Always broken. For years the right side brushes have been broken. After about a year, they fixed it. Then six months later it's broken again. People don't usually notice because of all the water that their right side of the car is not getting clean. I fixed it. They usually have the guy on the Wright spray the car before you go in. I'm not a fan of these slap-your-paint-off spinning strands/strips car washes but sometimes you have to close your eyes and hum a happy song. Lil Bear is one of the better ones overall. Today two individuals did a pre spray and a pre power rinse. The machine put out lots of the colorful soap or whatever. And I watched carefully, the spinning strands didn't seem as aggressive as some other washes I've been thru. The only things I would like to see is 1/2 people to dry the car real quick after the air blow (a similar wash in another city has that). But I understand, more employees, more space for a car to pull over for a minute of two, etc. Overall, Lil Bear is good. Try them. read more

If I need quick rinse, I come here. By no means is it a full on car wash. It's a drive thru. You choose 1 of the 2 options, get on the rollers, they pre-water your car and the rollers take you the rest of the way. Is it safe? Probably not. I have an older car so I'm whatever about these places. I don't think any drive-thru car wash is safe with those thing smacking up against your car. For a quick rinse/wash, I come here. Happy to find a place for quick and effective car wash. Tried the $12 Better Bear. Staffs were friendly. The pre-rinse and soap spraying by staff prior to going through the tunnel helped with the cleaning and the car was cleaner compared to other drive throughs. read more

This is a fairly simple express wash facility offering a couple vacuums on site to clean the car interior and a drive-thru car wash with attendants on site to spray down your vehicle before entering the tunnel, smart way to prevent super dirty cars (like mine, covered in bird poop) from ruining the quality of the wash. No "basic bear" wash offered, so #2 (better bear) for $12 is their cheapest wash option as of August 2023. We had a party in the car, surrounded by rainbow suds (blue, pink, and green) and colorful lights in the tunnel, before the blow dry at the end. So much fun for 12 bucks!! My car came out definitely ten times cleaner, and better than expected. Not flawless,  probably cuz I didn't get the "best bear", but I'm not here to nitpick. Barely any interaction with staff, just select the preferred wash and pay. Quick and easy. No complaints. read more

This is a great place to wash your car! The price is reasonable ($12-$14 for the works) and my car usually comes out of the drive through car wash spotless! I recently used their vacuum service (which is an additional cost- about $2 every 5 minutes- i needed about 20 minutes and the vacuum worked well) the down side was that there were no towels provided or other cleaning supplies but luckily i had sanitizing wipes. I always appreciate the complimentary air freshener and disinfectant wipe that they offer. I came here to use the self-service car vacuum. It costs $2 for 5 minutes, but ONLY ACCEPTS BILLS with no option for change, which can be inconvenient if you don't have exact cash. There are two vacuum stations, but one was out of service when I visited. The working vacuum did the job, but it would be nice if they maintained both stations and provided a way to get change or pay with credit card. read more

Beware - rough wash that damages your car with no recourse from management. We've been taking our two cars here off and on for years. But we've been for the last time now. The car wash grabbed and severely bent our rear windshield wiper mechanism last weekend. When discussed with the manager, they pointed to the sign saying that damage is only covered if the car is less than 5 years old. This is not a quick/easy fix. The motor arm itself is bent and will be hundreds of dollars out of pocket to fix. Will never return here. read more

Whenever I get a car wash, my license plate always bends probably due to the brush strength

I've been coming here for years, before the renovations, and before price hikes but last week was my last visit. The staff always consists of teenagers who don't want to be there. Sometimes there are people power washing, sometimes there are people pre scrubbing, sometimes there's nobody. I always get the most expensive $14 Best Bear car wash but even the renovated machines don't do a good job of cleaning and have now damaged my car. High power wheel washers have completely ripped apart the coating of my hubcaps, SO MANY spots where dirt and bird poop are not cleaned off, and the dryer turbines at the end do a horrible job at drying. People bring their own towels to manually dry off their own cars after driving through. During my last visit, the tracks at the very end stopped pushing my car before I hit the dryers. I had to put the car in drive then back to neutral to give my car a little boost to keep moving so the car behind me didn't get pushed into mine. This is a huge safety issue and needs to be addressed immediately. read more

First time there. Great wash and dry- all machine done - and had no wait. For years did the expensive vacuum and wash( always trying to sell me yet other services/ including a tiny blemish in the paint job I had never noticed before. ) Easy to drop $ 55 while waiting and waiting for my car. The price at Lil Bear was great- especially in comparison... but when factoring in MY TIME and managing all the not wanted upselling- i plan to return to Lil Beat. Used to come here regularly, so when a bird pooped all over my car I figured this was a great answer. NO it wasn't. Looks like there's been a change in ownership, hard to tell. But, there were men on my left and right with the brushes to scrub, so I know that they saw the dried poop (white on a dark brown car). And after I left I came home happy that my finish wasn't being damaged further. Except that the bird poop was still there, pretty much untouched. I had to hand scrub it off, which was tough since my shoulder doesn't like me doing that sort of movement any more. Will I recommend Li'l Bear, or ever use it again? Absolutely not. read more

I went to this car wash today ( 11/12/2022 ). The car wash puts your car on a track that sends you through it on neutral. It's supposed to dry your car in the end and you put your car in Drive and move forward to finish drying and off you go. While my car was finishing up on the process of washing, car in front of me just sitting there and wasn't moving at all. My car is on a automated track pushing forward, almost hitting the car in front, so I had to put break on my car. When car in front finally started moving, I let go of break and let auto rail guide me through the end of the car wash process and then all of a sudden the car behind me hit my car and leaving scratches on my car's back end. The car behind me stopped to talk to me and we both thought it was not our fault at all. His car was on neutral and so was mine. If they had put someone in the end of the car wash to guide cars not to stop and stay there, this would not have happened. Also they should leave enough space between each car to finish washing cycles. They put cars after cars, not leave enough space between. I wanted to talked to someone in charge, but this guy who is probably a teenager had to call his boss, and his boss told him to tell us that it was not their equipment damaged car, therefore it should be us drivers who have to dealt with this incident. But I told him to tell his boss that it is their system is failing, they need to take care of this incident. This teenager ( Emon ) gave me a piece of paper and asked me to write incident report on this blank paper. When I finished writing, I asked him to give me someone I can reach out in case nobody call, he said he can not give me his boss's phone number. So he gave me his phone number instead ( It should be the adult handle these kind of things not young kids ). I hope someone call me from li'l Bear Car Wash for this incident. What a cool concept! * Full Disclosure: If you're claustrophobic or get motion sickness, this is not the car wash for you * You enter the car wash direct from the street onto a pathway that leads you to attendants awaiting your arrival. A board of services is on the wall detailing available services. You tell the attendant the service # you'd like, they write it on your windshield and off you go! As you approach the wash, there are signs instructing you to place your car in neutral as your tires hit the conveyor belt - yes folks, it's like a mini-Disneyland ride lol - As your car auto cruises into the wash, you're greeted with disco-like lights and a tv display of a digital aquarium for your viewing pleasure. The wash does it's thing and before you know it, you're dropped off at the end off the conveyor belt and off you go again back into drive. It is a pretty cool concept for a drive-thru car wash. As mentioned above, if you tend to get motion sickness or are claustrophobic, I would stay away, as the conveyor belt sloooowly inches your car forward (kind of like a slow stop-n-go traffic) and it is dark inside and feels enclosed. If those things don't bother you, I say, give it a try! read more

I've been trying to find a good car wash in the Walnut Creek area ever since I moved here. I wish car washes were as abundant in the Bay Area as they were down in San Diego. A bird had the squirts on my windshield and I desperately needed a car wash. I found Li'l Bear Car Wash on Yelp and decided to check the place out. It costs around $10 I think for a basic wash. I wish they had free vacuums and towel service or at least air fresheners haha like they do down at the SD car washes. read more

I held off on posting this review until I confirmed the damage was from the wash. After seeing other reviewers pictures of damage to their car as well, it should be a no brainer to AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE COVID. The car wash puts your car on a track that sends you through it on neutral. Apparently while it's doing that, it carves a line into your paint the whole way down. I got the damage off with a magic eraser. It seemed to have a plastic like material on top of the paint. Very strange, I have no idea how this would happen. Do not come here unless you want to be scrubbing a magic eraser on your car, or worse. I really don't care about the work ethic of teenagers at a car wash, but damaging a car like this during the wash should NEVER happen. read more

I honestly thought this place was pretty good, at least for my purposes! If you're like me and you don't have a fancy or extremely dirty car, then this will work for you. My car was moderately dirty and had a lot of ash covering all the windows from the recent smoke due to the Dixie Fire. $9 for the basic wash, in and out in under five minutes. It kind of feels like an amusement park ride before you go in, with the "Bear Falls" entrance and cartoon bears. And then you see the blue flashing lights inside, and you truly feel like you're at some local county fair on a rickety 30-year old ride, but you risk your life anyway for the thrill. Coupled with my already established claustrophobia, my hands were for sure sweating a little as I inched closer. If you have serious claustrophobia, I wouldn't do this. I have to say I was a little nervous because I have a crack going down my windshield and when I asked the guy if that would be OK, he goes, "Oh, it's *probably* going to be fine" as my car began to crawl into the wash (you will put your car in neutral and take your foot off the brake...the car wash has a belt that pulls your car in). So, my anxiety and heart rate were up during the first minute of this wash, just bracing myself for my entire windshield to come crashing in on me and the huge wipers to suffocate me in true Final Destination fashion. Well, none of that happened, luckily. Wash was totally uneventful other than successfully scrubbing off the bird poop and ash coating on my little car. I would recommend this place in a pinch and I would go here again! read more
