Land Rover assist is just worthless, I ended up with two flats and needed a tow, Land Rover tow to the dealership which is across the street from Discount Tire. So I called Land Rover Santa Fe and spoke with Antonio and he had no clue so he transferred me to Eric who I feel is just rude and condescending. I was hoping the dealer would try to assist with the situation with Land Rover assist. His attitude was " Yeah that's how it works they'll tow here then it's up to you to get it across the street. The vehicle was sent to service on 7/21 for an apparent engine issue. It was returned to me four weeks later with service department stating that they could locate any issue. Two days and 50 miles later the same engine issue occurred. The vehicle was then returned to dealership where after two more weeks they finally diagnosed the issue which took another three weeks to repair and return. In total we were without the vehicle for 65 days due to service departments apparent lack of knowledge in repairing the brand of vehicle they sell. The total lack of quality communication did not help the issue. Most communication with the dealership was instigated by us the customer, not the dealership. Honestly one of the worst "luxury" if you can even call it that dealerships I've ever been to. First it starts when you call them they have no receptionist the phone just rings and rings especially if you are trying to get ahold of the service dept. I've taken my car here so many times to be "repaired" only to come back in 2-3 weeks with the same issues. Very lazy staff and service when you're paying this much for a vehicle you would hope to have good service and people that take pride in their work and their environment but sadly that's not the case with this dealership I wish I could say better but I've been very disappointed. read more

Be cautious when buying here. I have bought 2 cars here in the past and had great experiences, but when trying to buy another last week, was met with the most untrustworthy, unprofessional salesman. We drove from an hour away to look at a 2020 Sport. We came to an agreement on terms of the sale, passed credit checks, and decided on a down payment amount. The salesman was rude and condescending throughout the process, and even questioned the amount I listed for my income, but I liked the car and the terms of the deal enough that I decided to move forward. Since it was close to closing time, I said I'd be back the next day to sign the paperwork, bring in my trade, and pick up the vehicle. When I arrived the next day, he had sold the car to someone else. To make matters worse, he then proceeded to try selling us a car that we repeatedly told him we had no interest in. Doing business here used to be a great experience, but I'm afraid I'll be taking my money elsewhere from now on. We have had our 2004 Range Rover at Land Rover Santa Fe for 3 months now waiting for them to address the problem. We go in periodically to talk to the team and they shrug their shoulders and say they're still waiting on parts. Our beloved truck is sitting in the furtherest corner of the back lot, seemingly forgotten. As longtime Land Rover enthusiast, We're discovering that the care once given to up keep these vehicles is no longer available in Santa Fe. It feels like an era is over. We'll be talking with the general manager and hopefully something will transpire, but bottom line the days of owning vintage rovers are over in this town. It's heartbreaking. I question whether buying new rover is worth it given the service or feeling of disregard so far. As a brown women(+family) here in town I also can't help but question some bias. Stayed til after closing,we're tired,said we wanted to purchase the Land Rover and all agreed we would, so set an appointment for following morning at opening to write contract. After a long trip from Boston to Albuquerque, I needed to get a couple things fixed on our LR4 (which the dealership in Hanover, MA had never been able to diagnose and fix after multiple visits). I paid a quick visit to the dealership in Albuquerque and after a pretty cold welcome there decided to check out the one in Santa Fe, slightly out of the way but it is not a real inconvenience. I was welcome there by Eric Trowbridge, director of the service department, and even though he was having a busy week (4th of July) he took the time to listen to my concerns. We made an appointment for the following Monday. Him and his team approached the diagnostic step by step and were able to pinpoint exactly what was wrong with my vehicle (I was informed that it would be a few days to get everything sorted out - which was not a problem as I had been provided with a LR loaner vehicle, once again thank you for not putting me in a rental car - and also informed daily of what steps were taken). Once I picked up my car, not only had they fixed everything that needed to be fixed they also had left it pristine (very different than the dirty footprints left everywhere after each visit in Hanover, MA). Today, I went there to get new rims and tires installed and they took the time to adjust the alignment without charging me for it. The tires had arrived more than a week prior and they stored them for free. They also handled the reception of my rims coming from the UK without asking a question. As I arrived there this morning (late), the tires were mounted on the rims and ready to be installed. They did a perfect job and put my old set of wheels in my trunk while complementing me on my vehicle. Let's not forget the delightful Patricia working the front desk. All I can say is that this is exactly the type of customer service that I expect from a luxury brand such as Land Rover and the Santa Fe dealership should be THE model to flow for all others around the country. If your car is not under warranty, I suggest driving an hour to Southwest Rovers in Albuquerque for repairs/service. Rob seems to really know his Land Rovers, is very responsive, way cheaper/fairer, and 1000 times more transparent. I won't enumerate my troubles with the service Dept at Land Rover of Santa Fe except to say that this is June 20 th and my car had been in and out the shop in Santa Fe 4 times since late February for the same problem, sometimes as long as 12 days straight. I won't go into tedious detail except to say I was probably lied to about a part that was supposedly replaced and that the service manager would ask me such questions as "are you sure it's not your eco mode?" when my car would die on me or "did you have gas?" Oh yeah, and the first time I retrieved it, the left rear tire was completely flat! They all have the best annoying resting poker faces too!! read more

If I could give Land Rover SANTA FE a zero i would. My review is not a reflection of the cars, but of LR Santa Fe. The service dept is terrible. I had my LR serviced in Santa Fe and in other states. LR Santa Fe charged me, said they did work, but in actuality, didn't do the repairs I paid for. Even worse, after "fixing something" and paying thousands of dollars, I still had the same problems. But that's not the worse of it. They sold me a car that was in an accident and NEVER TOLD ME. Only years later upon trade in and subsequent Carfax did i learn that i was sold damaged goods - but paid full price. LR Santa Fe gives car dealers the bad name they deserve. read more

I needed a replacement key for my 2008 LR3 and called all around town, starting with Land Rover of Albuquerque. LR of ABQ was on back order and couldn't direct me to anyone. As my last attempt, I called LR of Santa Fe. The gentleman that helped me said that it would take weeks to get a replacement key from the UK. My experience has been very poor at best. I traded in my car for what appeared to be a beautiful used 2005 land rover with low miles. the dealer informed me that the car had a balance of factory waranty (repeatedly) -- It had been out of waranty for over a year. They informed me the vehicle had undergone a thourough ispection and everythign was working - Check engine light came on within the first hour of driving it and the fog lights didnt work. They informed me they could get me into the shop and give me a loaner car at the end of the week - If the car does not have factory waranty they will not give out a loaner They did not provide me with fully filled out sales documents. ------- Remember that in this economy a dealership will promise you anything to make a sale. The vehicle was not driveable and required a tow to another dealership interrupting my scheduled travel plans. My Discovery is not under warranty and has over 190,000 miles logged. Many of these miles are due to the boys at Land Rover Santa Fe. Anytime I need a part, service, advice, or just want to come by and shoot the breeze they are more than accommodating. They have customers on occasion who may be having a bad day which they take in stride, offering the appropriate assistance which in most cases is above and beyond what they would receive if they had a different vehicle. Just purchased our first car -LR Range Rover HSE from Jeff @ Range Rover Santa Fe (RRSF). We live in ABQ. Jeff is the Center Manager which means that Jeff acts as the salesperson, finance manager and general manager. Service reports to Jeff so if you want to talk to "top dog" for any reason, it's easy to find him :-). I like that. This also makes for an interesting negotiation on a car sale. if your not a fan of the more common dealer "circle jerk" approach. Since Jeff is wearing all of the required hats it arguably makes for a more "efficient" discussion and you should be able to get to your "bottom line" fairly quickly. We had a couple of issues arise with our car (certified used) and Jeff got right on it without any attitude. Jeff knows how to "correct" things, apologize for inconvenience and promise that he will be there to make sure the overall dealer buying and service experience are what you expect from Range Rover. Jeff's head is in the car game. If you are in the market for a RR head over to LRSF and see Jeff. It's worth the trip. Would have made five (5) stars except for the couple mechanical glitches which could have been avoided. Again, they were quickly remedied. read more
