I wish I'd read the reviews here before buying a car from this place. That said, I bought a Mazda and so far it's been a great car. I hope that lasts. My advice to anyone buying here: DO NOT BUY THE WARRANTIES. I did, and cancelled it within the allowed timeframe. That was in mid-August. It's mid-December now, and I've yet to be reimbursed. Nobody calls you back at this place, no matter how adamant they are when they say they will. You have to go back in and raise hell to get anybody to pay attention to you. don't buy a car here. they repair them only to the point they think they can get it out the door. The after the sale is the worst I've ever encountered. It will take you two weeks to get the car in for a diagnosis then it will take another month to schedule an appointment because they're waiting on parts. They'll schedule a day to have you drop it off. They'll tell you that it'll be done by tomorrow and then two weeks later it's still there with help for a loaner car. It really stings when you pay almost 30 grand for a car. read more

THE worst type of used car dealership. They say that they do an inspection on all cars, that is a load of BS. I was sold a car with the suspension and a brake line improperly installed, missing 5 bolts on the bell housing, and missing motor mount bolts. What 151 point inspection misses that kind of stuff. When notified of this and that the car was unsafe to drive (after being sold know that my 16 yr old son was going to drive it 500 miles home the next day), they went radio silent and didn't respond to correspondence at all. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!! If I could give this business negative stars I would. I bought a 2020 Kia telluride about a year ago and 6 months later I started having issues. Took it to a Kia dealership where they found corrosion in all 5 of my wiring harnesses. Luckily I got the extended warranty but autosavvy got involved and told the dealership not to fix the problem and instead they would fix it. Autosavvy did nothing but put a "bandaid" on the issue. Their mechanics are also worthless and don't know what they're doing. Since then my car has been in and out of different shops due to new issues coming up. Within 3 months I had to replace the brakes and rotors as well. Went back to autosavvy to tell them I no longer wanted the car and to get something else. They proceeded to tell me they could take the car back but I would be out $7000 because it was a "broken car with lots of issues......" which they sold to me. They also lied about the cost of the car and added things I never agreed to...like gap insurance, etc. Also I believe their financial lady was on some sort of drug. She was fidgety and made me nervous the whole time. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE just spend the extra money going elsewhere to purchase a vehicle. The salesman Tanner who sold me the car was truly a nice guy, but this review is low due to the finance manager Meagan who actually didn't listen to me when I said NO gap insurance and slipped it in anyways, $1,000 later. Then I payed for some tree donation $200, and $1500 for the Apex GPS system they didn't tell me was optional. They really don't break down what you're paying for and the extra stuff they tack on and now I'm just stressed out instead of enjoying my vehicle. Pay attention, I wish I did better. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! We had such a poor experience with this dealership, I would absolutely NOT recommend anyone their way. Here are a few red flags we experienced: - After test driving a vehicle we noticed a small issue and asked if it would be fixed prior to purchasing and we're told yes by two salespersons. We followed up with this at our next apt, again told yes and then confirmed it over the phone when finalizing the offer. When we showed up to sign papers we were told it was not fixed and given a repair request, told NOT to contact for at least 7 days as they are busy. They then set up an apt at the wrong mechanic, we had to take it to get 'reviewed' then another time to get fixed. - The salesperson was NOT able to answer a single question and had to go ask someone else every time. - After our apt we tried contacting to make an offer on the vehicle, NOBODY called us back for for days. We eventually had to go in there to get a response. In person we were told the manager would contact us, who didn't and a week later we had to go BACK in to get a response. - When making an offer on the vehicle we were told the vehicle had had been serviced and passed all their 'quality checks'. We asked for a copy of the report which was A HUGE pain to get. we kept getting told they 'didn't have access' and was only after heavily pushing for a copy that they finally did. - We were transferring the title of an existing lease to the dealership with a trade in and were provided the costs and process. 2 weeks after signing, we were contacted by Toyota asking what we were planning on doing with the car. We told hem we had transferred the lease to Auto Savvy and they should ave received the paperwork, They told us they had NOT. We contacted the dealership and again NO ONE got back to us in over a week after multiple calls and emails. My wife again just went in to speak to someone in person. In speaking to the head manager, a certain detail was discussed. The manager told my wife she was lying and that he could play a recording of our conversation from when we signed docs. Obviously there was no mention of any recordings being made at any time. Naturally we had the paperwork to prove that we were in fact correct after being implied as liars. - They told us the paperwork had NOT been sent yet (3 weeks after they said they would) and would overnight it. They did, but to the wrong place. - And lastly, literally ONE DAY after owning the car, the 'check engine light' comes on and when checked it said it was overdue for several things and had a few clear issues. I rarely leave reviews for anything, but this experience was so shady and dishonest that I felt obliged. Steer clear. read more

I bought a branded Subaru here a couple days ago and so far so good. Everyone was very helpful-- Brett, Nick, and Mitch were all great. Brett went over the list of all the things that were replaced on the car with my dad. We took the car to get check out at Subaru still before purchasing and they said it was in amazing shape and they couldn't even tell it was salvaged title. I purchased a 2018 nissan kicks and upon driving it home discovered that it had an intermittent issue of the car veering off the road randomly. As these cars are all branded titles I took their guarantees to be true and sincere... They were responsive at first but my car has sat at the mechanic (that they chose) for a week without one phone call to me... Upon calling the mechanic he said that he is waiting for their permission to perform the repairs needed... Bottom line is recognize that these are branded titles and despite their promises they likely will have severe issues that you don't notice on a short test drive. In my case, I'm told that the part has a $2300 price tag... In the selling process they are pretty good about making you feel comfortable with the risk because they will take care of you... Know this, sales and customer service don't communicate. You might buy from a salesman (Elvis seems like a good guy) but they can give you no assistance once you buy... This is tough! It's tough product to sell if you can't trust the sales story that you are being sold... read more

If I could give it a negavitive 10 star rating I would. I drove out from California. I should have known better. They offered me a trade in for at least what I owed.. I drove out and they said the offer was no good that it would be 2k less then what they originally told me. The car I had only had 34,000 miles with a CLEAN title... I bought the truck and nearly half way home the truck was rattling. You could hear a air gap in the door. I've had the truck not even a year and it's been in the shop at least once a month. Not to mention the DMV paperwork didn't get filled right so coming back to the state I had to write a check for $1400 more. I had to keep calling and calling the dealership to get them to process the paperwork. The truck is back in the shop as of yesterday as it needs a whole new front end rebuild.... I messaged the guy who sold me it and he read it with no reply. I wouldn't recommend this dealership to someone I wished it upon.. 300% go somewhere else! Don't waste your time and money! They just want the business to make cash. They don't care how it affects you after you sign the papers... read more

Buyer Beware.... they have shady business practices and don't honor their warranty/workmanship! I purchased a 2019 Acura TLX from AutoSavvy. The car had a salvage title and was supposed to have been professionally repaired. Within 30 days the clear coat started to bubble and peal off of the area repaired by AutoSavvy (Hood, front bumper and fenders). The paint/body repair was supposed to carry a 1 year workmanship defect warranty. I notified the manager, Cliff Coleman, of the problem but he didn't respond. I then called the home office in Woods Cross Arizona and was told they couldn't repair it right away, due to Covid they werent able to make immediate repairs. I was told that I could have the repairs made later. I lived in a remote area of Utah at the time which made it difficult to return sooner. In December, 2022 I moved to Idaho, so i brought the vehicle to the Local AutoSavvy dealer. On February 10, 2023, I spoke to the manager, Leland Bettencourt. I explained the situation with the paint/clearcoat defect and showed him evidence of my communication with the then manager, Cliff Coleman. Leland graciously promised to make it right and repair the vehicle at AutoSavvy expense. Leland put me in contact with Sidnie, from the AutoSavvy Claims Department. on February 28, 2023, Sidnie instructed me to get a repair estimate from the body shop of my choice. I immediately obtained and estimate from Tolsma Paint and Body in Caldwell and emailed it back to her the same day. Finally, on March 15th at 1:29PM, Sidnie called and left me a voice message stating the claim was approved and to i was "good to get the work done". I then scheduled the repair with Tolsma. On April 24, 2023, I called Sidnie to let her know the invoice she approved would need to be paid in full to Tolsma by May 15th. Sidnie then told me they have a new manager and it will need to go through approval with the new manager. On April 28 at 3:56PM, Sidnie called to inform me that the current manager, declined the claim. You must honor the promise to repair made by Leland Bettencourt. read more

LOOK AT THIS BEFORE YOU BUY Saw a vehicle at AutoSource that looked great and was reasonably priced. I researched the vehicle online and found something that the dealer didn't tell me: The car I was interested in at AutoSource was in a horrible wreck. It was salvaged then purchased at auction somewhere in Pennsylvania. I used vehiclehistory.com and autoforwarder.com as my sources, though if you google the VIN, you'll find other sites. Get the VIN from the dealer (look at the ad first as I found the VIN to my vehicle on there) Then search the aforementioned websites (or, again, just google it) using the VIN. I have no affiliation with those websites. I'm just a dude helping you out. I have nothing against the dealer. In my phone calls/texts they were professional and prompt. And they even state on their website that they purchase the vehicles at salvage. It's just I don't think they tell customers as much and I don't think customers would even know to ask the question; they just see a good vehicle for an even better price. One more thing: flood damage to a vehicle is sometimes worse than it being in a serious wreck. Many of their cars come from flood-prone areas: Florida, Texas, The Carolinas, etc. read more

Buyer BEWARE! So first off, staff was pleasant...nothing unexpected here as you are seeking to purchase a high dollar item. We understood that the the vehicle we chose (2016 Honda civic with 13,000) had a rebuilt title...of course assurances are given an a 3 month 3000 mile warranty is included. Here is where our issues started. As we were signing papers, without even bringing it up WHAT-SO-EVER, they tried to slide in a crappy $2500 warranty that end up costing $5000 financed. Totally deceptive business practice...period. You may ASK...explain the benefits & I may politely decline, but when you try to ram the paperwork though as your signing docs??...Borders on criminal and at least unethical. So we did catch the huge bump in price & were slightly peeved...and it was immediately taken off & re-adjusted..READ EVERYTHING! Wait...there is more!...you've read this far so finish the book! So a week later my wife calls from the side of the road...issues...of course there is...why was I thinking anything different?! Look, I understand...cars have issues...some unforeseen & some painted over. In our case a "sensor" (still not sure) was & is causing all idiot lights to come on...everything, emissions issues, brake failure, check engine..stuff i didn't even know the car had on it... So we are told after bring the car in it should be ready in a day...BS...LIE, don't believe a word... The car had yet to be looked at a week later...we are going on 2 weeks and apparently any "warranty work" need to go through a "process" of approvals at home headquarters...they look into it, days go by. Here we are now at almost 2 weeks later with what they say is a TPS or throttle position sensor ( i'm call bs, but we shall see). Apparently that is now "back ordered" & they will keep us informed as it must come from the "factory", another line of BS. I called 2 Honda dealerships in Boise...both have the sensor in stock. Bottom line this whole thing for us Mark... Deceptive sales practices wrapped up in the used car salesman aura... Horrible customer service, and just try to get a call back from ANYONE you leave a message with... Do yourself a favor...spend the extra couple grand for piece of mind & hit a reputable dealership....Larry Miller Honda comes to mind. Awful service. If I could give negative stars I would. Do not ever go to this place. Our car broke right after of driving off the lot. The radiator blew which had a hair line fracture that they never caught. They kept telling us they would let us know what was wrong with it but it took over a week for them to even look at and get parts ordered. The lady we had to go through wouldn't answer our calls or return them. It took on average 2-3 days to get a response back. There were minor issues that also needed repaired and supposedly they did a 100 point inspection yet when we picked the car up they didn't even know the headlight was out even though we told them and they inspected them. Upon getting home we realized they never extended our registration paper which was lapsed due to it being in their possession. We were told by the finance Shawn that he would not put the business at risk by extending it through the dmv because they would receive a fine. We were told by 2 people they would be extending it but the best Shawn could do was put for a ticket if we got one and they would reimburse us for the fines and fees we would be having by registering it late. After dealing with everything we have with this place we feel that these guys are extremely dishonest. We continue to get different stories from everyone each time. We will NEVER do business with them again nor will we ever refer anyone to them either. We will also be telling our finance company just how they treated us. read more

I was interested in one of the vehicles on their lot and decided to go for a test drive. My wife and I liked the vehicle and decided to take it for a pre-purchase inspection at a mechanic. The mechanic had the vehicle in the air for less than 5 minutes before he called me to the back to show me some of the issues with the vehicle. Needless to say, the vehicle had extensive mechanical issues including a structural issue that they informed me was extremely dangerous. Once they completed their inspection they informed me that the cost to replace all of the issues with the vehicle was almost 40% of the asking price of the vehicle (which was already above KBB). I carefully drove the vehicle back to the dealer and showed the salesperson the notes from the inspection. The salesperson was shocked and took a copy of the details and said that they would show them to their manager. Fast forward two weeks later and the vehicle is still listed on their website and other used vehicle websites with a slight discount ($1k), but no details of the inspection or any notes that there may be some mechanical and/or structural problems with the vehicle. I understand that they may have found some of the findings of the inspection to be overstated like belts or fluid changes, but a major structural/mechanical issue should not be ignored. read more

I give 3 stars because I was able to get out of my contract without much drama, however the car I purchased was not fixed properly (the frame was damaged and not repaired). I asked if cars were fixed just as though an insurance company would do the repairs and I was told yes, this was not the case with the car I purchased. I don't know if this slipped through the cracks or is common place, that's why I suggest if you buy from here you get an independent inspections (it's worth the $75.00) to be sure you are getting a safe car. read more

Buyer beware! I bought a car from them with hesitancy because of the rebuilt title. I requested a warranty. They chose the warranty that they felt best suited the car. When I purchased the car and warranty I was told the warranty would cover everything but high tech electronics which the car did not have. ONE MONTH LATER, my check engine light came on and it started driving funny. I went to the Honda dealer where they said it was specific mechanical problem. I had them call autosource warranty who told them that it wasn't covered. I called Autosource multiple times with my concerns asking them to fix this problem and I can not get a phone call back, even though I am being told every time that they will call me back, they never do! Went looking for a car after my car was totaled in a flood. AutoSource had a Subaru my wife and I was were interested in. Our salesman Shawn was very nice and was up front about the car. It had a branded title and he gave us a brake down of all parts replaced. He knew we were a little hesitant so he allowed us to test drive the car for half the day and get it inspected. We were very please with this company. Dmitry also helped us and he was just as great!!! Met the store manager Val and to my surprise was also a great experience!!! The staff here was top notch and I highly recommend this place!!! Will shop here again when I'm in need of another car. read more

Wow! Worst and most dishonest car dealer/salesperson experience that I have EVER had. The Woods Cross and Boise Dealership both told me that my 2011 cadillac had a branded title and they could only give me 1250 for the car. The Woods Cross dealership did this over the internet and the Boise dealership did this in person after I told them what the Woods Cross dealership tried to do! They both misrepresented autocheck and were adamant that the title was branded. This caused me much stress and took about 100 dollars in carfax and VIN number checks to verify that my title was NOT salvage or branded. Josh the regional manager acted like he wanted to make it right, but as soon as I sent him email documentation of the fraud he didn't call or email me back. STEER CLEAR of these jokers!!!! read more

One of the worst decisions I ever made was buying a car from Autosource. The car was in the shop for almost two months because of multiple issues that were actually said to be working from the 152 point checklist that they gave me when we were sold the car. Customer service was a joke and when they said they would call me, they never did. I turned on the defrost and glass came shooting out like it was never turned on and checked. There was a waterfall of a leak behind the dashboard that came into the passenger side of the vehicle. So much for the "inspection" they say they do. Now 7 months after purchasing the car the air conditioner isn't working, window washer fluid pump doesn't work, the rear auto hatchback on the car stopped working. The car is falling to pieces in front of my eyes. I took the car to the dealership and they said multiple cosmetic parts of the engine compartment are missing. This was a waste of $20,000. read more
