I went in because my break light was out. I didn't get her name but she was very nice and worked hard to fix it for me.

From the time I bought it until now I had to pull the transmission and warranty it multiple times. Within 9,000 miles one of the pins in the planetary gear back out and obliterated the entire transmission and turned it into a pile of scrap. Pulled the transmission, had to freight it to them from Pittsburgh, PA but luckily the warranty covered the freight. I used an inhouse mechanic and asked Suncoast about covering the labor to install/reinstall and the kind gentleman in the warranty department told him to send him an invoice. I sent an invoice and we spoke on the phone and he said, "buddy, I know what you are trying to do.. come on." What he was insinuating was that I removed it and reinstalled it myself, and I was just trying to get $1,000 to put into my pocket. It was to cover the labor that was performed by an inhouse mechanic and the flush kit needed to flush the forbidden glitter and liquid money that my $12,995.00 transmission just puked into the lines and transmission cooler. I didn't send him the bill to rent another 3500 Cummins that was $2962.58 to our friends at Enterprise for the time my truck was down because we know that would be a waste of time. The 2nd failure was the torque converter failed and sent the fun metallic milkshake full of the forbidden glitter and chonky pieces of metal through the entire system, had to ship it back again, and then had to flush the entire system to get all the metal out of the lines & cooler. 3rd failure was the output shaft sheared in half while doing 70mph on the high with 2 people in the truck and no load in the bed or trailer connected. It happened while throttling approximately 25-35% it just spike the rpms, and stopped transferring power. The nice gentleman that never answers the phone said the owner had the same problem and blamed the PCM. No warranty this time, time to open the bank account and flood the hands of Suncoast with crispy $100 bills for freight and a billet output shaft so it doesn't happen again.... Only a total of $1,900.00. Thank you Suncoast! Received the transmission back, drove it approximately 25-50 miles and there were 0 codes at this time on the truck and surprise! That baby downshifted so hard, that I knew the only option was to go straight to Dodge, trade that pig in, because Suncoast literally would not return my phone call.. Good work team, it was a short lived relationship, and no better time than the present to get out now before it becomes catastrophic. So long & farewell Suncoast, it was one heck of journey. 4 transmissions later and still couldn't figure it out.. sheesh. Don't believe my story? I wish you luck on purchasing the best paperweight money can buy.
