full . The lien had been released for several weeks before the title was requested from AutoPay. What was taking so long? I found this out after taking the time out of my day to go to the dmv in person to get to the bottom of things. I finally received the title 2/22. I had to pay a penalty for registering my vehicle more than 30 days after purchase. That I was not refunded. read more

I did refinance with AutoPay. My rate was better then the original rate that I had prior to refinancing so that's the only reason why there is 2 stars. Be careful!!!! First off the rate that they quoted me changed last minute. Went from 3.9 to 4.7 with no real explanation. But it was still better then the 7.9 percent I was paying. During your refinance they will try and sell you a bs warranty plan that has horrible reviews on bbb. You do t need it. They won't cover you. Second is gap insurance. They keep trying to add gap insurance. In the end the rate was better so I went forward but just be aware when your working them they are trying to sell you and up charge you whenever they can. Look over everything before you sign. A lot of people have had the same experience of rates going up. read more
