They were very helpful in locating my burnt out fuse; and I was able to use my GPS again.

The technician reprogrammed the remotes and hooked up the equipment. He stated if you have any issues to call him. We had functions on the remotes that did not work. Called him twice with no call back. Called the Geek Squad. at Best Buy in Destin and explained the issue. We were told if we wanted additional service we would have to pay again. Requested to speak to a manager. Was told he would call the following day. Did not receive a call back. It is obvious that the Geek Squad and Best Buy to not stand behind their service. The total time between the install and lack of response was two weeks. Cannot recommend any service involving the Geek Squad at Best Buy in Destin, FL

They will call you two hours before they are supposed to arrive and cancel and when they reschedule they will not show up. The delivery team will come and drop off equipment when you believe that the installation crew is finally coming to install the equipment.  Yes, this has been my experience with Best Buy in Destin. I just don't believe this is how you treat a long term customer that has paid to be part of their special club. Well any customer for that matter.  I told the delivery guys to take the product back where they got it and I will cancel my membership and get a refund on the equipment I purchased from them. The degree of communication and the apathy for the customer leads me to find a different company to supply my electronics and appliance needs. Seriously, think twice before using this company. They just may leave you high, dry & frustrated just like me!!

Eric was super friendly, answered all my questions, had the part on hand and got to work immediately. While I was waiting some lady came up and was being very rude. She claimed that Eric messed up her phone. He tried to explain that the part he replaced was defective. He refunded her money and offered to repair her phone again, but she continued to throw a fit and make threats. Eric handled the situation very professionally and even got my phone fixed in the middle of it. I will definitely take all my future phone repairs to Cellular Nerd.

Hostile Owner - Terrible Experience - Lost Hundreds…read more On March 11, 2026, I brought three iPads to Cellular Nerds for screen replacements. When I picked them up several days later, all three appeared to have new screens. BUT wait. However, during our drive to Disney on March 13 right after pick up, two of my three children began experiencing issues with their iPads on the drive to Orlando--problems we had never encountered before. One device had a broken, sticky home button, while the other refused to stay on and charge. After returning from vacation, I contacted the owner on March 25 to discuss these newly observed issues. The owner assured me the repairs were under warranty, apologized, and promised to fix them. When I dropped off the iPads on March 25, Eric, the owner, explained that a stepson or son-in-law had assisted with repairs and made several mistakes, again offering an apology. By April 9, Eric informed us that the home button was fixed, but claimed my child intentionally broke it which is a complete false claim. I asked if he and his son moves the buttons around when he fixes the screens he admitted yes. He also said the iPad that wouldn't stay on or charge likely needed a new battery, with no mention of possible water damage after review of second drop off. Weeks went by without any update, so we reached out again on April 17th. Eric then admitted weeks later he had forgotten to order the battery. On April 24--nearly a month and a half after our initial drop-off--I called Eric for another update. He then suggested the battery was not the issue, and the problem might lie with the motherboard. At that point, he recommended we consider purchasing a new iPad. A new IPAD that had a scratched screen and worked perfectly before the handling of Cellular Nerd. During our conversation on April 24, I politely requested a refund for the iPad that remained nonfunctional after repairs, even offering to return the screen he installed. Immediately after my request, the owner responded by yelling, using profanities and obscene language, then abruptly hung up. I called back right away to express my discomfort and disappointment with their disrespectful behavior, which was entirely uncalled for and unlike anything I'd experienced before. The profanity continued and hung up again. My wife tried talking to him and the behavior continued. My wife and I were so disturbed by Eric's hostility that we called and requested assistance from the Navarre police department to retrieve our devices. My elderly mother whom later retrieved the devices was also treated with disrespect. I am sharing this account to document our unfortunate experience transparently and clearly with Cellular Nerd, supported by our receipt and documented timed date stamps. We are out 100's of dollars and an IPAD that doesn't work. My son continues to cry about it and my family continues to be shocked by the owners disgusting behavior. We regret our decision to trust Cellular Nerd and will NEVER return.

The computer worked great after that except the new battery wouldn't charge, so I brought it back in. They replaced it again and also replaced the I/O board, all in an effort to determine the cause of the problem and all considered warranty repair so there was no cost. Finally, when it still wouldn't charge they explained it was likely the logic board which is a very expensive repair. They said they could replace it, but given the cost, it's better to invest in a new laptop which was a really honest recommendation. But they salvaged the Macbook Air. Considering how much water was spilled on it, coming away with only a very slowly-charging battery is about as fortunate as it can get. All in all, they were very thorough, honest and the amount of time they spent trying to repair my Macbook Air was much appreciated, since a lot of the labor and parts were warranty. They called me regularly to update me on the job before replacing any part and making a recommendation. I'd bring any computer you need fixed to this location. They also offer military discounts. Although I didn't need it, they also do data recovery. Definitely deal with these guys before you send your computer in for service.

These guys are awesome!!!…read more I had to get the alternator replaced in my Honda Civic while on vacation in Destin. About 6 months later, my car was giving me similar issues so I called them up to let them know what was going on, but that I was no longer in Destin. Destin Imports located a car shop in my home city, contacted them for me, and arranged for my alternator to be replaced again under the warranty. They followed up daily to ensure that it got done correctly and took care of everything for me. As a young female, it is very very hard to find a car place to trust, but these guys have gone above and beyond!!! I would highly recommend to anyone. The owner called me after a week to say the ticking was coming from the bottom of the car, not the top, and needed new cams/bearings for $3k or it could catastrophically fail. I agreed. The ticking is still there, and it's painfully obvious (they said they test drove it and it was fine). I called five times over the course of two weeks trying to speak to someone about it to find out whether I should bring it back in or not. The manager said I wasn't allowed to speak to a mechanic, but he'd have someone call. No one called. I've maintained this BMW myself since 2018, so I decided to run the diagnostic myself. It ended up being a completely different problem, so I'll be taking it elsewhere to get the repair done. It would have helped me tremendously to know if the cams/bearings were actually out of limits, but they didn't even bother documenting it on the bill. They got $3k out of me, but they lost a customer.
