ILending earned a big fat F today b/c of a so-called rep by the name of "Andrea Langley" who supposedly gave me her own personal mobile number of (720) 545-9813 which after we hung up I tried to call her back b/c I had thought of a co-signer only to be told by some man that I had the wrong number at which time I immediately put a freeze on 2 of the 3 credit report services as I already had one on the 3rd service. But, no fear b/c God's Got This & has already settled the score in my favor with Satan & his henchman "Andrea from iLending" who popped up when I was contacting TU re: my credit report score & credit monitoring b/c until then I had never heard of iLending! Submitted a rate inquiry for an auto refinance on lending tree. I'm still way below current market rates so I stopped entertaining offers. These guys are so pushy, after I blocked them, they used a different number. I block that, they tried another. I have I believe 7 unique blocked numbers from this company. The "loan officer" from the company made it a point to remind me that he did not use text that often to communicate and when he called (which was not that often) I was supposed to drop everything that I was doing to connect with him. He promised me he would call me back on a Monday and well, he could not be bothered to call back until a week later. Did not submit my loan application to any bank like he said he would. Also got angry because he took his valuable time to call me and I was wasting his time. Advise to look elsewhere for competent service for an auto loan. read more

Unfortunately, i didn't realize that there was a $900 discrepancy until i had signed all the paperwork and the loan was finalized. $400 in doc fees (NEVER DISCLOSED UP FRONT) $500 in interior/exterior coverage (NEVER DISCLOSED UP FRONT) These fees were added to the loan and unfortunately i did not catch it in time. I signed in good faith believing that the documents reflected what had been disclosed and nothing else. READ EVERYTHING. DO NOT AUTOMATICALLY SIGN USING DOCUSIGN . Go through each page. I filed a prequal application for auto refinance and received 4 offers from 4 different companies. When the guy called to talk about his offer I politely let him know that their offer was higher than others so I would be going with another company. He proceeded to argue with me stating I was wrong then hung up on me when I was thanking him for his time. So rude, thankfully dodged that bullet. Beware and stay away. read more

RUN FROM THIS PLACE! I received a mailer from them, and did a quick online search before calling. Saw lots of very positive reviews (which I now think are most likely false). My rep, Luis, promised me I would get approved at a much lower rate. That turned out to not be the case. The initial rate he offered me was only 2 points lower and the loan was a longer term (72 months) for a measly savings of $40 a month. I said no to this and Luis said he would see what he could do. He did another hard pull on my credit (without my authorization) and came back with a much lower rate, but still a 72 month loan term. I told him I needed a shorter term loan, and he told me it wasn't possible "because it's just how we do things". First red flag! Luis then calls me back with a 60 month loan term. I said OK, and he sent me the loan docs. However I was unable to read them until he called me with an authorization code. He then expected me to sign all the docs while on the phone with him, without being able to read them over in detail. Lots of red flags and alarm bells start going off now. Something seems really wrong, to rush a customer into signing loan docs without sufficient time to read the fine print. I refused to sign on the spot and Luis told me I could read over the docs and he would call me the next day at an agreed upon time. He didn't call, which turned out to be a good thing, as I was able to review all the complaints on the BBB website, and read the reviews here. Lucky for me I found out the truth about this place before getting stuck in a more expensive loan with hidden fees. I did take 2 hard hits to my credit which stinks, but it could have been so much worse. DON'T EVER LET ANYONE RUSH YOU INTO SIGNING A LOAN DOCUMENT! read more

iLending is a scam!!! I was trying to lower my interest rate for my car loan with capital One. I was paying 8.36 %. I did some research online and I found ilendingdirect. I thought it was a legit company that was gonna help me lower my interest rate. I was working with Elizabeth Pantoja on my new car from ilendingdirect. My original car loan was for $19,286.33, I only had $11,811.15 left to pay. Elizabeth said she could get me a better interest rate for 5.290%. I was extremely excited however I received a letter in the mail saying the new loan amount was for $16,145.00!!! They only paid $11,811.15. I realized I got scammed. I was never explained that I'd be charged an extra $5000 for lowering my interest rate. read more

READ ALL OF THE COMPLAINTS FILED ON THE BBB WEBSITE BEFORE GIVING ANY PERSONAL/FINANCIAL INFO TO THESE PEOPLE! IT'S A SCAM AT BEST! I dealt with Lukas Nelson who took my info and told me he would call me the next day but I never heard back from him even after several attempts to reach him via text, direct line and office. He also ran a credit check without my permission. So after several days I looked up this company on the BBB website a read all of the complaints, wishing I'd done so beforehand. They found me thru lendingtree.com as did several other lenders, including another that I gave my info to that also had many complaints. Better to go with a bank or credit union. read more

Tried to get my car refi'd - first I was bombarded by a zillion phone calls. After I did get in contact with a couple of reps, it was like pulling teeth to get them to give me info on my loan. Both reps were unresponsive, not helpful with no follow up. Very poor experience. I ended up going with Caribou lending through Credit Karma and had a way better experience. read more

These guys are terrible at communication, execution of their actual job, and they're very misleading and not upfront about any costs. Allow me to explain. My first issue I had was when I initially applied for refinancing of my vehicle, they contacted me, I submitted all the information they asked for, and it took them a month a half to actually process the paperwork. Because they took so long, I had to re-submit all of my information, such as IDs [which my wife had to renew because she was then closer to her expiration date], odometer readings, insurance, loan documents. I also had to re-submit the paperwork they had sent me to fill out due to my wife having to get a new ID with her legal last name. The entire process was very frustrating, and very time consuming. Another issue I had was their inability to be upfront about costs. Now yes, I realize costs are typically outlined in the paperwork, but we know very well that not everybody sits there and reads every line of information on official forms. That said, usually I do read everything, but I was so frustrated with the first issue I described, that I had skimmed over some parts. I had no idea they were going to charge me for processing the paperwork. I thought they made money by getting us the refinance through whatever financial institution the client is approved for. Additionally, when these guys offered me a 129,000 mile warranty, they weren't upfront about the costs on that, either. In fact, it was said, and I quote, "Your refinance loan will come with a 129,000 mile warranty". I interpreted that as it being free. There was no mention of a price tag associated with it up until I saw it in the DocuSign forms that outlined the cost. It was very misleading. I plan to get a second car in about 6 months, but I am certain I won't do business with you guys again. In fact, from here on end, I plan to just do business directly with the financial institution. read more

I needed to refinance my auto loan because my auto loan at the time charged fees for early payoff and had a limit to how much I could payoff per month. I filled out my refi application with iLendingDIRECT. The agent who helped me said I was approved for a lower rate and there were no early penalty fees. He gave me the rate and it was a little bit better then my loan at the time. I admit that I rushed this process and I thought the agent I was dealing with was working for the loan company. iLendingDIRECT is not a lender but they are a third party. I mistakenly rushed through the 9 page contract and signed each page, while the agent was on the phone. The agent did not explain any of the legal jargon and fine print. I admit that I should have read the contract better, especially the fine print in the corner of page three that contained the $500 document handling fee. I did not know about this fee until I received the loan info in the mail stating that my auto loan was now $500 more than it was supposed to be. The agent never communicated to me in our emails and phone conversations that there would be a document handling fee of $500. I was obviously upset and felt blindsided. The supervisor Barry was helpful but said his hands were tied, and offered me a $25 gift card which I said, "no thank you". The conflict resolution specialist, Aliyah, contacted me and was unhelpful. She stated that the agent adhered to the Colorado state rules. She stated the agent did his job and did everything by the company standards. Well, IF HIDING FEES, NOT BEING TRANSPERENT, OVERPROMISIING AND UNDERDELIVERING, AND NOT MEETING THE NEEDS OF CUSTOMER is the way you do business then he did the job right. This was an expensive lesson to be learned. But I will eat the $500 and stay away from predatory lenders (Or in this case 3rd party lender middlemen). read more

Our consultant name was Phil Johnson he was prompt and willing to answer all our questions and made the process easy and simple. We are now recommending them to other friends and family. Please BE AWARE that this company is unethical! They have written most (if not ALL of the 5 star reviews on their page) as you can tell. On Google, possibly here as well! They have created new profiles in order to write these reviews even mentioning employees by 1st and last name. lol! When people do business with someone they usually don't take the time to remember or mention these things! We worked with Robert and the communication was horrible! Messages were never responded to. We had to chase the company down for an answer and finally, when we were passed on to someone else, they mentioned the company that approved us wanted $4000 down at a 35% interest rate, which is unheard of and absolutely absurd! They guy I spoke with (A Manager!) said "yeah that's why we didn't call and let you know because we knew it wasn't great deal". Really?!..? So, Robert no longer wanted to do with us because our credit wasn't good enough seeing as how we were turned down, by a few other companies (submitted to many of them! without us knowing/Lied, but said that they had only ran our credit once as a hard pull and shared that with the loan companies so it wouldn't affect our credit)(LIES!), but they also didn't want to take the time to inform us so that we could at least move on to another company. Thanks for taking upon yourself to prolong our rough financial situation and waste our time! In this call, I informed them that we were already working with someone else, told them to hold off (after he said he guarantees us approval if he submits to another loan company). "I said absolutely not! Let's see what this other company says 1st. I will call YOU, if we are not approved." We then get a letter from the exact company he told me would say yes (+ 3 more) and found out that they went ahead and sent our information and an application through WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION! and we were denied... these are also on our credit report! To top it off, they added an additional $4000 to the loan amount, which is probably why we got denied, the car's not worth that much, but they wanted to pocket it so, therefore they did what they wanted!!!!!!! DO NOT do business with these Shady middle-men!!! read more
