These guys are amazing! i just moved up from FL and after having enough to put the car I wanted on hold, lie got in the way and I wasn't able to finish the deal until over a month later. Amey's was nothing but kind and patient. I was able to get everything done and the car was still waiting for me. They were able to wash what I owed on the trade-in, get my new payment way below my budget, and most importantly, while I was there with my kids, everyone was very kind and gave them things to play and color with while all the paperwork had to be done. Is it A. Stupidity B. Laziness C. Ignorance or D. All of the above How do you change the exhaust manifolds on a motor home without taking the wires off the spark plugs? Answer: You don't you leave it and let the customer do it himself after charging him $1200 to do the job. Just about ruined a vacation trip. Motorhome ignition wires were melted when they heated the bolts to remove them. They never bothered to check their work. Lost a customer for life. read more

I got a Jeep Wrangler from there in March . For $20,000 ! They couldn't call me when the parts were in for the front end , I had to keep on them . They didn't listen when i wanted the fluids topped off before i left the lot . I mentioned to them that the fan was working really hard all you heard from the car was the loud fan noise . They acted stupid and said they "didn't hear it" . After that I had to replace the tie rod bar because it was completely rusted out , almost broken ! I couldn't get an alignment done because of this. They should have but failed to do an alignment after doing front end work but now I see why they wouldn't do it because they didn't want to buy more parts . I heard the most awful noise from my brakes . They ones they "didn't pull" for the inspection sticker were down to the metal . Now winter is here . My heat is on and off working , consistently adding coolant to the radiator. But nothing pulled from the reservoir , got a new radiator cap . But now I have to keep filling up the reservoir . Here to find out I have a blown head gasket .... This Jeep is a 9 years old with 114,000 miles .... I put so much money into this vehicle since I got it . I don't recommend this place at all ! read more

On 03/14/2019, I visited Ameys garage based on the reviews of the place. They have great reviews so I trusted that they were a good at what they do, (which is fix vehicles). I dropped off my vehicle so they can find and fix a noise coming from somewhere in the area of the bottom of the motor. The people there were very friendly and polite. Later that afternoon I received a call from Jason who stated that they were unable to find where the noise is coming from. He informed me the serpentine belt is a little worn and the cost to replace it would be $220.00. I informed him that I would like to know the cause of the noise and cost, (which is why I took my vehicle to them in the first place), before I have the belt replaced. He then stated if you're not going to replace the belt than I only owed $53.00. I didn't think it was fair to pay the $53.00 and they couldn't tell me what is wrong with the vehicle. He stated that he understand why I wouldn't invest the money in replacing the belt, due to the fact that no one can tell me where the noise is coming from and what it will cost to repair. He then advised me to drive the vehicle until the noise gets louder, then bring it back so they can try (AGAIN) and figure out where the noise is coming from. I asked him if I would have to pay twice for checking the vehicle he stated yes. I said to him that I didn't think it was fair, I bring my vehicle to them to get it repaired and they were unable to do so, and that I would have to pay and still don't know what's wrong with the vehicle. I can understand if they had found the problem and I refuse to move forwarded with the repairs, but I still don't know whats the problem. I thought I was bringing my vehicle to professionals that would be able to repair it or at least tell me whats wrong with it . I then took my vehicle to a garage on Route 145 (in Walnutport) for service and they will not charge me a dime unless they find the problem. read more

Wow, only 3 reviews and from years ago. Here's what I can tell you in 2019. I purchased a car from Amey's and this transaction could have been a complete disaster. Instead, the ownership and sales could not have been more professional and understanding. At every turn, the staff exceeded my expectations in resolving the situation. Stopped in for an oil change. Didn't have an appointment but they took care of me. Very polite and professional. Highly recommend. I have window tint on my car and the technician was nice enough to come to the waiting area to tell me he isn't putting the sticker on it and it will be inside my door instead.
