First - my car... has the most dog hair of any car you will likely see. Seriously. I have 3 65 pound dogs and one sits in the back (a shepherd) and we hadn't had it detailed in months. I wouldn't even offer friends rides bc - nahhhhhh my car is gross! We just moved to Concord from Chicago so were looking for a new detailing company when we found Sal (Ultimate Mobile Auto Detail). He was (very!) prompt, worked on the SUV for so many hours, and it's immaculate now. Sal did an amazing job! There was a whole quarter panel that had scratches on them and he was able to buff them out and make the car look brand new! I thought the interior was pretty good, and till Sal went in there and came out and said that there was obviously someone with an animal and there was dog hair in the carpeting. I had no idea! My car just joined the 100k mile club so I figured I'd do something nice to reward his service. Gave Sal a holler on a Wednesday and was able to schedule an appointment for Saturday. Sal was able to provide an estimate for the cost based on my vehicle type which stayed consistent after service as well. Sal showed up about ten minutes early and finished my full auto detail close to SIX(!) hours later. I was terribly hungover and I felt awful I couldn't make this poor guy a great breakfast or something because he absolutely busted his ass on my car. And the results were mind blowing. I didn't really know what to expect, but whatever my expectations were, were completely blown away. The car looks brand new. He was able to get micro scratches out of the doors and quarterpanels. I had a few darker stains/discoloration on the seats he was able to get out. Even common wear areas like arm rests and consoles looked like they did the day I bought the car. The leather was conditioned, carpets shampooed, vents and door handles cleaned... He seriously covered every inch of my car. I couldn't believe how hard he worked and the results. Sal is incredible!! This is the second car he has detailed for our family and each time it is the same-meticulous and pristine. I called Sal and he was able to come two days later! I chose to only have the interior detailed and Sal was upfront and honest with me. He told me the stains in the seats and carpets I was so concerned about most likely wouldn't come out but he would try his best. I really appreciate the honesty and the effort! Let me tell you, I called 3 different mobile detailers and Sal was the only one that answered his phone. I called on a Sunday and he was going to schedule me on to a day that he was open but I told him that I was not from the area and will be flying back home in 2 days so I will just schedule with him on my next trip up. Sal came recommended from a friend and I couldn't have been happier with his work. Our car had sustained months of water build up from a leaky sunroof and you can image how bad that smelled. Sal used a special machine to disinfect the car and then he shampooed the floors and front seats. It came out great but the smell of the shampoo was a little strong for my taste. read more

I liked Sal and found him reliable and trustworthy. But I'm only giving 3 stars because my boyfriend had his car done to the same level of detail at a car wash place, it took far less time, cost less, and they did just as good a job. Still if you don't want to travel or wait in line at a car wash place, Sal's your man. Pros: --Sal actually returned my call within 24 hours and he showed up on time the day of my appointment. --Had my car back to me in the time he said he would (though he did take 4 full hours) and charged a reasonable price. --Did a beautiful job! My car is very clean inside and out. And he cleaned the things I was most concerned about. Cons: --Apartment dwellers beware: Sal didn't tell me he doesn't supply his own water supply. I live in an apartment building, so I did not have access to a water spigot. Luckily he was able to wash my car in a nearby church parking lot a block away from my house. But it would have been better to know this in advance. --My car smelled like cotton candy for weeks afterwards (I would have preferred something like "pine" or "new car" smell.) --He treated my interior with Armor-All, which left the car shiny clean. However he treated the steering wheel too and it left it very slippery. I had to clean my hands for weeks after I got out of my car. Also I had to re-clean my windows after I got it back because they were also smeared with Armor-All. And since then my windows now have this 'mottled' appearance. Not sure why as I've had my car detailed before. Maybe it has something to do with the over-generous Armor-All treatment? read more

I told him I wanted just a basic interior and exterior, but he went above and beyond, doing all the cracks and crannies, inside all the little compartments, under the floor mats, lifted up my 3rd row fold down seats, etc. And a very reasonable price. read more
