Great info from staff. Quick service. I was very pleased with my experience for my annual inspection.

Stopped in to top off tire pressures and check transmission fluid level. They were quite busy but fit me in and did it for free.

BAD ASSES OF THE VALLEY…read more I went to Firestone Allentown when I experienced car trouble. I thought it was the transmission given the way it sounded and that I could not find any other examinable source of the noise. I tried to get my vehicle to this shop but my vehicle could not make it, and so I walked the last five minutes of the drive. Firestone was able to send a tow truck an hour and half later and retrieve the vehicle. They promptly looked at it and discovered the problem was with a brake caliper coming off. This was a simple fix, and as was necessary, they continued to examine the entire brake system and the remainder of the car for defects. Although one may argue this was an attempt to get more money, they found profound problems with the rear brakes. I know enough about brake systems to know if one leaks and gets air into the system then the whole system has no ability to stop the vehicle. So I had the rear brakes repaired as well. They also identified my vehicle was burning oil, so they added some. Some of the other problems with the vehicle Firestone identified I did not have anything done about since they were negligible problems for the time being. They did a great job showing me exactly what was wrong with my vehicle. They did not charge me for towing, nor for rotating the tires since all of the tires were off the vehicle anyway. They fixed things relatively fast given I had not made an appointment. The three staff members I dealt with were always courteous and the price was fair. I have no complaints about Firestone and they performed from start to finish like true bad asses. I would recommend these men and this Firestone to anyone.

After $1600 they didn't fix anything, said it would be another $1500 to continue with no guarantee of fixing it. They didn't want to continue. I took the loss and took it to a dealership, they found the problem and fixed it for under a thousand dollars. Firestone also had the audacity to list other repairs for over $2000, I would never go back there, and never go there with air conditioning problems. They should have given me money back.

They charged me $55 for the diagnosis (which was incorrect, as I took it to my regular mechanic who told me I had another 25-30,000 more miles left on the pads). Rothrock also wanted to charge me another $400 to replace the rotors and pads! Due to a recall they did replace the ABS system, which corrected the brake light malfunction. Did you know the garage repairmen actually get commission off of the "extra" work they recommend and charge you for? Be careful you are not scammed into additional services that are unnecessary.

Went to auto parts store, checked code. Looked like an easy to resolve issue. Scheduled an appointment on their website where you choose availability. The day of service they (Taylor?) called and said "Ya, we can't get you in until next week" to which we were like 'what are we supposed to do!? Your website scheduled us?!'- well they could care less. You shouldn't have a website to schedule service that *shows availability and books time slots* if you can't actually schedule. We took the car to Brown-Daub in Bath - not only did they take it right in, they replaced a part, adjusted something else, and voila - no more code. Car fixed *in an hour*. Road trip will happen as planned. Rothrock - take a hint from Brown-Daub.

I ended up waiting for 5 HOURS. 5 hours to mount and balance 4 tires. A job that takes 1 HOUR, TOPS. (I spent nearly 10 years as a full time truck service advisor/writer, so he picked the wrong woman to mess with). I arrived at 1:15, left at 6:15. Was NOT expecting to take up residency in their waiting area. After I got in my car, I noticed they never mounted the used tire or rim I had requested (to have as a full size spare). I was charged for the job. Pulled back up to the doors, and they did take care of that quickly. I was fuming. Also notified the BBB. Depending on if I get my refund or a load of crap from the manager, I may file a grievance with the State Attorney General's office. When I got the total, I questioned the pricing. The other service advisor at pickup said the tires I ordered were discontinued. Bullshit. Another lie. I pulled up the ad on my phone, $110.99 each. The ones I SPECIFICALLY ordered. At no time did anyone inform me that they were discontinued. Charged me $129.99 each, do they seriously think that women are stupid? On a positive note, the tires they put on were good in the snow. I drove 125 miles on the highway in a blizzard with no issues.
