Thanks for being open on a Sunday! I called but didn't get an answer so I pulled up and they were able to patch my tire and I just waited inside my car. Amazing work quick and efficient low price came here for a plug and out in five minutes

Saving lives every day. Ran over some large screw that quickly released air. I was picking up my cousin in the area and he directed me here. He'd never been but had seen the spot. It was 5:39 pm on a Wednesday evening and we were heading to dinner with family so I was a bit distraught. The gentleman (maybe Mr Hidalgo) came over immediately and went to work. He saw the screw and said he could plug it. In less than 15 min, he was done and I was on my way. He was very nice and I so appreciated how quickly he worked. The plug was only $15. I know it's not a huge deal but the tire was losing air at a very fast rate so I was thankful he was there to save us. Def would go back for service. The sign also said he was a general mechanic. read more

I cannot express how amazing this place is! I ran over a pot hole right off Durham (which if you're from Houston you know that's an easy thing to do) and boom I got my little air pressure tire light come on my car! I started to panic as I don't like driving w the little bitty spare tire I searched for used tire and this popped I managed to drive here very slowly and within 10 minutes I had a "new" tire. What I'm guessing the owner speaks very little English but he is super friendly and will tell you right away if he has the size of tire you need. I did hear him say he didn't have a size to another customer which I get it he can't possibly have all tires back there! They checked the air pressure to all my tires and even recommended me to get new ones soon as mine were getting old. I only paid $60 bucks for the tire if you ask me that's a great bang for your buck. read more

I originally went to the Goodyear place on Washington to get my tires rotated and of course for a large tire shop I was prepared to wait a while. However, when I arrived, the manager told me that their lift was broken or something along those lines and they wouldn't be able to take care of the rotation that day but to come back another day. Well I didn't feel like waiting so I looked on Yelp and found Hidalgo's right around the corner. The place doesn't look like much but the service was excellent. I pulled up, asked if they could do a rotation and the only guy working there (guessing he was the owner) rotated the tires right then and there as well as put a plug in for a slow leak, literally 15 minutes in and out. What really set him apart was when I asked him if I should do a balance, he asked if I was feeling any vibration, I told him nope and he said not to worry about. I realized that if he just said yes it is necessary, I would've done it. I appreciated his honesty and that coupled with the fast and efficient service deserves a 5 star rating! read more

He was very kind and show me a list of businesses near with the distance next to them that do perform inspections. He gave me his recommendation and I was very pleased with the time he gave to me as he was in the middle of fixing a tire. Went in for a quick patch and they scratched my wheel on my brand new car pretty bad. Also a big saftey concern they put the wheels back on with just the air tools and they do not torque the wheel down to manufacture specs, which can cause your wheel to fly off on the freeway. read more

Hidalgo always comes through. Living in Houston you will inevitably be faced with nails or screws in tires and the big box stores will tell you they can't fix it. Great shop, in and out fast. Great quality and work quickly to solve your problem. The sign is pretty obvious to were the shop is unless you're not paying attention. Always have my tires and my husbands as well. And if they're not in stock he calls to order them and they hey get picked up or delivered to them same day.
