I will start my review by thanking Kyle Costello for his excellent customer service, knowledge of the inner working of the vehicles, and just for being a genuine person who is just as interested in helping you with your new car experience as he is with "selling" you a car. Unfortunately, that is where my positive comments end. My experience did not begin with Kyle and was with a different salesperson who was pushy, did not disclose all the many add-ons and the cost added to the vehicle purchase until I was literally sitting in front of the financing guy with documents pushed in my face to sign (and yes I kept asking for a breakdown of the price), and he has had a very condescending attitude towards me since I purchased the vehicle and particularly when I asked for help communicating with the maintenance department about the car's electrical issues. I purchased a brand-new Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Limited in January 2023. This is a beautiful car with more features than I will probably ever use! However, there are issues with the onboard displays and air conditioning that could be related to electrical issues or a software defect. I have been so disappointed having just paid over $40,000 for this 2023 Hyundai Sonata. This was my very first new car! I was so excited. The maintenance department have tried to diagnose the issue and did establish there was indeed a problem that is "beginning to show up in other vehicles" as well. The car was taken for over a week for repairs. After retrieving the vehicle, the very same problems consisted including onboard drivers displays reverting back to initial factory settings, resetting meters and indicators for fuel, mileage, and economy, the air conditioning also turns off and resets among other issues. On an almost daily basis I have to go in a reprogram the displays to show the correct information and I have lost any information stored for fuel, mileage, and fuel economy. My greatest disappointment is how I have been treated as a customer after purchasing the vehicle. I feel very much like now that they have my money, I am not a priority and there has been little to no communication from the maintenance department with any updates or communications from the Hyundai engineers. I understand that things like this can take time, but I have gone weeks without even a courtesy update on the status of my vehicle. I believe if I stopped calling the maintenance department, they would never bother to contact me and would just wait for me to go away.

It was odd and semi rude but I ignored it and was friendly and turned the keys into the lady at front - She seems extremely rushed or annoyed. (maybe too busy or short staffed)? A telephone call came thru and I needed to ask about an alignment. I waited. After she hung up I asked about a alignment and balance- and she snipped and said "It HAS to be scheduled!! Its 80.00) I said OK and she walked away. I waited by the window again to go ahead and help my mother in law actually schedule the alignment as she was in the restroom at the time. I saw her walk to the back office annoyed for some reason (probably to complain to the guy in back office- blue shirt and one with grey sweatshit on)- who walked thru mumbling something like "it has to be scheduled.." (Note: We all already knew that and simply stood there to schedule it!) owner, staff and front desk lady must not have liked that I was waiting at window to schedule and started yelling at me! (My mother in law and I were extremely shocked) and advised her I was jot being pushy and just asking to schedule an alignment for my mother in law). We both ended up sitting down after this traumatic behavior and customer service. Sat there a while and then the front desk lady brough a book over and asked my mother in law to schedule alignment. It was all very orchestrated, rude and ridiculous but understand things get tense at times. As someone who has actually worked in a tire/muffler and oil change shop as a front desk scheduler, and receptionist/check in person I would have NEVER behaved like that to ANYONE (nor would have the owner/staff encouraged it all). - was the perception. Maybe scheduling, staffing or time mgt is an issue at this location but it was very unprofessional and rude and NOONE including ME or my mother in law should have been treated that way. Ridiculous especially for a small town where everyone clearly is related to everyone or knows people.
