    waiting area

Writing this review as i currently sit in the waiting room. Called for an appointment to get an alignment done on Sunday and it's now Saturday. I showed up 20 minutes early and for the appointment and was greeted and told to "bear with them" for a while. Figuring that I was early and they seemed busy I figured they were finishing up with other customers so I agreed and waited. It wasn't until the appointment time passed I slowly realized that their "alignment guy" wasn't actually there yet. Which is also okay, as he's under no obligation to be there before my appointment time, and because it's so early (9 am) maybe there was an assumption that the customer (myself) would not show up. I would've just appreciated the heads up when I got there that that's what i was waiting on. Once he got there, an older mechanic started looking at my car and starting the process so before I went into the waiting room I let him know that I just bought the vehicle about a week ago and it's missing an interior door handle, just a heads up so he doesn't accidentally lock himself in from the drivers side. He completely ignores me which I thought was odd, since in the 20 minutes i've been here I watched him interact with two other customers. I thought maybe he didn't hear me, but then he immediately starts driving the car with the door held open, which tells me he just chose to ignore me speaking. After that, I go to the waiting room with the door handle on my mind as well as the fact I need some other small work done and since i've never been here before I knock on the window and ask the two women at the window what other services they provide as I see advertisements all over the shop for serpentine belts and etc., I speak to one of them who then tells the girl next to her who then responds to her and then responds to me. Weird because we're all literally within 3 feet of eachother, but not the end of the world. She informs me that they only do brakes and suspension, and I respond, "Okay thank you, I was just wondering because I need a window motor replaced and I just wanted to make sure." The girl who telephoned for the main girl smiles and as I walk away, the main girl says "I didn't hear any of that" very rudely and then tells the other girl to close the window. I am expecting the service of the actual vehicle to go okay, and I was quoted $70 before I got here, which is a decent to fair price. I just don't really understand the giant "TIPS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED" sign and all the glowing reviews about customer service when everyone here seems to be pretty rude for whatever reason. Typical in mechanic environments as I myself have worked in them but still unnecessary. Hispanic owned and ran it seems which was also strange to me as I am hispanic myself, born and raised on the mexican american border and they seemed to just blow me off, which they didn't do to any of the other customers (atleast from what I happened to see in passing) Maybe it was the car I brought it, as I just bought it and registered it the week before and it's a project but their customer service seemed to be lacking. UPDATE: So at 9:30 exactly, I was informed that they would not be able to service my vehicle, due to it needing the front end suspension redone, quoting me around $2,090. For a 4 cylinder 01 Honda CRV. $1,170 of that being on parts alone. As I mentioned earlier, I have spent a lot of time working and being around mechanic environments, I just moved to this area so I thought I'd come here since it's convenient, nearby, and the reviews seemed so positive. I actually appreciate that they didn't do the alignment knowing it wouldn't end up correctly, as I buy used often and have had the issue of shops doing that even when I ask beforehand just to be sure. What I don't appreciate is how nice and chipper the saleswomen were now that they were asking me for $2000 to do a suspension kit that takes 2 hours in labor and goes for less than $500. Also, she informed me that th mechanics will inform me more of what the car needs and the process of it all when I went to my car. Laughable. They all just stared at me and walked away as I got closer to the car. They definitely didn't forget to let me know that the suspension check was $30 before I walked out of the waiting room though! Definitely not coming back here, maybe solely to get that $30 to roll over to the alignment that was advertised if I decide to get the work done somewhere else (which i Definitely will) and then return. 2 stars Solely because they let me know what the car needed and didn't just do the alignment knowing it wouldn't end up right.

Tire after a less than a week

The shop was very professional and got my tire replaced quickly, which I really appreciated. The staff were friendly and the service was fast. My only issue is that after leaving, I later had to replace the rim and buy a whole new tire because of damage that wasn't pointed out to me when the first tire was put on. From what I understand, shops are supposed to check for rim damage before sending a car back on the road. I still think this is a good shop overall, but I would have liked more thorough communication on potential issues to avoid the extra expense.

Awesome! I went to Monterrey Tire Center on a Saturday morning, pulled right up, and received service immediately. For $10 it took about 10min to have the nail removed from my tire and for the tire pressure to be checked. There's a comfy waiting room (with a vending machine)if you do have to be there longer. All in all, a great place.

The place is experience, you might as well go to the commercial tire shop. They charge $2.00 for air.

Looking for rim repair, and this place comes up, just need to verify that they also do this here. If so, how much would repairing a rim cost?

Hello, I've decided to have this done too & it's take, 2-3 days also ranges in price, $75-100 depends on kind of damage on rim.

I decided to give them a shot after such an incredible experience getting my windows tinted at their other shop. I am car illiterate and they're super patient with me. They've caught and thoroughly explained improper past fixes and what kinds of issues I have. They are proactive in communication, are friendly, and the ability to get an uber ride to and from the shop on their dime is incredible. They've also given me a loaner to use when they've had my car for extended periods. My last shop (European Service Center ) felt like I was picking up a part time job just to get any communication and my car would sometimes be there days on end without getting worked on. I feel like E1 is super respectful of my time, cares about my business, is very professional, and keeps me informed without me asking- it's so refreshing and appreciated. They are not the cheapest but also not wildly expensive either; their pricing is on par with my last shop and things are actually done right. I recognize that things don't always go perfectly and care a lot about how a company reacts to makes things right. I had a slight issue with my struts repair after about 9 months after the fix and they stood behind their work no problem and fixed it promptly (they have a 3 year warranty on work done). Just a great business.

Which makes me think this establishment can manipulate metrics to only show the positive reviews which is unscrupulous. Honestly, am amazed at all of their glowing reviews which places me as the exception.. Pls see pics of their work & zoom in. Back in 11/2024 my vehicle was parked in the parking lot by valet to which the very same valet driver while moving another customer's vehicle, hit mine in the process.. Due to the "raving reviews" I opted to take my vehicle here for body work.. Big mistake. Can't discredit their courtesy at first glance nor their congeniality.. However, when it came to picking up my vehicle & scanning it thoroughly this is where I uncovered deceit. First off, was never provided any updates or feedback leading up to me picking up my vehicle. Radio silence. I was the one reaching out inquiring about the status. If you as the reps of this establishment respond back to my post & lie & say you kept me posted throughout the duration, that's a lie. I had to establish the contact. Upon picking up my vehicle in 1/2025, forgot the guy's name, however he's the older gentlemen, he informed me my vehicle is outside & hands me over my keys. Thought that was mad odd so I said "hey, can you come out with me so we can view the work repaired together". He obliged. Note, weather was dreary & wet the day of pick up. As I'm looking around to observe if there are any discrepancies, saw them & pointed them out to the gentleman. One of which was a black scrape mark embedded in the bumper area. So, I asked if this is a "new" bumper why is there a noticeable mark? He gave me a lame response, "well , it must of got there when the tech was placing the bumper on, he may have scratched it" ok, fine.. As a result, he did return my vehicle back to the tech to "touch up" that blemish. After the touch up, it was still noticeable plus a part of the bumper was not completely pushed in so they tried to manage but failed to push it in completely. Once I arrived home, the sun was now beaming to which allowed me to perform another scan of my vehicle. It was there I discovered other issues. In their defense, they did since I was under warranty , attempted to warranty their work by remediating the flaws including me pointing out glued up sides in the crevices of the bumper. To which Azim said, "oh, that's just paint that bled over" . Any who, my vehicle was kept with them for another 2 weeks I believe. During that time, they did provide a loaner. When I picked up my vehicle, noticed papers where I store in the sun visor, rummaged through & placed on the passenger seat. The back seat area (I have leather seats) looked as if it was walked on as I saw muddy foot prints. Rude! Their aesthetic is grimy & unprofessional. Gaps still in the crevices of the bumper & fender plus the gaps between the bumper & headlight & hood, all optics. Fast forward to Feb 2025, I emailed them to showcase an image I took displaying ripples in the paint foundation. They ignored me so I sent a follow up email in March 2025 (still was ignored) informing them of that rippled paint issue as well as a bumper that is not pushed in & keeps sticking out! I contacted the 3rd party insurance that paid for the repair & that's when this establishment tried to contact me. At that point, I ignored them since I did not trust them to fix their mistakes. I instead, went to another body shop the 3rd party insurance approved. I was furious! Couldn't believe this happened to me especially since they've worked on luxury vehicles & had great results. The body shop that performed my post repairs, relayed when you lift the hood up, screws were missing, there was a huge gap between the hood & bumper. After removing the bumper, they stated the bumper was all glued up! Said , it looked like it was glued together to the Azim person & he dismissed my remarks. The hood needs a paint correction as my vehicle is not the same. I am fortunate, during my post repairs from another body shop, there are no longer gaps & glued up parts. Forgot to add, one of their employees stole my spray air freshener..
