With that being said, I called a loan company that you guys work with and was offered a quote, terms and answered my questions and they are sending me a loan. Within one day. But nobody on your team, called me and went over all the steps, process time frame etc. Which I can do within hours at worst. Plus your so called loan advisor, has now texted me again. Oh sorry I was on vacation. Was the wrong response. Still no e-mail with quotes, rates, fees. You do charge fees, its not a secret. Hint always be transparent with everything and also your fake teaser rate (2% to 6%). Is 1000% a flat out false advertising, inaccurate and not true. You will not get my signature or my business. I am clearly not important and will not give you my money. Its pointless to provide my loan specialist name, cause he is not at fault. This was only supposed to be a soft pull until they found a rate I was comfortable with pursuing then I got a notification that there was a hard inquiry on my credit report by a credit union that I had already told them I wasn't interested in! read more

The process to refinance was easy. The rep that I spoke with was very helpful at the beginning. After he got his sale from me I has follow up questions he stopped responding before the loan transfer was complete. Fast forward to 3 months later I haven't received my Title. I've call 2 separate times to find out where my tilte is and they keep telling me to call back in a few days. I finally had enough and asked for a supervisor and was told they dont transfer calls and there is no way for me to speak with a supervisor. I've never hear of a company that won't allow you to speak with someone higher up. I was considering refinancing another car through them but I've definitely changed my mind! read more

Financed a lease buyout through this company and it's been comedy of errors and delays. My initial application was followed by a quick approval, and then a months-long delay on actually obtaining the financing. While customer service was always pleasant, my loan officer was hardly available and unresponsive. Pleas to his "manager" for information on the loan process resulted in nothing -- promised call backs never occurred. A process that should have taken a week or two with any other lender, took 2+ full months to complete. In addition, Autopay delayed my title paperwork processing 2 full months, and just informed me it may be another 10 weeks before I have the proper paperwork to reregister my car. Then hooked me up with an out of State lender that uses multiple business fronts to scam financial processes. Been waiting for 3 months to get refunded nearly $1000 Gap insurance I cancled tbe day after I got the loan. This insurance was 2x more than the standard rate for Gap, because it went into Autopays pocket. No no no no no no DO NOT USE THEM TO HELP REFINANCE YOUR VEHICLE!! I had a representative to contact me to tell me my application was approved then didn't return my phone call. I finally just called him back. He then went to explain how busy he's been blah blah blah but my credit with Experian showed a repo from 2017 that i never knew I had but because of the repo he couldn't get me approved for the refinance with over 100 plus institutions. All of a sudden he found one, First Investors Financial Services Group Inc. OMG these fraudsters have so many complaints against them for over a decade now with the FTC for distorting consumer credit records and with the BBB for debt harassment, not applying overpayments to the principal balance etc. Anyhow, the rep told me in order for us to proceed i would have to purchase gap insurance (I do not need), get my car registered again because my registration expires in September, show proof of insurance that has a expiration date over 90 days (mind you mine automatically renews after 6 months), 3 months check stubs plus bank statements & my social security statements. What in the good Lords name is going on Im asking myself when I've never been late on my current loan & i was only shopping around for a better rate! I would give zero stars if I could. First, they sent me the wrong paperwork to get notarized so I had to go twice. Keep in mind, YOU have to pay out of pocket to get things notarized. Then, they send me texts randomly saying they need this or that. Like I needed updated check stubs because the one I sent was outdated by the time I had sent the new, correct notarized paperwork. So now they're saying my file is closed because it took too long and I can re-apply if I would like to. Absolute garbage company and complete waste of time. This company is full of workers that don't valuer the older adults using hir system. They haven't a clue as to the residency laws and banking laws and how they were changed after 9/11 20 years ago. Their beliefs that all people live on the grid and have mail delivery service is unwavering. They dont understand the verification that is used by the 911 system and what it takez to apply an address to a property that is off grid for residency. They dont understand that not 100% of the population has mail delivery and uses a POBox and what that intails to qualify today and how the federal government uses the 911 system along with the county Verification of property occupation and development. Their employees are unwilling to learn this! Their employees believe that older applicants are obselete and not knowledgable or valuable. The people that work there are incrediably incompetent. They lied about the ability to pay and track the loan online. I was forced to either send a physical check every month, or give them my bank account info for ACH payments. Recently they withdrew a double payment for no reason and without explination. It took multiple calls on my end to get a hold of someone who then told me that they had me scheduled for someone to call me. Fast forward 2 weeks later and I'm told by the representative that she only takes phone calls once a day because she gets busy with other calls. Totally unacceptable way to conduct business. I applied for a loan through a Credit Karma suggestion that I could save $30 a month on my car loan by refinancing with them. The process was easy up front but wouldn't tell me my rate, loan term or payment amounts without "speaking to me first due to privacy reasons". This is the ridiculous - i just refinanced my $200k HOUSE to a new mortgagee and not one single time did I have to speak to someone. I've got no desire to sit and listen to someone try to convince me why I need to take their loan. If you can't even provide me a rate (which incidentally why you couldn't release that due privacy reasons??? it's a rate- that has nothing to do with privacy????) so that I'm not wasting my time and can compare to my existing loan I can tell you that I don't want anything to do with his company. read more

My wife even changed her evening appointments to accomodate this call. Autopay could not be bothered to call us when they are the ones that set up the apointment and we moved our evening around to be on that call with them. They showed us how little our time means to them! There is no way we would ever move forward with a company that thinks so little of potential customers! When we said we will not attest to everything being correct/true when there's nothing filled out, the loan officer said that he could have their title department fill it in before we sigh, but it would probably cost us the loan. Andrew Phipher, loan consultant, called me after I clicked on a refinance opportunity referred to me by credit Karma. He sounded very nice and helpful at first and told me about the great rate they would be able to get me. He insisted on also including the gap insurance and extended warranty options. I told him I did not need these and declined. He said ok and told me he would have the loan agreement prepare based on what we had discussed and I was preapproved for after completing their online application. A couple days later he called me back to go over the loan agreement, which involved a DocuSign electronic signature process that must be completed while on the phone with the loan consultant. He used pressuring tactics to get me to start signing all the pages. Ignoring this I scrolled to the bottom of the agreement to fund there was a gap insurance fee and the great rate I was already approved for jumped up about 4 points adding thousands of dollars in interest over the life of the loan. The refinance loan would set me back to almost the original loan amount that I started with over 2 years ago. Would be a super lousy deal to sign off on even though he still insisted this was a great deal for me. Yea right... When I questioned him on this his cheery demeanor suddenly went sour. I simply asked why it changed and why the gap insurance was included. He would not provide an answer at first and eventually raised his voice telling me this is what the credit union provided. Someho I don't think the credit union added a gap insurance fee and other "misc" fees. When I told him I did not want the gap insurance he seemed upset and at that point I knew this company was not doing things upfront and honestly. Stay away from these guys. They do not have the customers interest in mind and will be sneaky adding extra fees which will most likely end up costing the customer more than what they were expecting to save by refinancing. Not worth it. Went with ILendingDirect and ended up with a better interest rate and no extra fees. Only few was the documentation fee, which will be in any loan you choose. I was disappointed my bank even referred me to this service. They are a lending broker, also go by "the savings group". They did knock $75/mo off my payment but at the expense of signing a loan worse than what I have now. 7 years and $22,000 later to "refinance" a car I'll own free and clear in less than 3 years. Plus losing my actual extended warranty I paid money for. Which was far less than the "service contract" they throw in that I didn't ask for. Promising I'll get a check for equity in my gap coverage, remaining extended warranty, etc if I sign. Glad I read thru it and didn't sign anything. Asked a ton of questions, which they answered only to being accused of trying to facilitate a straw purchase (I had to look it up) based on my findings they were completely out of line, misinformed and quite frankly I would chalk it up to discriminatory business practices! I now have a hard pull on my credit which I was trying to avoid unless I was sure I was going to do business with them. Upon filing my complaint with the better business bureau I discovered they had a 1.43 customer ranking (very poor). This business is shady, stay away, there are more reputable lenders/brokers out there. I will be letting NerdWallet know this business is not reputable (where I found their information) and I will be disputing the hard pulls on my credit report. I just got a answering machine message saying that I had reached Autopay, etc. I have never even tried to apply for an auto refinance and yet their text messages state that they've received my refinance request and that my auto refinance is looking good... Autopay brokered my refinance and the representative that processed the paperwork was Matthew Waring. After months of going back and forth between the originator of the loan, Autopay, and the refinancing bank, I decided to stand in line at the DMV for 3 hours to find out who indeed is the lienholder for the car, so I can get a notarized letter releasing the lien on the car. To my surprise and dismay, I find out that AUTOPAY is the lienholder of the car, and they never even sent the Title to the refinancing bank (The bank I paid the remaining balance to). AUTOPAY is now ghosting me and by the looks of it from the DMV, has stolen my car. I am in contact with an attorney now, as I'm pursuing legal action against Autopay. read more

Pre qualification letter received in mail is misleading. This company is a marketing company that is a third party. Communication is not consistent, I submitted for a refinance on a new vehicle and was denied, balance of vehicle was zero. Application cancelled, had to call them to question the cancelled email. Per rep, the person reviewing my application "hit wrong button. Autopay wanted to complete a new application, told them no to use the current one. A new application would allow them to run my credit again. Advise if you're wanting to refinance use a local bank or credit union. Won't use them again! read more
