I needed new wiper blades for an old car. I couldn't figure out the ones I needed after ordering the wrong ones recommended by Amazon. I called on a Wednesday morning. April answered promptly and said if I arrived soon there was someone to replace the blades. I was there in 15 minutes. After a few minute wait, April walked me to the aisle and helped me select the best option for our old car. I waited a few minutes until Tommy was finished with his customer. He walked out with me, popped off the old blades and put the new ones on in a few minutes. I was in and out in 10 minutes. Just what I wanted and needed. read more

First off, their website should advertise that the customer need to call ahead to see if somebody could do a battery install before making a purchase in this location! One staff said they will be short handed if one person steps out to do the install to my car. Mind you there's 3 of them behind the cash register- multiple more in the back! Then he sends me to another staff ONLY to get told that they won't install the battery in my car since I have a "push start" car! Most cars are "push start" nowadays if I'm not mistaken. Where is that disclaimer in the website? So, all in all! Do not go to this location! You'll leave out frustrated! Visited today (12/27/20)! Not impressed with lackluster service and borderline dismissive attitude of clerks and other Autozone gentleman who appeared to be a manager. Tsk tsk tsk! I was not advised concerning use of the code scanner which was dropped into my hand almost rudely as the clerk gave me no instruction other than "Plug it in." I know the staff is not allowed to enter customer vehicles as per Covid-19 dictates, but those dictates do not mandate poor, irresponsible customer service nor do the current restrictions call for abandonment and disregard of patrons. The BRIGHT SPOT of my visit , and recipient of many KUDOS, is HERO 'Officer Zannie,' the security officer who lent me the light from his flashlight and google-searched to find the location in my ILX of the scanner input port. From his front door post, he described the location of the input port, and I was able to end 20 minutes of unsuccessfully searching for the port, a search during which I received not one bit of help from the members of the Auto Zone staff. On the contrary, one Autozone clerk had the nerve to walk to the store's front door and ask indignantly and aloud, "She didn't get the code YET??!" How rude, unprofessional, and irresponsible! Nonetheless, thanks to the courteous, professional, responsible 'ZANNIE," I completed an unfamiliar and difficult task. Good thing he actually cared, seeing me stretched upside down across my front seat, my head stuck under my dash and my mind in utter dismay! He came to my rescue for customer safety purposes and to help an abandoned damsel in distress! It is that type of qualitative and caring service that will help businesses maintain patronage during these times of economic downturn and crisis! Thank you, Officer and Gentleman Zannie! I hope AutoZone gives you due commendation and reward! I hope this store starts to value and appreciate customers! If not, more of us will be patronizing Salvo and other such auto parts businesses just as I plan to do the next time I need auto parts! Needless to say, when the negligent Autozone clerk pulled up the part that I needed to buy as per the code which showed on the scanner, I passed on buying and politely informed him that I would not be purchasing the part at that time. Completely unprofessional and very rude to their customers , bought a product and realized it was ripped , so I go back inside and politely ask if I could exchange it , they rudely tell me no and say that I ripped the product?! They say it left the store in perfect condition but it did not , so I go to where I get the product and find the same product with another rip , I compare it to mine and they just say no it's perfectly fine , moral of the story , if you don't like your job don't take it out on your customers it makes the business look very bad as well as yourself . read more

Horrible. Dirty. Unorganized. Rude. Unprofessional. It's located on the bucolic Reisterstown Rd amid the used auto dealerships, and dreadful fast food joints. I went on my lunch hour for a headlight. Normally there is a referral book in the isle with auto lights with all the makes and models of cars; for whatever reason my car reference page was ripped out of the book (WTF?). So I attempted to engage one of the "useful" sales associates who was finished helping another person. I have a feeling that because I was the only WHITE person in the store I got shit service. Anyway, he ignored me, walked past me without a word and proceeded to go to the back of the store to yuck it up with fellow employees. So I stood behind another customer who was swearing about the services. I waited 15 minutes and no one helped me. So I said fuck it and left. I'll go to one near my house off Harford Rd. where the staff are friendly, polite, and not passive aggressive. read more

No frills, it's autozone, after all. The shelves were stocked and organized. I asked a sales associate where to fine an oil filter wrench and he walked me right there. A major plus of this location is that they have a large parking lot with trash cans spread out everywhere. The lot is clean, well lit, and a great place to do a quick fix with the parts you just bought or the tools you just borrowed. When I am on this side of town this will be my go-to spot. read more

Tonight i went to get get an air filter for my truck. I called ahead to see if the part was in stock, and it was. Then, i go to the shop and the clerk didn't know which filter to select, my truck has three different filters. So i go out to the truck to remove the old one so he can compare part numbers and i can buy the proper one. I ask if they can install it for me and he says the other guy can do it. The other guy who was changing out the trash cans says, " no, it's not my company. " Sooo...did I get a filter? Nope. Will I ever return to this store? Nope. I went in to buy some small things yesterday, as I live right around the corner and can easily walk over. The people there are usually unhelpful but uninterested enough to not come across as rude. But yesterday the man at the counter was borderline threatening. This is my story. So I found my items and asked one of the guys stocking shelves if they had replacement tire valve caps that weren't decorative, just the regular ones that come with the car. The employee, who looked stoned, mumbled something inaudible that ended with the word front and shrugged. So I made my way to the front where no one was at the counter. I waited in line until the employee came in from outside where he was helping someone with something. He checked them out first and then came my turn. This is where things went south. I put my merchandise down and he told me how much I owed. I took out my wallet and started counting out bills onto the counter, trying to find a five and some singles. I finished counting out my eleven dollars and slid the money forward to the cashier. Then I hear him say "can you put the money in my hand sir?" I thought I misheard him or I misunderstood the situation. Maybe the guy can't reach it or something? I look up and see him standing there with his hand out right next to the money on the counter. Confused, I ask him "what?" To which he replies, "I just think it's kinda rude to put the money on the table when my hand is right here." (Now I hadn't even seen his hand there until he told me to put the money in it because I was counting the money) I looked at him, puzzled for a second trying to figure out what could be rude about counting money out on the counter. Then realized that this guy is basically trying to make some kind of point. I looked into his drug dazed eyes and saw a man that wanted to humiliate me into subservience. Maybe because I was the only white guy in the store, or maybe because I'm an Orthodox Jew and he's harboring some anti-Semitic resentments. I don't know. I'm not a psychologist, just a guy trying to buy some glue, alligator clips and tire valve caps. So I asked him, "your telling me that your not able to pick up the money off the counter, you want me to pick it up and put it in your hand for you?" To which he responded, "I'm not saying I can't pick it up, I'm just saying that it's rude to be putting it down when my hands out, and you need to put it in my hand." At this point there's a line behind me of people waiting and watching this interaction in rapt attention. So I picked up the money...and put it back in my pocket. I told the man "you need to grow up, have a nice day." And I walked out. This isn't the first tome I've seen this particular employee act rude or inappropriately. Once I saw him arguing with his manager about taking out trash, while a customer was waiting to check out. I've seen him tell a lady to wait outside and he would come install her battery, only to turn to his coworker once she was outside and say "just let her wait out there long a while and she'll leave." I used to shop at this location fairly frequently, as it's close by. I doubt I will ever shop there again. read more
