Took my S550 in for a coolant leak and paid six to seven hundred dollars for the repair. The next day, my car overheated and started smoking--turned out the hose was loose. He fixed it for free. A couple weeks later I came back for an oil change and mentioned the leak was still there. He supposedly fixed it, but days later I found oil mixed into my coolant. He claimed it was the camshaft sensors causing oil to leak into the coolant, so I authorized roughly a thousand dollars in work: new camshaft sensors, another coolant hose repair, and a full coolant flush. Twenty four hours later, the same problem appeared again--oil in the coolant--and both my air intakes were completely loose and not seated correctly. When I brought it back, he insisted the first time wasn't oil at all--that the second time was the actual oil problem--and tried to convince me they were completely different issues. I showed him videos of both proving they were the same substance. He changed the subject and claimed it was another problem entirely. On top of all this, his prices are insanely high. I always joke about people who purchase BMW and Mercedes Benz vehicles. You must possess at least one of the 3 factors to make the purchase. 1. Gotten a really good deal on the vehicle, way below KBB value. 2. Have a great mechanic that can do the repairs, that you know will be coming. 3. Have enough money that you don't even care about 1 or 2. In my case on my last purchase we got 1 and 2. We were able to pick up a used 2000 S500 for very cheap with low mileage and one owner. Even though it was in great shape we knew that over time there would be issues, and luckily we had AutoTech Pro in mind before even purchasing the vehicle.
