Cars are not safe when rebuilt from salvage. We hit a dog that ran out in front of our car and it totaled the car that we bought from AutoSavvy. The frame shifted after a dog and our car collided. I can't even imagine if a car or truck had hit us. The gap insurance takes an arm and a leg to get anything out of them, and in the end with all the miscommunication from the dealer and the Ally gap insurance they hope you give up on the claim before they pay out. They were short of paying the car off and we got stuck with the bill. Please don't buy cars from this dealership. You will regret it. I wouldn't send my enemy to buy there. The cars look good, but they are trash. Don't be fooled. I would give them a zero star if possible. I've thought as many people that are unhappy with this company we should go to the attorney general to get better protection from our state leaders against these financial predators who take advantage of New Mexicans! read more

A month later and these guys are still trying to sell me a car. I have had to block their number and email because telling them to not contact me hasn't worked, and removing their emails doesn't work either. Worst shopping experience of my life! The finance guy was too pushy. To the point where I was feeling bullied. It was going to be a big purchase for me. I wanted time to sit with the decision over night. I also wanted time to review everything in the quiet of my home. I'm really glad I did. Branded Tiles are kind of a big thing that they gloss over, relying on people being ignorant of the ramifications of purchasing a branded title. I don't want my process for making a $30,000 purchase to be labeled as over thinking or to be called someone who "stresses out a lot". That was exactly what was said to me. 0/10 Stars FOR SURE. I purchased 2023 Yukon Denali Ultimate from AutoSavvy Santa Fe on January 14,2026. Took the car home, drove it a few times and on January 27,2026 I was driving down the road, 4 miles from my house a message pops up "oil pressure low, turn vehicle off" I slow down, pull over maybe 200 yards total, in a no cell phone service area. I had to walk to service to call my husband to come get me. Auto Savvy does not answer the phone, we tried for over an hour. We finally had to have a local tow service take the vehicle to Auto Savvy (which they claimed we would be reimbursed for and have not been) The next day we drive down to Santa Fe and they tell us the motor is seized and proceed to state "I'm not pointing fingers but..." blaming me right off the bat. They claimed they have a freeze frame photo seeing exactly what I could see on the dash, which is a lie. We cannot get anyone in the company hardly to communicate with us. If you get them to answer it is someone in another state, Az,Tx,Nv (the three states I have talked to anyway) and they cannot help you. We asked for a loaner they offer a tiny Subaru hatchback. They do not call us back, we have to call every time and get promised "A Call Back" which usually doesn't come or is at least days to a week later. We asked them to cover the first payment because the vehicle is not even in my possession still a month later when the payment is due. The car came with a dealership warranty, which they will not honor. It has now been a month, I paid the payment and the company calls and states they will "split the cost with me for the new motor"... I drove it 13 days and its under warranty?...They still claim I "drove 12 miles after the light came on". I spoke with a GM Engineer, shared screenshots with him that they claim show where they are coming up with the 12 miles..he stated. "You can have a fault trip failure occur and it will not set off the warning light. Freeze frame data does not prove driver abuse" AutoSavvy does not care, they just decided to take 1k off my portion of the new motor. It's now at a standstill. I either pay 1/2 minus 1k knowing good and well I did nothing wrong or we stay at a standstill. This company doesn't trust me, they didn't share the wreck this car had been in previously, they hardly call back, I have seen nothing on my car stating what is wrong, and they are not honest at all. They aren't honoring the warranty, but also want to be the ones to fix it.. why.. so I can barely make it home? They did a shotty job in the first place and I'm supposed to trust it now? They asked for a review the day of purchase and I wrote one, later to find out it is to shadow the tons of horrible reviews I have since read. A week or so later I called on the same vehicle I already spoke with him about. They sent me a sales work up on the vehicle that included $12k in extras I didn't ask for including Nee Mexico tax and I was an out of state buyer. I asked Jeremy to work it up with no extras but my state tax. More than 24 hours later I still don't have the numbers. If you don't buy all their extra BS they don't want to sell you a car. Today I went online to write this review and saw several more just like mine. I probably would never buy a car from any auto savvy because of this one. Terrible people, business practices and treatment of potential customers. I've bought four different salvage title vehicles and NEVER had an issue. I too would give zero stars. Inventory from salvaged wrecks that insurers totaled out instead of paying for repairs. But Auto Savvy gets you on the back end, making you think you got a good car and then you have a big repair bill after they make you wait a couple months to get in (making your appointment on a remote number). The 2021 vehicle they sold me ("You drive a hard bargain, really got us down," the slimeball told me) has a non-functioning air conditioner, low beams that see about 40 feet, and the trunk latch doesn't work. The starter went out a couple days ago. And they're covering none of it! And I really love how the whole sales team met me in the parking lot, I'm sure knowing that I was there to call them out for the lemon they sold me. These guys are the reason for the sleazy used care dealer reputation. First, they act like they don't have any idea the reason for the salvage title. If they are so thorough like the act, they would know the reason there is a salvage title. Thank God for Carfax with bozos like this out there! My son brought his car in that had quite a few modifications on it, and wanted to trade. The manager took the paperwork out of the glovebox to help "value" the car. He then comes back with "the mods don't add value". 10k worth of mods don't add value? Obviously we left, but realized the next day that they hadn't returned the paperwork to us. When I contacted the salesman, the paperwork was "thrown out by the cleaner". Seriously? It was my son's record of everything that had been done! Do not trust this car dealership! As a woman of a certain age, I was deceived in a myriad of ways, only one of which was the contract price being $1,800 higher than the listed price. AutoSavvy should be named AutoSalvage because that is exactly what they do--salvage totaled cars. The majority of their cars have been totaled due to wrecks, water and mechanical damage. They flagrantly lied to me about the APR, which ended up being more than twice what they quoted me. Buyer beware! Run, don't walk, away from this unethical, deceitful, exploitative business. Don't fall for their age-old tactics of having you sign a piece of scrap paper committing to buying a car the same day, or the salesmen's back-and-forth trips to the manager, or the long waits as part of their tactics to tire you out in order to take advantage of you. read more

If I could give it no stars I would. From the beginning I applied with a sales person only to never receive a call back from the original sales person. I called to follow up and was referred to Angel. I told him that I would like to do an application prior to coming in as I did not want to waste his or my time. He told me an application could not be done ahead of time and I needed to come in. Told him I was credit challenged and explained my situation, and he reassured me that they would get me into a car with little or no money down. I also explained I was referred to them by a finance company ahead of time and said yes they work with them and will get me approved. So I reluctantly agreed to take time off and drive an hour away to visit. I arrived and did my application only to be told I was challenged via credit and would need a co-signer and a significant down payment. I expressed to him that I knew that already that is the reason for doing an application first prior to coming in. On top of it I had to come back to get my drivers license when I left as I did not return it. Lastly he did tell me that they were going to submit my application to a few finance entities for review and let me know what the status was. This was on a week day. I told him regardless to let me know. I left and I proceeded to shake his hand only to have the guy just sit with a lazy handshake. No sales person of professionalism would sit to shake another's hand or lead a customer on from the start with false hopes of a vehicle when the customer was transparent from the start. These are deceitful sales tactics and uncalled for experience that wasted my time and effort. I would not recommend this establishment for the purposes of securing a vehicle, and to seek out a reputable dealership that is clear and concise without misleading sales tactics. read more

After reviewing our paperwork that we were rushed through, we realized that we were charged for a GPS service that we DID not want as well as a Protection plan on our car's paint that we TOLD them we DID NOT want. I have emailed the finance manager to ask him about it and get this resolved but they wont even take the time to answer an email. We purchased a Cadillac xt5 from auto savvy in April, 2023 with an extended warranty. Our check engine light went on about 5 months after our purchase. Turns out it was a transmission problem that was not fixed properly prior to us taking ownership. Neither Auto savvy nor the extended warranty will cover the cost of the fix so we are out of pocket $3,500. Auto savvy has been very difficult to communicate with during this entire process and there is no accountability. I have filed a complaint with the BBB. read more

We had been researching vehicles and doing our car shopping online. When we discovered a vehicle we were interested in at Auto Savvy, we researched the company and decided to give them a try. We LOVED our experience there. Their prices are low and no haggling was needed. We actually took the vehicle we were interested in for a long test drive and even opened it up on the freeway to check for shimmies and rattling. We dropped the car back off at the dealer, did a little more research on our own back at home. We then let Jacob know we were ready to move forward. All the paperwork was handled via DocuSign and it was straightforward and super easy. Once all the "i"s were dotted and "t"s crossed, we were able to drive up and retrieve our vehicle. We felt like COVID protocols were being followed and the whole experience felt safe and extremely efficient. This is not your typical, high-pressure, used car dealership! We are super happy! read more
